"The hotel room even has a washing machine and a drying rack! Absolutely amazing! It's perfect for travelers staying for several days. The room is very clean and tidy, small but exquisite, giving off a 'small but perfectly formed' vibe. Although it's a bit far from the sea, you can still catch a partial sea view from the room, and it's a quick walk downstairs to the beach. However, rooms are in high demand; I wanted to extend my stay and tried to book another night the next morning, but unfortunately, the room was already booked, so I had to check out."

"Very happy with this hotel. If you are the type of person that plans to be out exploring Seoul for most of the day and just need a clean and comfortable nights’ sleep to do it all over again, this is the hotel for you. Currently staying here with my brother & we’ve booked two separate rooms, both cozy single rooms. Please note the single rooms can only accommodate one person!! The bed is amazing; you literally melt into the mattress! I’ve taken photos on 0.5 of my room so you get an idea. Very clean. Beautifully designed hotel with multiple areas to chill and relax that includes the lobby area on 2nd floor, lounge area on 18th floor and rooftop garden with amazing views! Excellent reception staff, fab housekeeping and well located; 7 eleven literally round the corner, ATM bank directly opposite and loads of places to eat within walking distance. Very well priced as well. Free gym and self laundry service on the ground floor, so all good with me. This will be my go to hotel when visiting Seoul. Wasn’t too bad getting from ICN airport to the hotel;got airport railroad train, subway then taxi. Didn’t realise until I checked in that there’s an airport limousine service that takes you directly to and from the airport directly and it’s cheap so will be using that service when leaving. There’s nothing not to like about this hotel. Works for me and will definitely book on my next visit."

"We booked a triple room, and while it was still quite small, it was enough for three girls. We could even open three 24-inch suitcases, though it made the aisle a bit crowded. The bathroom was actually pretty spacious. The room and beds were small, with not much storage space, so we ended up using the windowsill. The toiletries were L'Occitane, which was a nice touch! We took the 6015 airport bus directly to Gongde Station. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, several other hotels nearby, and if you walk a little further, you can get to Fritz Coffee. There are quite a few good food options around if you explore a bit. It's also close to the subway, so transportation is convenient."

"This location is perfect for a super short weekend trip if your sole purpose is to see a show at KSPO Dome, with no sightseeing plans. From Seolleung Station, it's just one stop on Line 6 to Seonjeongneung, where you can transfer to the Line 9 express to Olympic Park (be aware that if you're taking the subway to the airport, it's the same line but in the opposite direction, and it's best to avoid rush hour as it gets incredibly crowded). First, the pros: The front desk staff can communicate in English. The bathroom provides disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and basic toiletries. There's also a convenient check-out process, and the accommodation terms are printed in multiple languages for easy reference, making it generally foreigner-friendly, especially for introverts. Within walking distance, there are at least two or three convenience stores, ensuring you can grab hot food even when returning late, which is reassuring. The downsides are that getting to and from the airport isn't convenient; it would be a real headache if you're in a hurry. Also, fully sealed windows inevitably affect hygiene; without regular ventilation and natural sunlight, bedding is more prone to breeding bacteria. So, if you're traveling during the coldest or hottest times of the year and need to stay for more than two nights, this is likely not the optimal choice (you'll either be cold during showers or hot while sleeping, which can be quite uncomfortable)."

"The location is fantastic, right next to the airport shuttle, subway, and bus stops. For a hotel in Japan or Korea, the bathroom is quite spacious. The service is great, and the room is clean and tidy. It's a bit on the smaller side though; we could barely open two 28-inch suitcases flat on the floor, and they did block the way a bit. There's also a famous 40-year-old ginseng chicken soup restaurant right across from the hotel."

"I was very satisfied with my stay here. The hotel environment was clean and tidy overall, with a simple yet elegant decor. The public areas were meticulously maintained. The room was spacious with excellent natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were complete. The bathroom was clean and odorless, and the soundproofing was also good, allowing for a very peaceful night's rest. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and polite, handling check-in and check-out quickly. Their service was professional and thoughtful. The location is convenient for getting around, with plenty of amenities nearby for dining and shopping. It offers great value for money and exceeded my expectations. It was a very pleasant stay, and I highly recommend it. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip."

"The hostel is conveniently located right above the Kyochon Chicken building, just a left turn from Exit 6 of Dongdaemun Station. The only downside is it's easy to miss. Both the common areas and private rooms are very clean. In the private room, I could open my suitcase, and there's space under the bed for luggage and shoes. The windowsill by the bed was also spacious enough for a large backpack. The room had a full-length mirror, 4 power outlets, and even a spare adapter and charging cable. The shower had a separate wet and dry area. As a solo female traveler, I felt much safer knowing all guests are women. Private rooms are accessed by key card, so remember to take it with you when you leave, or you'll be locked out. There's a phone next to the check-in machine outside the hostel where you can call the person in charge to get a new key card issued. Once a new card is issued, the old one immediately becomes invalid, so be careful not to grab the wrong one, or you'll be locked out again. I would definitely consider staying at this hostel again on my next visit!"

