"The self-check-in was really convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was very spacious. The surroundings were quiet, like a country lane. Surprisingly, even in cold weather, it wasn't damp or chilly. I really enjoyed my stay."

"The bustling downtown and market are just a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Nearly all the staff were incredibly friendly and professional in answering our questions. This trip marked our seven-month anniversary, and it added so many wonderful memories as we head towards our eighth month together. Upon check-in, the hotel learned we were celebrating our anniversary and thoughtfully upgraded us to a mountain-view room. The in-room welcome drinks were incredibly generous, featuring mini beers, plum wine, coke, and Pocari Sweat – essential for rehydration after a soak; they even included face masks to pamper us while we enjoyed the in-room hot spring bath. All the room's fixtures and fittings were new and high-quality: a Toto washlet, a Panasonic 1400 nanoe hairdryer, a thoughtful wooden gua sha massage comb, and hyaluronic acid-infused shower gel that left skin feeling smooth and soft. What truly amazed me were the double-layered automatic curtains (even in the room's private hot spring area!). The double room's bathtub was spacious enough for up to four people – a very comfortable size. In the afternoon, the lobby offered preserved fruits and freshly brewed tea, perfect for a relaxing break after a dip in the outdoor public hot spring. After dinner, they provided handmade kumquat-flavored tofu pudding, and it was unlimited – so generous! (There's a lovely staff member in the lobby, Tina, who's a treasure trove of recommendations for local food and sights; don't hesitate to ask her for her secret list of must-try places!) Last but not least, I highly recommend trying the hotel's breakfast, especially the freshly blanched beef soup. Even my boyfriend, who grew up in Tainan, the home of beef soup, couldn't stop raving about it. *If you're planning a weekday visit like we did and want to try some local famous eateries, be sure to check their opening hours in advance. Many popular spots are only open from Friday to Sunday or during specific hours, like mornings until 2 PM. (Luckily, you can find a lot of food on Uber Eats!) Heartily recommend!"

"Although the location is a bit remote, the overall environment is great. The service is also great. They also provide instant noodles, snacks, drinks, ice cubes and coffee machines. The room is large and clean. The only drawback is that the sofa in the room is only single. Overall, it is not recommended."

"The Mu'en International (old building) feels a bit dated compared to the adjacent Mu'en Far Eastern (new building), which is noticeable in the in-room hot spring tub and shower facilities. However, the rooms in the old building are more spacious than those in the new one. Both buildings share the same breakfast area and parking lot. This time, I stayed in a 4-person room in the old building. The room was large, and so was the hot tub. Just a heads up, the slippers provided in the room aren't disposable, so if that bothers you, it's more convenient to bring your own."

"The customer service staff were excellent! They even upgraded me to a high-floor, ocean-view room this time. The room was quite spacious. While parking in the hotel basement is limited, the hotel thoughtfully noted the sunrise time on the room key card sleeve for the next day."

"Stayed two nights in a row, the bed was comfortable, there was an elevator, and it was convenient to walk around the park. There was no breakfast on the second night, not because there were too few guests and they didn't cook. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the convenience store nearby. There was no refrigerator in the room, so going downstairs was a bit of a hassle. You had to buy bread for the next day. The air conditioner in the room was dripping for two nights. The bathroom pipes were very smelly. I saw the reviews of previous guests on Google, but why is it still smelly? The soundproofing is not good. The kids upstairs started jumping around at 6am and didn't stop until after 7am for breakfast. Next time I'll ask to stay on the top floor. I was told that there was no cleaning required, only water and tea bags at the door, but I only got water. I didn't have to pay for tea or coffee bags."

"In the mountains, it becomes incredibly quiet at night. Dinner is served from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and it's advisable to pre-order. Nighttime activities include lighting sky lanterns, making Chinese glutinous rice balls, and enjoying a nice supper. The giant bubble maker and the two adorable meerkats are the highlights of the experience. However, the farm was undergoing maintenance, so caution is advised. During our visit, we only spotted two geese and one rooster in the farm, and we were chased by bees. We encountered difficulty with the room door, as it required considerable strength to open or close. Additionally, ants were prevalent throughout the room. Overall, it was a memorable stay. Highly recommended for large groups, big families, and company retreats. It was just the two of us, and it felt quite quiet and lonely at night."

"This was my second stay at the Wellspring Suite with a King bed at Hotel MU Jiaoxi, and it continues to maintain an excellent standard. The room's layout and flow are well-designed, the king bed is comfortable, and the in-room hot spring bath is incredibly convenient. The water temperature is stable, making for a truly relaxing soak, which is the main reason I chose to stay here again. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; it felt fresh and spotless upon check-in. The hotel's public facilities and environment are still well-maintained. During peak times, some facilities require a short wait, but the overall management is orderly. The staff are friendly and always ready to assist with any issues promptly. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options and is replenished quickly, maintaining a good standard even on this second visit. The hotel's location in Jiaoxi town is very convenient for transportation, making it easy to go out for meals or shopping. Overall, both of my stays have been excellent experiences, making it a great choice for travelers looking to relax and enjoy hot springs in Jiaoxi. I would definitely consider returning in the future."
