"The biggest highlight of this hotel is its excellent location. Zurich's city center is quite small, perfect for a city walk. It's only a 5-minute walk from Zurich Main Station and a 10-minute walk to Bahnhofstrasse, a street bustling with luxury brands (next to Hermès is the top-rated Zeughauskeller restaurant, I highly recommend their pork knuckle set meal; there's also a LADERACH chocolate shop, their hazelnut chocolate is amazing). Lake Zurich is a 20-minute walk away, and a boat trip is incredibly enjoyable, with the sky and water blending seamlessly, offering natural comfort – 9.2 Swiss Francs for 1.5 hours. Nearby, there are two major Swiss supermarkets, Migros and Coop, making shopping and stocking up very convenient. A bit further away, there's a Lianhua Supermarket offering a full range of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean foods, which is a great relief for those craving Asian cuisine. The hotel rooms are generally very clean, the bathroom is particularly spacious, and the heating is excellent, making for a comfortable stay. The front desk offers complimentary sour green apples every day. The service from the Asian-looking staff was mediocre, but it didn't detract from the overall experience. The overall quality of Swiss people is very high. For example: 1. While navigating to ETH Zurich on the street, my navigation was a bit slow, and as I hesitated, someone immediately came over to ask where I was going and if I needed help. They also told me that ETH is equivalent to MIT in the US. 2. We bought a 24-hour public transport pass (9.4 Swiss Francs, allowing unlimited tram and bus rides within zone 110). Once, when riding a tram, we saw a male passenger running towards it. A female passenger who had just disembarked held the tram door open for him until he got on board."

"1. We stayed at Harry's Home in Zurich and found the rooms very clean and comfortable. 2. The rooms were completely soundproof, so we enjoyed a quiet, restful stay. 3. A great bonus was that the tap water was safe and good to drink straight from the faucet. 4. Everything was well-kept and practical for our time in the city. 5. Overall, it was a really nice place to stay and perfectly suited our needs."

"Pros and Cons Pros: unbeatable location (directly opposite the bus terminal, and only a few minutes' walk from the train station). The room was clean, and they offered complimentary self-service coffee and tea bags. The staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: The room was too small (barely any space left after the double bed was in), especially considering the high price. There was no refrigerator in the room. The lift was tiny, only fitting two large pieces of luggage and two passengers. No kettle was provided in the room. The bathroom and toilet doors didn't have locks, which lacked privacy. As a small hotel, there were no other facilities."

"Great and cozy hotel. I had a nice balcony overlooking inner yard. The design of rooms is different from what you usually get and is very welcoming. Breakfast has everything you would expect from a 4 star hotel, fresh fruit, omelettes, bread selection, salmon and etc. They even give you a bottle of water at checkout, a nice touch."

"What a brilliant find on Trip.com! This hotel completely exceeded our expectations. The rooms were beautifully decorated and carefully thought out, with incredibly comfortable beds and a spotless environment. The front desk staff were first-class—so friendly and helpful. The location is a major highlight. Being right next to a tram stop was perfect, and discovering a large Aldi just a 3-minute walk away made it even better. We stayed in a basic room (114), which had a kettle but no fridge. However, a handy service room on the second floor offered a microwave, plates, and fresh towels if needed. Our room had a balcony which overlooked a woodland. During our stay we had uninterrupted sleep due to very low noise levels and quality blackout curtains. Our 3-night experience was excellent, and we will definitely be back. Thank you, Harry's Home! 💐"

"This hotel was incredibly clean! It had a great location, just one tram ride away from Zurich. I particularly liked the clean bathroom facilities and the fact that there were dishes available, so I could eat food I bought from the supermarket. My only minor complaint would be that the indirect lighting, while stylish, made the room a bit too dark."

"The room is great, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. BUT: upon check-in, I was asked to leave MY CREDIT CARD on file for the duration of my stay! This was despite the room already being paid for and charged to my credit card. Of course, I indignantly refused. Then I was asked to put down a 100€ deposit, which I equally firmly rejected (I didn't even have any Euros on me anyway... it was a spur-of-the-moment idea to be in Zurich!). The justification given was that I might raid the minibar without paying, but it was empty anyway. Mercifully, I was then allowed to check into my room without leaving any deposit."

"The hotel is in the mountains, and it is a bit troublesome to drive. First, you have to park the car in a free parking lot by the swimming pool, and then find a way to get to the train station. It takes about 2 kilometers and a few minutes to take a taxi, and about 11CHF for Uber. It takes about 20 minutes to walk, and there are various slopes. At the train station, you have to wait for the train every half an hour. The one-way ticket is about 4.6CHF per person. After getting off the train at the station, you have to walk for another ten minutes to get to the hotel. Moreover, the hotel’s car only picks up luggage from the train station and not people. It cost nearly 50CHF for two people to go back and forth from the parking lot to the hotel by Uber + train, and we also climbed a lot of slopes. The room was okay, but the window of the room I booked was directly against a wall and there was no view. The view of other more expensive rooms is probably good. If you don’t want to go to the highest place in Zurich to see the scenery and are too lazy to hike, you don’t have to book this hotel."
