Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, with a fridge, smart toilet, smart speaker, and electric curtains in the room. The hotel also has a laundry room and a gym. However, there's only one elevator, so expect a wait during peak hours. The room has a balcony, but the soundproofing could be improved. Hygiene: Up to standard, no obvious flaws, but there's room for improvement. Environment: Located on a corner at a crossroads, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The subway station is right downstairs, and Changying Tianjie shopping mall is just across the street. Very convenient. However, the window faces an office building, which is quite close. Service: Excellent. Quick response and a great attitude. They even upgraded my room proactively. The breakfast was also very good, with a wide variety of options.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right to the left when you exit the northwest gate of Dengshikou subway station. The room offers excellent value for money. Even though the hotel is located above the subway station, and my husband is more sensitive to noise than most, we didn't experience any noticeable noise with the windows closed and the air conditioning on. The staff are all patient and polite 🌟. Front desk staff like Zhiwen and Tongxin were especially thoughtful and attentive. We initially didn't realize that the voice-activated air conditioning automatically turns off when you leave the room, causing the room temperature to rise quickly. We assumed that's how the hotel's central AC worked and didn't want to bother the staff in the evening. The next morning, we casually asked about it, and the front desk promptly helped us adjust it. We stayed on the 7th floor, and Guo Jing, who was responsible for cleaning, was very attentive to guests' needs. The breakfast mainly features Chinese cuisine, and the breakfast chef was also great. Just a short walk to the right from the hotel, there's a Hao Kaixin Shaobing shop, where the standard shaobing for 6 yuan is particularly delicious.

The hotel service was excellent. They contacted us in advance before check-in and sent us the location. The staff even came into the alley to pick us up. It was August and scorching hot, so it was a relief to get inside. My mom and I tried on the qipao dresses provided by the hotel, which we could take to our room to change into and then take photos around the hotel. Everything in the room was complimentary. The air conditioning was very strong. The hotel is very close to Qianmen Street, about a 5-10 minute walk. The front desk recommended a few good places to eat, and the Zhajiangmian (fried sauce noodles) was absolutely delicious – a must-try! The alley is a bit narrow, and there's some renovation going on around the hotel, but it didn't affect our sleep at all.

This is already my third stay here. The hotel is located just a short distance from Exit A of the Sanyuanqiao Subway Station—turn right and back slightly—right next to the Phoenix Galleria, making dining, accommodation, and shopping extremely convenient. The room is compact and cozy. The bed is super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Moreover, the hot water for the shower is more reliable than in many five-star hotels, which really helps wash away fatigue. Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00, and a late-night snack is available from 21:00 to 22:09. You can really tell the owner puts a lot of heart into running this place. I'll definitely stay here again on my next business trip.

A friend who was accompanying my daughter to take an exam recommended this hotel to me. I felt very comfortable when I opened the door. I booked an executive double room. The room was large and clean. Both the front desk and the cleaning lady were very enthusiastic and helpful. There was unlimited drinking water in the room. The service was very thoughtful. Next time I have the chance to come to Beijing, this will be my first choice!

Every day, they prepared a foot bath bucket with hot water, mugwort packets, and towels – this service completely won me over! The family suite is perfect for families with multiple kids, and the price is incredibly reasonable. Room service and the lobby staff were excellent. The Jinxiu Museum was a unique touch. Breakfast quality was average, but the chicken noodle soup was delicious. I'm not sure why the mini-fridge in the bar area only ”preserves” items; I felt like the yogurt would go bad in there. Also, the hotel strictly prohibits smoking, but there were too many guests smoking. Every day, the hallway outside our room smelled of smoke, which was a real shame.

The location and cleanliness are wonderful. Right next to the ”Champs Elysees” of Beijing. May I kindly suggest to add a fee to continue proposing the collecting and cleaning which is displayed on the hotel website? It is confusing for guests to see a service proposed and not performed. See hotel website and joint pic of sign to hang on door in Chinese , didn't take a pic of the basket. Also if the receptionist asks you to bring down your dirty laundry basket (placed in the room) to the lobby, it can be perceived as gross by clients as you do not bring dirty clothes in a hotel lobby. Such things are not done and not to be suggested by the receptionist. Finally, most guests on holiday are happy to pay and have laundry done. It is a service we had in other hotels in China free or paid. 2 machines and 2 driers for so many rooms is not enough. Visiting all day(Beijing is huge) and staying up to 1.30 am doing laundry in a queue is tough during holidays. This needs to be corrected or crossed out on the hotel website so clients know beforehand. Overall positive though.

