The environment here is great. If you're someone who gets cold easily, you can turn on the heating, which is really comfortable. It's located right in the city center, making it convenient to go anywhere! The accommodation is also relatively quiet. I woke up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning, and when I pulled back the curtains, there was warm sunshine streaming in.

We stayed at Qixi Guest House in Dayi, Sichuan with our two kids and chose the River View Loft Room — and it was such a lovely experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved it because they had their own space in the loft area. There were plush toys and books prepared for them, which made it even more special. The loft area also had a warmer, so it stayed cozy and comfortable. The owner is very kind, and the place is managed by two elderly ladies who are incredibly sweet — they reminded us of our own grandmothers. They were so warm, caring, and genuinely helpful. They even helped us book taxis because it can be quite difficult to get a Didi in this area. There are no halal restaurants nearby, so it’s best to bring ready-to-eat food from home. However, they knew we are Muslim and thoughtfully prepared halal-friendly breakfast for us — noodles, fried eggs, vegetables, buns, candy, nuts, and boxed milk. We truly appreciated their effort. Downstairs, there is a shared kitchen area that guests can use. It’s well-equipped with utensils, a microwave, hot water dispenser (similar to Coway), and basic kitchen facilities — very convenient for families. The only downside is that there is no lift. The building has three levels. We stayed on Level 2 (just one flight of stairs up from the ground floor), so it was manageable, but carrying heavy luggage could be challenging. When we checked out, the owner even gave us a small gift bag with a keychain and fridge magnet — such a sweet gesture. From the guesthouse, it takes only about 20 minutes by Didi to reach Xiling Snow Mountain. Just make sure to book your ride 20–30 minutes earlier because it can be hard to get a car in this area. There are small shops nearby if you need drinks or basic items, but by around 9:40 pm, most places close and the area becomes very quiet. The river view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The guesthouse is located at the foothill area with charming ancient China village vibes — peaceful and scenic. The hospitality was truly heartfelt. We also noticed many Malay guests have stayed here before, so they are familiar with preparing Muslim-friendly meals. Overall, we had a very warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for families visiting Xiling Snow Mountain.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel environment was clean and spacious. Upon entering the room, there were no strange odors, and the hygiene was excellent. The bed was just the right firmness, and the soundproofing was good, so it was very quiet at night. The facilities were complete, and the toiletries were all provided and worked well. The staff were attentive and responded quickly to any issues. It's convenient for dining and shopping nearby, and overall, it offers great value for money. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Because I arrived early, the hotel upgraded my room for free. The room was surprisingly good. The shower and toilet were two separate parts, which was great. There were also free tea sets, tea leaves, and incense in the room, which surprised me. It was very cost-effective, and it was not noisy at night. The soundproofing was very good. Except for the pillow, everything else was beyond my expectations.

This is a small yet exquisite guesthouse with great attention to detail. I felt incredibly relaxed during my stay. It offers excellent value for money, a quiet environment, and complete facilities. The host was very friendly, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It's a fantastic option whether you're traveling solo or with friends. Highly recommended! 👍🏻

soo, okay. Check in took a looong time, had to fill out the form with the lady, and it took a while. She seems to have everything under control in the hostel and keeps the space quite clean, even disinfects the slippers after use. People do smoke in the corridor the rooms open to, sometimes sitting directly in front of your door. She gives you the tour of the whole place, shows you what’s what, all the while saying “please, wear this,” absolutely out of context haha. Rooms were nice, had aircon, no storage though and my biggest gripe - no locks. Cannot lock the room in any way, and anyone can walk in to the hostel from the street. I would have liked to know this when deciding on whether to stay here. Nothing suss happened during our stay but I’m not sure I can recommend staying here for this reason especially. Bathrooms also were a bit meh, a squat toilet-shower combo, one for girls, two for men and one mixed. Never had to wait to shower though. Other than that, location was good, Chengdu actually has a good bus system, 82 stops close to the hostel and can take you quite a few places in the center.

The location, though a bit hard to find the reception on the first day ( its on the 18*th floor) is great for checking out Chengdu. There are lots of places to eat near by. Line 1 is only a short walk away or there are serveral buses near by you can catch. If your into walking.... Its only a couple of kms to lots of places. I liked the area as its not as full on as staying in Chunix Rd area. The apartment itself was big and very comfy with a great bed and view. My shower did take forever to drain away and the washing machine door, yes you have your own washing machine in the room, was broken so it took a bit to figure out how to get it open but other than that it was good for the price. USD$24, AUS$33, EURO€20. Also the person on reception was very helpful

I chose this hostel for my trip to Chengdu, and my stay far exceeded my expectations. The location is truly unbeatable. It's very close to the metro station, within walking distance, making it super convenient to get to Wenshu Monastery and all the major city attractions. Getting around was a breeze, and it's great value for money. I had a very comfortable stay. The room was clean and tidy, and the overall environment was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a good rest after a long day of exploring. The amenities were also very thoughtful, with a laundry room and a gym, which was incredibly practical for washing clothes and getting some exercise during my trip. The biggest surprise was the public area on the ground floor. By day, it's a quiet cafe, and by night, it transforms into a bar with a fantastic atmosphere. There are even live singers performing in the evenings – the 'cafe by day, bar by night' concept was right up my alley. Sitting down to listen to music and have a drink melted away a lot of my travel fatigue. I also met many travelers from different places here, including quite a few international guests. Everyone chatted about their travel experiences, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Overall, my experience was fantastic. It's suitable for both solo travelers and those with friends. I honestly recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu.

The transportation here is super convenient! Wherever you want to go, you can get a taxi in seconds. If you don't want to take a taxi, there are many subway lines nearby, so you never have to worry about not being able to explore Chengdu without a car. We've already stayed for three days in a row, and if my vacation wasn't over, I'd definitely stay a few more days.
