"Excellent place to stay to explore Zurich. Train station is only few minutes walk and there is short ride to Zurich HB. Hote also provides day passes for public transportation which is really nice and convenient. There is also shuttle to airport, but its not free. We are happy we choosed stay there and we will likely stay again in the future"

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Swiss National Museum, and within walking distance of ETH Zurich, making it convenient to get anywhere. We arrived in Zurich from Interlaken earlier than scheduled, and the front desk kindly arranged a room for us before the official check-in time, which we greatly appreciated. The bar on the ground floor is very popular, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of dried fruits. There was a bottle of drinking water in the room, but we had to contact customer service to get slippers. Unfortunately, outside our window was a construction site with a building under construction, causing a lot of noise."

"The room was nice. It's not far from the airport, and the shuttle service was a convenient bonus. Since I had an early flight, the hotel proactively offered a packed breakfast, which was a thoughtful and warm gesture."

"This hotel is a great option if you need to stay near the airport the night before your flight, or when you first arrive. The hotel's shuttle bus is very convenient; it's free to the hotel but there's a charge for the return trip to the airport. It's a standard business hotel, and given the prices in Switzerland, I think it's a decent choice even if you have to put up with the slight inconvenience of traveling to nearby areas. The photo was taken when we walked to a nearby station to go to Bern. My mom and I managed the walk with our suitcases. I'm highlighting these points because they were important to me, and I hope this helps others."

"Booked this hotel for the location & the transit selection, Kloten Balsberg Train station & Bahnhof Balsberg Tram station just minutes away. Hotel also provide Free shuttle bus to airport, very convenient to travel in & out of city, remember to get ZVV zone 3 day pass, Zurich day ticket doesn't cover the trip to this hotel!! Hotel room is good, management did their best to keep this 1st of its kind for Mövenpick brand hotel alive & up-to-date. But there are some down sides! Some rooms might experience bad Wifi connection, washroom need some upgrades, like the bathtub shower, less cloth hangers, Wear and tear aged furniture, overall it is the hotel will get you well rest!! Didn't try it's breakfast, maybe next time. Tried to book through Accor, but it's price was higher than third party companies, it is very weird!"

"Helvetia Hotel exceeded my expectations, offering a much better experience than suggested by the photos on the booking site. The place is impeccably clean—even the shower screen was nearly spotless. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s rest. The bathroom was brightly lit and generous in size, with shampoo, soap and body lotion in different glass bottles. I particularly appreciated the cozy common room near the lobby, where guests enjoy a cup of Nespresso or tea, courtesy of the hotel. The location is convenient, with a large supermarket just a one-minute walk away and at least two cafes within walking distance. However, it’s about a 15-minute walk from the main station, which might be a consideration for some travelers. Overall, it’s a solid choice, and I’d definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Zurich."

"The room was quite small, making it difficult to open large suitcases comfortably. There's a free shuttle service to the East Wing. However, the facilities were decent. The location is a bit out of the way, but it's well-connected by nearby train and bus services."

"The hotel itself is decent, and the restaurant is fantastic. Buuut... I chose this hotel specifically for the pool, and they wanted to charge us around 33 per person. I didn't think that was right; usually, if there's an extra charge, it's clearly stated. I was disappointed because my son really wanted to go swimming. Thanks."
