"We had a fantastic stay at Bhundhari Resort & Villas Samui. It offers excellent value for the price! Our room was well-equipped with a clean bathroom, bathtub, and a lovely private outdoor area. The main pool and the resort grounds were beautiful and very well-maintained. A huge plus was the ability to rent scooters directly from the resort at very fair prices, which made exploring the island incredibly easy. Highly recommended for a budget-friendly yet comfortable stay in Samui!"

"I stayed at Arkbar for 2 nights and unfortunately, it was a very mixed experience. The positives: The location is definitely great—right on the beach and close to everything in Koh Samui. Check-in was quick and easy. The facilities, especially the pool and beach area, are nice and lively during the day. The negatives (and they outweigh the positives): Noise: Sleeping here is nearly impossible unless you’re planning to be out partying all night yourself. It’s not just the music (which I expected), but the guests—people shouting in the hallways at 3am and again at 6am, waking me up both nights. Cleanliness: Honestly unacceptable. The bed sheets were stained, had hairs, and even bugs. The bathroom was filthy—handprints on the mirror, used cotton buds on the floor, and grime in the shower. I called to have it cleaned, but they only changed the bed sheets. Customer Service: When I told the manager about the room at checkout, her response was just “sorry, no one told me,” which doesn’t really cut it. Only after I mentioned leaving a review did she offer a “free breakfast voucher”—which was a joke, as it didn’t even cover a full meal and drink. Restaurant: Speaking of food, I tried the avocado toast with poached eggs and it was the blandest thing I’ve ever tasted. Overpriced, underwhelming, and disappointing overall. No discounts for guests at their own bar or restaurant either, which felt stingy considering the prices and what you get for it. For the amount of money I paid, this was absolutely not good enough. Unless you only care about partying and don’t plan to sleep or care about cleanliness, I’d recommend staying elsewhere. Would not recommend."

"We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always helpful throughout our visit – it's clear that hospitality is a top priority here. The hotel's culinary offerings were also impressive overall: the food was delicious, varied, and of high quality. The beautiful pool area is perfect for relaxation and is meticulously maintained. A definite highlight for us was the stunning sunset we could enjoy from the property – simply unforgettable! One minor downside was the breakfast: while perfectly adequate, the selection and quality could be improved slightly. Nevertheless, we would return anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel was fantastic clean large room bedding pillows and towels clean and fluffy. The restaurant next door the green leaf fantastic food and drinks and very affordable. I will say though when I arrived at reception the lady behind counter was anything but friendly. There was another lady who obviously worked there and she helped me up a lot of stairs to get to my room. She was so friendly. Perhaps it may of been a bad day for the other lady. I would stay again but just remember if you are elderly there is no lift and a lot of stairs ."

"Booked a sea view room, located on a hillside, and the views were absolutely unbeatable. The room was also spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning worked great. The breakfast buffet offered different options every day, and we also got a free hour of kayaking. The restaurant had a different themed dinner set menu every night, and the food was delicious. Very satisfied overall."