"The location was fantastic. It's directly connected to Yongsan Station and I'PARK Mall, which made shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. The room was also clean and comfortable. However, it was a bit disappointing that the pool required an extra charge even for guests. "Pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The service was excellent (you can choose your pillow at the front desk), and there are water dispensers and ice machines in the hallways. It's only a 3-minute walk from Anguk subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. Gyeongbokgung Palace is also within walking distance. This place is perfect for first-time visitors to Seoul who want to hit the main attractions. However, if you're planning on shopping in Gangnam or Seongsu, it might be a bit far. If you're traveling with elderly guests, you can ask the front desk for a non-slip mat (as the rooms have bathtubs, not walk-in showers)."

Aside from breakfast, which wasn't great (though I usually stay in 5-star hotels or above), this Mercure was actually pretty good. I personally prefer more modern decor. It was easy to find for taxis and close to a food street, so quite convenient. However, the smartest move would be to skip breakfast and avoid a balcony room for the best value. A balcony is just one square meter and not really useful, and breakfast is better at the convenience store outside.

The location is fantastic! Although the room was small, the layout was very efficient. I was surprised they even managed to fit a bathtub and had a separate wet/dry area in such a small space – only in Japan/Korea! The great location meant I could pop back to the hotel to drop off my shopping, which saved a lot of time. Plus, if you cut through the Olive Young store next door, you can get to the other side of the street easily. When checking out, you can use the self-service machine on the first floor, which is super quick. Cars can pull right up to the entrance in the morning and evening. At other times, you have to walk a short distance, but overall, it's very convenient – a one-stop shop for eating, shopping, and exploring!

This is not the first time I’ve stayed at this hotel, and everything has always been excellent — but not this time. It all started at check-in, when we were given a different room than the one we had booked. However, thanks to the reception staff, the issue was quickly resolved. Then we noticed that the toilet smelled of smoke, even though the room was supposed to be non-smoking. We informed the staff, and over time the smell became less noticeable. Housekeeping was done daily, and the staff responded promptly to all our requests. These minor inconveniences did not spoil our stay. We will definitely come back again.

It was very nice hotel. Room was big enough for 4 people and 2 beds were also big enough to sleep. ( 2 queen )There were big fridge, freezer, washing machines and dryer. ( no soap) Amenities were only shampoo, conditioner and body soap. The hotel is located between Myeongdong exit 10 and Chungmuro. The hotel has wow pass machine and convenience store. Staffs were nice and room was clean. ( I just see some dust left on the corner of room but it is not big issue ) Over all we loved to stay here and if we have chance, we would like to stay again.

The room is small and a little boring but you’re paying for the location, and it’s comfortable and clean. There’s a good beer bar, Seoulista, on the ground floor. There’s is an aerial walkway connected, which goes to Seoul Station. You can also use the metro Exit 7 (I think) but it will charge you just for walking through if you are coming from the AirPort Express. The breakfast arrangements are quite eccentric, but I had a good breakfast.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my trip to Seoul. The hotel was nice and clean, and the check-in process was fast and smooth, which made arrival stress-free. Although the room was a bit small, it was still comfortable enough for 3 people. One of the highlights is the location, there are plenty of food stalls around the hotel, offering authentic local bites without the overwhelming crowds you’d find in Myeongdong. Personally, I found this area much more enjoyable and relaxing. The metro station is just a 3-minute walk away, making it very convenient to explore the city. Travel Tip: From the airport, take the train to Seoul Station (either normal or express), then transfer to the blue line to Chungmuro Station. If you’re carrying luggage, Exit 5 is the best choice since it has an escalator — just walk toward Starbucks. Otherwise, Exit 7 is a quicker option. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located stay in Seoul.

I really liked this hotel. The bathroom with frosted glass was a nice touch, and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels replaced every day. Toiletries were also replenished daily. The overhead shower was super cool! The hotel's location is fantastic, situated between two metro stations, making it easy to get to central Seoul. There are also plenty of shops, a market, and cafes nearby. Plus, there are mountains close by if you fancy a hike. They even have signs in Russian, and the owner speaks a bit of Russian too! 😊

It's not really excellent but You get what you payed for. Aside from they only provide small size face towels. My only complain is they should no longer provide towels with discolorations and stains. Check in is strict 3pm Check out is 11am No elevator No own kettle inside the room but u can use the pantry on the 4th floor with microwave. Near subway station line9 naebang.

+ Good location 👍🏻 + Compared to shared rooms I stayed at other places, this single room was peaceful for me.  + There is an elevator which is also good because lots of guesthouses don't have elevators. - Shower room is uncomfortable for me. (Though I know that type of showers are very common in Korea and maybe a part of the culture, I just wanted to mention it for other foreign people which may feel uncomfortable.) Showers are next to each other in the same room, seperated by the curtains. - Kitchen and the room was a bit dirty. The chair in the room had stains on it. It would be a better accomodation experience if the property were cleaner.
