"Facilities: The amenities are comprehensive; though the room is small, it has everything you need. Cleanliness: It was kept quite clean. Environment: The location is excellent, and the area around the port is very safe. You can see the Tokyo Tower just a few steps from the hotel—it's absolutely beautiful. Service: The staff are all super friendly, and the breakfast is incredibly rich and varied."

"I've travelled to many parts of Japan for over a decade and in terms of ”a comfortable hotel with no complaints”, this is it for me. No complaints but I do have a small feedback which is to have the breakfast start at 6 or 6.30am for early/business travellers to be able to grab a bite before they can go about their day. Other than that, the room was comfortable and big enough for a small side sofa by the window, there were spaces to open a medium sized cargo bag, the amenities were sufficient and so were the Eco-friendly initiatives (room service, bamboo in place of plastic items), etc. There was also a decent humidifier provided during winter (but that was not enough for me who comes from the tropics), I had my own small humidifier too and still it was kind of dry (not a hotel problem). The view coming up the elevator and at the lobby was majorly impressive - boasting a skyline of both Tokyo Tower against Mt Fuji in the distance; during sunset, it was such a sight to behold. The lobby is big and has lots of rest/seating areas with some small amount of drinks provided from 5am to 10pm and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. The service staff were impressive - knowing a wide range of languages and when they did not, remained unfazed and used translation tools. They were all polite, helpful and the F&B members too, made you feel like you were in some high-end restaurant. The artwork was also very nice to observe all over and if I have the chance to afford this hotel again, I'd do it in a snap. Other important notes are that there is a convenience store at B2 of the same building. Level 3 is a bridge that links you directly to Yurikamome line monorail -and a little further, to the Asakusa and Ginza lines from there. The Ginza honten (main store) Don Quijote is also a 10 to 15 minute walk from there and so are many local eateries (5 min walk) and shopping areas (Carote, 10 to 15mins walk)."

"As a frequent traveler to Japan, I'm quite familiar with Japanese hotels. While the room was small (which is typical for hotels in great locations), it cleverly featured bunk beds, and surprisingly, the beds were quite spacious. It was perfectly fine even with kids! The location is absolutely fantastic. As soon as you step out, there are tons of menus everywhere, and you can walk to anything you want to eat. Ueno itself is a place where you'll never struggle to find food, and personally, I think it's hard to go wrong – everything is delicious. You'll feel like your mouth and stomach aren't big enough! Although the price went up for the last two days, it was understandable given the season and crowd. After all, the location is the value. "Small room with everything that you need. I brought a large luggage so had to get creative with opening and packing and there’s enough space underneath the bed to store it when not in use. Location is good, right by the Narita Limousine bus stop, a 10mins walk away from train station. Take note that the area usually gets noisy by night and during my stay, there were ambulance/fire trucks sirens heard every night, though not for long periods so it was all right. Pleasant stay!"

"The location is excellent, right by the subway station and surrounded by shopping malls, making everything very convenient. However, the room's cleanliness was subpar. I've been itching all over since I returned, which was quite uncomfortable. The biggest problem was that an entire wall in the room was a mirror facing the bed directly. I was genuinely baffled by this design choice; it made me uncomfortable to even sleep. On the bright side, the Western restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel was quite good; their stir-fried vegetables and caramel pudding were particularly well-made. Plus, there's a convenience store right next door. Right across the street, there's also a food street brimming with all sorts of Japanese restaurants. Despite all the options, I still ended up craving Chinese food."

"If 100 is a perfect score, this hotel has its pros and cons. The convenient location and room size both deserve a 90. The shower water pressure and the service from most of the staff are at least an 80. However, you can clearly hear the subway from the room, and even with the small window handle adjusted up or down, the noise persists. During my two-night stay, one night I couldn't fall asleep until the subway stopped running in the middle of the night. The next morning, I was woken up by the noise around 7 AM. I groggily recorded a video, but my phone's microphone near the bed didn't capture it well. The actual sound is about one to two times louder than what's in the video. The room also didn't provide earplugs, which is quite unbearable – I'm deducting 70 points for this. There were noticeable marks on the room walls and the bathroom floor, so I'm taking off another 50 points. The carpet is old and somewhat damaged, and the room looks dingy. For a room that costs over 1500 per night, this warrants another 60-point deduction. So, this is a hotel with overly distinct pros and cons."

"Hotel is good, like the Apa network. There are several more hotels in this network, larger. The rooms are small, ours wasn't quite comfortable, the head of the bed had a shelf that had to hit the head every time and the window closed so that you hit the corners at night too. It could be just curtains. In principle, cleanly, everything is in order."