The hotel is located in a hutong (alley) in Dongsi Sitiao, offering an authentic and tranquil Beijing hutong experience. You can easily go for a city walk, and the nearby Dongsi West Street and Longfusi commercial area provide a plethora of dining options. Subway Lines 5 and 6 are conveniently located in the Longfusi commercial area, about a ten-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself has well-equipped facilities, including a laundry room and a mini-gym, and the service is quite attentive. These are the hotel's advantages. On the more average side, the rooms are quite small, and both the bathroom and shower are separate and very compact. Given its location within the Second Ring Road hutongs and being a renovated old residence, this is understandable. However, some of the hotel's policies felt a bit stingy. During the National Day holiday, I booked four consecutive nights at over 1,000 RMB per night, but the minibar and afternoon tea were only complimentary on the first day and not for the following three. This feels unfair to guests staying for multiple nights. Therefore, I would recommend this hotel for those who want to experience Beijing's hutongs, but perhaps only for one night. For longer stays, there are other hotels and guesthouses with better service.

Amazing! We spent five nights staying in a deluxe king room with terrace/balcony at The Purple Horse Hotel in Beijing at the end of June 2026.. The location is excellent. The hotel is situated in the heart of a Hutong which offers a calm quiet and serene experience in the middle of a bustling city, only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The Hutong itself is a great experience, it's safe and friendly and we enjoyed chatting to the locals at the corner shop. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. It's less than two years old and It is finished to a really high standard, the attention to detail is incredible. It felt luxurious with the highest quality furnishings and the bathroom and shower were like something you would find in a spa. Our room had great views over the Hutong and the Beijing skyline and had excellent air conditioning. We had a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner included and it was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant on the top floor. Above that there was an amazing rooftop terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, a cocktail bar and 360⁰ views of the city. There is also a Peking duck restaurant on the ground floor, a gym and a self service complimentary laundry room. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The level of service and the attentiveness of the staff is at a level that we have never experienced before. The staff are super friendly and polite and they are always trying to help. Our room was cleaned to an immaculate level every day and we were often left little gifts and kind notes. The service in the restaurant was great and once again always really kind and friendly, special mention to Nieve for looking after us so well. Anything we needed, any questions we had, the staff really went out of their way to help us and did so with big smiles on their faces and we had fun times in our interactions with them. Everyone had a good level of English, especially the front for house staff and management . If you want a comfortable, clean, modern hotel with great facilities, in a great, safe location and would like staff that will advise and help you and direct you and even organise trips and transport for you, then this is the hotel for you. We would like to thank some of the staff that really went out of their way to help us. Ella and Anduo who organised a print shop for us and helped us find some specific gift shops. Nieve for making us smile everyday in the restaurant. The housekeeping team for making our room so clean, comfortable and amazing every day. We have stayed in hotels all over the world but this one will always stand out for being that little bit different, for being so immaculate and for going the extra mile. We had a very comfortable stay at Manxin Hotel Beijing Tiananmen Wangfujing (北京天安门王府井漫心酒店). The location is probably its biggest selling point — Wangfujing is just a short walk away, with all the major malls, restaurants and shops nearby. Peking Chamber is also just beside the hotel, which is very convenient. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. It wasn’t particularly large, but the space was well designed and had everything we needed, including a smart toilet, separate shower, mini fridge and complimentary drinks. Breakfast was included in our stay, and the hotel also has a gym and complimentary self-service laundry facilities. There are two washing machines and two dryers, so they are shared on a first-come, first-served basis and can get busy. Overall, a really convenient hotel for exploring Beijing. We especially loved being able to walk to Wangfujing and the surrounding malls, then easily return to the hotel to rest before heading out again. Would happily stay here again!
