For breakfast, sharing one portion between two people is more than enough. You can add a smoothie or a coffee alongside it. After days of heavy food, an easy plant-based breakfast is exactly what you want in the morning. It felt like a reset.
The room is clean and comfortable. We spent time in the hanging chair, we didn’t want to get out of bed, the TV is big and the picture quality is good. We genuinely had to push ourselves to go outside.
Piece of Sky at night: good cocktails, the bay lit up below, live saxophone. I don’t know where else in El Nido you get all of that at once.
That’s the stay. Worth it.”"

"This is a simply wonderful hotel with included breakfast. We always had the cheese omelet, highly recommended!
The rooms are clean, the air conditioning works well, and there was hot water throughout our stay. They cleaned our room as needed. It's very close to the port and the bustling main street, but you can't hear the noise from there, it's very peaceful."

"I really liked the hotel and the beach itself. There are sun loungers, showers, toilets, and a small pool within the glamping area. Vendors aren't allowed on the property, so you won't be bothered. It can be a bit noisy in the room in the evenings/at night due to nature sounds – some might not like it, but we found it pleasant to fall asleep to. The mountain view from the room is beautiful, but if you look down, it's a bit of a swamp and a parking lot – not so great.
Breakfasts are modest, machine coffee costs extra, and the fruits and vegetables are bland (except for the mango). Food and drink prices aren't cheap, but everything is good quality. Right outside the fence on the beach, there are several cafes, shops, and massage places.
Upon check-in, we received some welcome gifts: 2 bottles of water, apples, nuts, instant noodles, and a shell necklace! And upon check-out, we got some small pastries.
Transfers to/from El Nido airport or to the town center cost 1800 PHP for a minivan.
Pros: Large, nice-looking rooms, plenty of towels, spotless white linens.
Cons: Weak shower pressure, no handheld showerhead (only a rain shower), and no place to dry clothes."

"Our experience at Lime Resorts was superb! Just staying at the Sky Lounge, taking a dip at the infinity pool, enjoying the unli popcorn and ice cream or ordering delicious foods and drinks at their resto, while watching the majestic sunset is already an excellent experience. The sunset view is breathtaking! The staffs are also nice and accommodating. Upgrading our room for a bigger one for free is highly appreciated. The buffet breakfast offers a variety of food, I enjoy the salad and pastries the most. Thank you Lime resort for making our stay a memorable one 💗"

"One of the best location options in El Nido - tucked away from the noise and hustle of the main streets, but less than 1 minute walk to those streets. The staff are incredibly helpful and pleasant, organising tours, restaurant reservations and laundry service. Everything worked like clockwork and was inexpensive. Modern accommodation and design.
The rooms aren't huge, and the hot water could be a bit hotter, but you don't really want too hot of a shower given the temperatures outside!"

"This hotel is really, really great, I loved it! Even though I stayed in a shared four-person room, it didn't bother me at all because almost every day (from morning till evening) we were out on excursions or somewhere else. The staff are friendly and caring, rooms are cleaned daily, and the showers and toilets are communal (but there are also a few separate stalls just for women). The breakfasts are delicious and varied – I would fly back to the Philippines again just for these breakfasts! Because here, I only had truly good food three times: first in Cebu, second at the hotel's breakfast, and third at an Italian restaurant in El Nido, that's it! In the shared room, you get a towel, a locker with a lock, and a large bed (unlike other similar hotels). I'm thrilled!"

"The hotel looks nice from the outside, but everything inside felt dirty and poorly maintained. Initially, we were put in a room overlooking vents and a noisy street, even though we had specifically requested a quiet room when booking. The hotel was accommodating and moved us to a different room. However, I have to say, the soundproofing is poor; you can hear everything happening outside very clearly. Especially the motorcycles going by and the rooster crowing in the mornings!
The cleaning was terrible – everything was dusty and grimy. And they'll only clean your room if you remember to hang the 'make up room' sign on the door.
Breakfast was a letdown; the selection was very limited. The cheese was awful and clearly the cheapest kind. There was no cold cuts or ham. Breakfasts here felt more like lunch or dinner. You're better off going to local cafes for breakfast.
On the positive side, the location is good, and the pool area is beautiful with a fantastic view.
This hotel might be suitable for a short stay, but definitely keep the aforementioned issues in mind."

