"This was my first trip to Korea, and I arrived late at night. The immigration process took a while, and I was worried about missing my check-in time. However, the hotel responded immediately to my email, assuring me that 24-hour check-in was available, which was a huge relief. The location near the subway station is incredibly convenient, and the price is unbeatable. There's a 7-Eleven and other convenience stores nearby. Plus, there's a bakery (possibly a chain) that opens early in the morning, and their bread was delicious. Some reviews mentioned an odor, but I found that it wasn't an issue if I kept the shower room door closed. There was a thin pipe coming out of the shower room wall, and a small puddle of water would constantly form beneath it, but given the excellent value for money, I didn't mind. The room was small, but perfectly adequate for one person. For directions: Facing subway exit 6, walk past the 7-Eleven, then turn right at the corner coffee shop. Go about 10 meters, then turn right at the kink in the road (with a park on your left). You'll see the hotel almost immediately. If you're coming from Incheon Airport, take the limousine bus and get off at Baiton Hotel. Head left from there (I've included a picture looking at Baiton Hotel from around the coffee shop for reference). Disposable toothbrushes are provided. There's a charging cable by the bed, so you don't need to bring your own. There's also complimentary bottled water in the fridge. Fresh towels are available in the hallway. I'd love to make this my regular hotel, but I have one crucial request regarding safety. There's only one indoor staircase, and items were left on it, as well as a lot of trash waiting for collection outside (perhaps because it was a weekend and collection wasn't scheduled). This made me very concerned about safety. Please do not place anything on the staircase, as it's an evacuation route. While there were evacuation tools in the room, they wouldn't be usable in an emergency if the instructions weren't in Japanese. As for the trash outside, please move it to another location until collection, or at least put it in non-combustible containers. Everything else was perfect, but my profession makes me sensitive to safety, and the apparent lack of safety awareness was truly disappointing. I sincerely hope you will consider implementing solutions."

"The hotel was located in the middle of Myeongdong just a few minutes from the main shopping street, with a bus and metro station only a 2 minute walk away. It’s also one of the more affordable options, making it both convenient & budget-friendly. It was the perfect base for exploring Seoul with ease. The rooms were clean & had all the necessary amenities. The receptionist was incredibly kind, very welcoming & helpful. He even made personalized stamps with our names for us to use during our stay, which was such a thoughtful touch. I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"This hotel offers a compact, goshiwon-style setup that is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. While the room is very small, it is functional enough to have dedicated floor space to fully open a large checked-in suitcase. The property provides convenient amenities like a toothbrush and single-use toothpaste, along with a wide selection of TV channels for entertainment. However, guests should be prepared for a few spatial limitations. The bathroom is a traditional ”wet room” layout without a separate shower enclosure, meaning the entire floor gets wet during use. Additionally, the room only stocks small hand towels rather than full-sized bath sheets. Overall, it serves as a highly sanitary, budget-friendly option that feels like a much cleaner modern version of a standard goshiwon"

"In reality, it was cleaner, more fragrant, and better than the photos. I loved that it was right in front of Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station. There are many restaurants nearby, which is nice, but fortunately, the accommodation isn't on the main road, so it wasn't noisy, and I slept soundly! Haha. If I need to stay somewhere else in the future, I would definitely visit again!"

"I wouldn't recommend it for germaphobes, but the room is spacious, and the location is fantastic! It's close to the station, and there are plenty of restaurants where you can eat alone, as well as Olive Young, Daiso, and convenience stores. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, there's absolutely no problem! Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and towels are self-service, and when I visited, there was staff who could speak a little Japanese!"

"Pros: Located right by Chungmuro Exit 7, with a very well-stocked convenience store downstairs. Cons: The cleanliness needs significant improvement. The electronic lock was a pain to use. While the visible areas of the room were passable, the hidden ones were just… speechless. Even though it had a balcony, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned. There was a full wall of built-in storage, but when I opened the shoe cabinet by the entrance, there was a used towel from a previous guest. The pillowcases were dirty, and the sheets had many stains. While this whole experience was pretty unacceptable, at least they did change everything for us the next day."

"I dropped off my luggage before check-in, and it was already in my room when I checked in. The receptionist might have been Japanese, as it was a relief to be able to communicate in Japanese. The location is close to the station, but it's right in the middle of a lively bar district. I, as a solo female traveler, returned around 1 AM, and there were still plenty of people around because it's a bar area. I was actually grateful for that, as it would have been scarier if it were deserted! haha. As other reviews mentioned, I could hear some noise until about 4 AM, but I was so tired that I just slept through it, so it was acceptable. The bathroom didn't smell at all, which was great! There was a microwave and a kettle, which was convenient for heating up items bought from the convenience store. Overall, I would definitely like to stay here again!"

"I almost feel guilty for how little I paid for this level of luxury. It hits the perfect sweet spot between absolute comfort and unbelievable value. My bank account and my back are both extremely happy with this choice."

"Traveling solo, my main concerns were safety and hygiene. The hotel isn't far from the metro station; even though it's down a small alley, I felt safe walking back alone past 11 PM. The hygiene was good, but the shower water temperature was a bit tricky to adjust – it was either too hot or too cold, and hard to get just right. I ended up having to wash quickly. The surroundings were quiet at night, apart from a slight hum from the fridge. The guy who checked me in on the first day was super nice and even let me check in early. And the front desk guy who checked me out on the second day was really handsome, lol!"

"The hotel was easily accessible from the station, and there were several convenience stores nearby. It was also conveniently close to a fashion market. Since it's near a market where you can find character goods and toys at reasonable prices, it would be a good choice for families with children who can walk a bit. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and made our trip enjoyable. There's no elevator, so it might be a bit challenging if you have large luggage, but the room itself was spacious and clean. It's perfect for those who just need a place to sleep after a day of exploring!"
