"I stayed here for three days, and every staff member and the owner remembered all my preferences and tastes, showing incredible attention to detail. All the rooms were clean, tidy, and cozy, feeling just like home. I felt so comfortable and welcome, and they even provided a lot of support and insights for outdoor activities. My three-day stay here was truly wonderful. I'll definitely be back and will recommend it to my friends. The place has a lively, authentic atmosphere, with plenty of people around in the evenings. I highly recommend it! If you're visiting Siguniang Mountain, this is a great spot to stay and dine – definitely worth checking out and saving. As a casual visitor, I can tell the owner has been running this place for many years with great dedication, making all the establishments feel so warm and comfortable."

"This was easily one of my favorite stays in Sichuan. The view was just so amazing in the room that on my last day, I stayed in my room until check out time. But also, the service of the staff was very good. The young lady at the reception was very on the ball and attentive to what the guests needed. This location is a little far from the scenic areas but they can help you arrange transport for RMB15 one way. Just make sure you add them on WeChat so that you can arrange with them. I would honestly come back to Siguniang just to stay in this hotel because it’s so relaxing. Not much food options around but the can order dinner from their kitchen - just take note that the portions are huge so if you’re a solo traveler, just take 1 dish."

"I chose this guesthouse because I've recently been getting into mindfulness meditation. The concept of a 'meditation hotel under the snow-capped mountains' really resonated with me. The person who came up with this idea is a lovely woman who also owns the hotel. It's a shame I didn't get to meet her during my two-day stay, but I was lucky enough to be there during a heavy snowfall. It snowed at night and cleared up during the day. Some people wait a whole year for snow and don't get it, yet we stumbled upon it. On the flip side, some travelers came during bad weather and couldn't even see the snow-capped mountains. I recall a quote in the guesthouse's elevator that said, 'Meet the snow-capped mountain in your heart.' In truth, the mountain is already within us, yet people are always searching for the one they can see with their eyes. This guesthouse offers every convenience you could possibly imagine, and then some. I won't list them all here, but I urge my friends to choose this guesthouse without hesitation."

We particularly appreciated the provision of an oxygen bottle and device, a testament to the establishment's consideration for guests' well-being. "The room environment is excellent, and the service is good. The bedding is very comfortable to sleep on. However, since it's a newly opened place, there's still a slight smell in the room. You can get bath bags at the front desk for soaking, which is very hygienic. All the staff are welcoming and provide great service. We had both meals at the hotel; the food was tasty and reasonably priced. A significant drawback, though, is that this guesthouse doesn't have a smoking ban, which is very unwelcoming for non-smokers. Many people smoke in common areas (like the restaurant and elevator lobby), and the smell is really strong. On top of the potential for oxygen deprivation at high altitudes, having to inhale second-hand smoke is quite unpleasant. I hope management addresses this and stops providing ashtrays that encourage smoking. I also hope all guests would be more considerate! Please go to an outdoor corner to smoke to avoid bothering others."

"Overall This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back. The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10. 🏨 Room — 10/10 Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners. 🧹 Cleanliness — 10/10 Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept. 👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 10/10 The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine. 📍 Location — 9/10 A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised. 🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10 The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings. 🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10 Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day. 🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10 The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy. The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu."

"Our first stop in Western Sichuan was Mount Siguniang. I initially thought the guesthouses in the village wouldn't be great, but this place completely changed my mind! We stayed in a room with a hot spring bath, offering a stunning 270° view directly facing the mountains. Lying there and watching the snowy peaks was absolutely incredible! Both breakfast and dinner were freshly prepared on-site, using local ingredients and authentic local cooking methods. The food was genuine and heartwarming. At a relatively low altitude of 2900 meters, the entire guesthouse is equipped with oxygen supply, constant temperature radiant floor heating, and humidifiers. This ensured we had a blast during the day and slept soundly at night. They also have a large courtyard and a viewing platform. Five-star satisfaction, I'll definitely be back! Highly recommend for team building or gatherings, as the rooftop terrace offers unparalleled views."

"The hotel has a great design and is very comfortable to stay in, with excellent bedding. Plus, there's underfloor heating, so it's not cold at all. The private hot spring on the balcony is also very relaxing. Most importantly, you don't have to worry about altitude sickness. They provide a free oxygen machine, which is a big plus since I noticed many other hotels charge for theirs. Highly recommended, it's really good!"

"The room was quite spacious; we could easily fit three 24-inch suitcases under the TV cabinet without them getting in the way. The bed was really comfortable, and the pillows, which felt like latex, were excellent. The in-room oxygen supply was a crucial feature, as the altitude in Siguniangshan accommodations is around 3200 meters. Without it, sleeping well at night would have been difficult. We were also lucky that the hotel is very close to the health center, just two kilometers away, a six-minute drive. This was a lifesaver when my companion experienced altitude sickness (note: navigate to Siguniangshan Town Health Center, then go down one more bend to reach the actual hospital entrance. Oxygen is available during hospital hours, but only for emergencies at other times). The front desk staff, especially one young man, provided exceptional service. He was incredibly enthusiastic and gave us containers so we could pack breakfast for my companion who was suffering from altitude sickness. When we left, he even gave us Coke and glucose, which was incredibly thoughtful. Although we didn't get to see Siguniangshan itself due to weather and health issues, Western Sichuan is indeed beautiful. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance. For now, I'll just share some photos from other scenic spots."

The facilities are new and stylish, from the smart home features to the high-quality bedding and bathroom amenities, every detail exudes a sense of subtle luxury. The hygiene was impeccable; every corner of the room was spotless, making for a very comfortable and reassuring stay. The service was an added bonus; the butler communicated with us beforehand about our check-in needs, and responded quickly to any requests. The environment is absolutely stunning, nestled by mountains and water. The window offers a breathtaking view of a ten-mile landscape, like a picturesque scroll. In the mornings, you can watch the mist embrace the green hills, and at night, listen to the flowing water and insects – it's the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. I'll definitely be back!"