"Hotel Cuna is a solid 3-star. The rooms are simple, no frills, but clean and generally fine for staying in El Nido. The staff is a big plus for the hotel: Filipinos are very kind, welcoming, and eager to help.
It's worth noting that some rooms face a farm where chickens and roosters can crow loudly at night – that was my experience. My request to change rooms directly with the hotel was unsuccessful, and contacting them through Trip.com also yielded no results.
The main advantage of the hotel is its rooftop restaurant and bar: the food is very tasty, and there's a stunning view of the city and the sea, especially at sunset. For the rooftop restaurant and the views alone, the hotel is definitely worth considering."

"About Anitsa Resort, we loved it! Perfect hotel that makes your stay in El Nido warm and cozy! Breakfast isn’t a buffet, but every day the menu surprises you with a delicious new option, we absolutely loved it! All the amenities worked perfectly, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They even assisted us with renting tours and bikes to explore the city.
The resort is about 15 minutes from the center, but the location is perfect for visiting all the beaches around El Nido. If we ever return, we would love to stay at Anitsa Resort again!"

AAnna Maria Olsson* Upon arrival, the air conditioning unit in our villa was not properly maintained. The filter was extremely dirty and clogged, causing excessive noise and poor performance. We had to clean it ourselves in order to use it.
* There is little to no mobile signal in the area, and the WiFi connection has been unreliable due to ongoing maintenance, making it very difficult to stay connected.
* There has been significant noise disturbance from construction work directly behind our villa, including the use of loud power tools throughout most of the day over several days.
* We were only informed about a wedding taking place upon check-in. As a result, we were unable to use the sunbeds located outside our villa and had to relocate further away. Also due to the wedding taking place, the hotel had to make many soundchecks during the day before, playing very loud music which made it hard to relax on the beach. The wedding guests (80+ people) were allowed to use the villa next to us, as their designated toilet, which caused a lot of back and forth from the weddings guests right by our villa. This made it difficult to relax.
* Additionally, we find that the restaurant prices are quite high compared to the quality of the food. For example, breakfast at 800 PHP did not meet basic expectations, as even simple items such as cheese and ham for bread were missing. I’m also sorry to say that the chicken adobo is tasteless, and on the menu it says the menu has been created by a Michelin chef. My mango daquiri tasted only of alcohol, so I had to ask for one with less alcohol. As a certified bartender, that is unacceptable. Even the French fries were not done properly as they needed more time in the oven (I think that’s what they used to make them at least, I would prefer if they were fried in oil though).
However, very good mango shakes.
* We would also like to mention that the access roads leading to the property are in very poor condition. The roads consist mainly of uneven gravel and are full of deep potholes, which make driving quite difficult and uncomfortable. In some areas, it is only possible to drive at around 10 km/h due to the condition of the road.
We believe that the roads would greatly benefit from proper maintenance or being paved with cement, as this would significantly improve accessibility and the overall guest experience.
We understand that some of these issues may be temporary or unforeseen, but taken together they have had a significant impact on our stay.
However I would really like to highlight Hazel from the reception at the Nacpan Beach Villas. She was really sweet and thorough when we had any questions and went the extra mile for us. She deserves a raise. Please let her know we were really happy with her and really appreciated her.

MMichael BrightThis hotel and its staff deserve a 10+ rating for excellence, staff very attentive customer care driven and friendly. Elmer and Cris stood out as exceptional. The hotel and grounds were clean beautiful and had extra amenities that made our stay relaxed and comfortable. The location is a 2 minute walk to Lio beach and all the restaurants along the beach. Elmer the van driver drove us to the beach area and recommended a good restaurant. The hotel will also transfer you to the airport which is very close. I would recommend Peace Loo over any other hotel in El Nido and will definitely return on future travels. The best of the best!

GGuest UserI didn’t feel like leaving! This place is a gem. It’s nestled on top of a small hill with mind blowing views. The room (Joglo 5) had spectacular views from the balcony and was very well equipped. It was clean, comfortable, bright, and spacious. The infinity pool and restaurant were the icing on the cake. Beautiful sunsets and vibe! Service was also excellent - thanks to Wilma, RV, Maggie, Lemer, Geo, Lester, Ellen, the Chef, and all others!

The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort.
The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

GGuest UserThe hotel was in a super nice area of El Nido, and therefore I would highly recommend. But the hotel itself was too expensive for what you get, the room smelled like urine and when we told the staff they’d put in a air refresher that gave of a really strong sweet smell for a couple of hours and after that the urine smell was back again so they tried to cover it instead of fixing the problem. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. You should not eat or drink at the hotel as it is crazy expensive and you can get very nice food/coffee at a 2 minute walk.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located just beside the public market, its not a luxury hotel but its good enough , rooms are spacious, quiet . Staff are friendly, its a km away or 100 pesos tricycle ride to the the lively Tourist area where you can join the island tour. But near the hotel there is also a port area name Curong Curong where you can just walk and join the island tour. Breakfast is not bad, Rice, bread, eggs, veggies and Two kind of meat that changes everyday. Not much restaurant around the hotel area, Town Square has a ton of restaurant.

GGuest UserThis is a bit of a special place. The hotel is right at its own private beach. It‘s very isolated from everything else which can be nice if you don‘t want to leave the hotel at all. We wanted to go to the town some evenings and that is a bit of a challenge. You first have to take a golf car (which only runs until 10pm) and then change into a tricycle. The tricycles won‘t go directly to the hotel because the last bit of the road is too steep and winded. The other option is to walk along the beach for 20 minutes instead of using the golf car for the last bit, which we did a couple of times. It‘s not too dangerous but there are stray dogs.
The food in the hotel restaurant was Italian and just ok, nothing amazing. The service was not great. Two women seem to know how to run a hotel but the rest of the staff were rather useless. They often seemed annoyed, even when we were just ordering food. We once asked about the zipline that is literally next door and they didn‘t know anything about it (price, time, how to get there). They organised a tour for us, which was great, but messed up the booking somehow so the tour guide thought we were only two people instead of four, which resulted in less food for lunch. And then they even charged us more for the tour.
Our room was fine. Clean and no bugs. Yes, you can hear everything but we didn‘t mind that. The room was only made up on request though.
The whole area is beautiful but there were a few things that annoyed us. So I wouldn‘t come back.

GGuest UserI'm not picky and we travel a lot, so I have plenty to compare with. But here, I was shocked by the sheer number of negatives all in one hotel. We stayed in two different room categories (including a suite).
For its price range, this hotel was a huge disappointment (this is our third hotel on Palawan, all located near beaches, and the prices were more or less the same). Inside, even on the bed, there were tiny ants crawling around. Breakfast isn't included, and the rooms aren't cleaned. Once, throughout our entire vacation, I asked them to clean the room and change the bedding. They came by evening, but they just took the towels and didn't replace them, saying everything was being washed 🙃. After showering, I had to dry myself with a dirty t-shirt because nothing in the room dries properly. The Wi-Fi constantly cut out, and for the last few days, it didn't work at all. Overall, it was a complete misunderstanding; the only saving grace was the ocean view from the room!
There was mold on the walls, I even saw spots on the mattress. The extractor fan in the shower didn't work at all, the toilet seat was loose, and there was hardly any water pressure in the sink and shower, just a tiny trickle (I assume for economy — even in the suite) – I've attached photos (notice how the faucet is installed). On the last day, the air conditioning even started leaking.
There's no safe, and the door lock sometimes fell out with the key, and I had to reinsert it into the hole.
If you want a somewhat comfortable stay, only book the suite; the price difference isn't that much.
The TV is in the photos, but it's not actually there, though we didn't need it anyway.

GGuest UserIt's a nice place in front of the beach but the beach and water are not as beautiful as in the islands. I would recommend it if you want to open your eyes and see the beautiful sea and mountains around. The only bad thing is there is not a nice lobby where you can sit, chill and wait for your transportation. :)
