We stayed at Pakasai for 3 days and 2 nights, and I have to start by mentioning the service. From check-in all the way through check-out, Hakim, Kik & Kor were fantastic. They walked us through the hotel and explained everything in the room, and they even had our room ready an hour before the official check-in time. Everything was handled very efficiently and they made us feel very well taken care of throughout our stay. The main area I think could be improved is the breakfast. The hotel itself is very convenient and we enjoyed our stay, but for a 4-star hotel, I expected a little more attention to the breakfast quality and setup. To be specific, the Koko Krunch-style cereal tasted more like a generic/no-brand cereal, and the drinks at the counter had ice tubes in them but still weren’t particularly cold. The bread basket where the sourdough was kept also couldn’t be closed properly, and there was an opening underneath it, so we noticed small fruit flies around and inside the bread area. The butter was also placed over at the fruit section rather than near the bread and toaster, which was quite an odd setup and not very convenient. The waffles were made in advance, so unfortunately they had already become soggy by the time we took them. The sausages actually tasted really good, but they were extremely salty. These may sound like small things individually, but I think improving them would make quite a big difference to the overall breakfast experience. A few other things we noticed during our stay: The hotel does have quite a lot of mosquitoes during the rainy season. It would be really helpful to provide mosquito repellent spray in each room, especially during this period. We also had some trouble with the hot water when it was raining, as the water wasn’t consistently hot. For Room 1519 specifically, I would recommend checking the sliding-door lock. We couldn’t figure out how to properly lock it despite trying multiple times with the key card. It might also be helpful for staff to explain how the sliding-door locking system works during the room walkthrough, as it wasn’t very intuitive. Lastly, the toiletries/soap are secured inside the bathroom, while the bathtub is outside. This makes it quite inconvenient if you want to use the soap or shower gel while using the outdoor bathtub. It would make much more sense to have an additional set accessible near the bathtub. Overall, we still had a very pleasant stay, and the service from Hakim, Kik & Kor was definitely the highlight. The staff were warm, attentive and efficient. I think with a few improvements to the breakfast experience and some of these smaller room details, the overall experience could be much better and more in line with what you would expect from a 4-star resort.

The overall service was good, breakfast was delicious, and the room amenities were nice. However, there are a few areas for improvement based on our experience: 1. Cleanliness: We found that our toilet seat had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. 2. Delayed Request: Upon check-in around 15:00, we requested a fan for our room. We were out for the entire day, but when we returned late that night, the fan had not been delivered. We had to call reception to request it a second time. 3. Missing Amenities: On our checkout date, we asked for access to a shower or changing area following a tour. Reception kindly directed us to the rooftop pool showers and assured us that amenities would be provided, so we didn't bring our own. However, when we went to use the facilities, no amenities were available. Most of these issues stem from communication gaps and could be handled better. That said, the location was great and made commuting into town very convenient.

Highly recommend! I regretted not booking this place from the start. We initially booked for 2 nights and ended up extending our stay! The location is quiet, and it was super convenient for us since we rented a scooter. I'd suggest just renting a scooter directly from the hotel; it makes drop-off easy, and their scooters are very new. Each room is individual, very clean, and smells lovely when you walk in. Plus, there's a microwave in the room, perfect for heating up food from 7-Eleven! Staying here felt really homey, not like a typical hotel. The staff's service was excellent, and they provide everything like toothbrushes. I absolutely loved it here! A major plus: the shower water here is quite clean; the filter we brought barely showed any change! If I ever come back to Krabi, I'll definitely book this place again!

The hotel service was great! For a room rate of just over 200, what more could you ask for? The hotel itself is a bit old, and the first floor was quite damp, but everything else was good. Especially the front desk staff and the bellhops were very kind. They even helped us take our luggage to the pier without any extra charge, which was really thoughtful. Phi Phi Island is beautiful and definitely worth staying a few days. The Ae Fish BBQ near the hotel was delicious, and there are so many cats on Phi Phi Island!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Amazing Stay at Sofitel Krabi We have had the most wonderful stay at Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, and the whole experience has been absolutely fantastic. The resort itself is beautiful — peaceful, luxurious and surrounded by stunning scenery. The grounds are immaculate, the swimming pool is incredible, and there is such a relaxing atmosphere throughout the entire hotel. It really feels like a true escape. The staff deserve a special mention. Everyone we have encountered has been incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive, always greeting us with a smile and going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The service has genuinely made such a difference. Our room was lovely, comfortable and spacious, and the whole resort is exceptionally clean and well maintained. There is a real attention to detail that you would expect from Sofitel. The breakfast is also excellent, with a great choice of food and something for everyone. However, there were not many vegetarian options available, so it would be wonderful to see a wider selection of vegetarian dishes. This is only a small point, though, and certainly didn’t spoil our stay. Overall, we have absolutely loved our time here. Sofitel Krabi is a beautiful resort with wonderful staff, excellent facilities and a genuinely relaxing atmosphere. We would happily return and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a special stay in Krabi. Good location in front of sea , The breakfast is very good and plentiful. Luggage storage is available. The villa is clean, spacious, and well-equipped with many amenities. The disappointing part is that they do not respond to emails. I had requested to use their car and shuttle service, but my message was never read or addressed. I booked through Trip.com, which forwarded my request directly to the hotel.

I had an exceptional stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort Villa. In my experience, this is the most balanced and comfortable location on the island. Other areas tend to be overcrowded and noisy, especially considering that Phi Phi receives massive daily traffic from Krabi, Phuket, and other nearby destinations. Most visitors are day-trippers or short-term guests, while only a small number stay for a week or longer. For a 5–6 day holiday, this area is ideal. I found a very good deal for this hotel and paid 60 USD per night, which is an excellent price for the overall level, location, and quality of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some construction materials are visibly exposed—cracks, chips, unpainted surfaces, and panels that could be better finished. I booked a twin room with two single beds, but such a room was not available upon arrival. The hotel provided an extra bed free of charge, resulting in a king bed plus a single bed. Space was sufficient, and cleanliness was consistently maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job, working daily and attentively. The air conditioning performs well. The shower is basic, just an open floor without separation, but for this price and for an island with limited logistics, this is acceptable. Electricity works reliably. Wi-Fi exists but only functions near the reception area. Rooms are located higher up the hill, and in my unit the signal did not reach at all. This was the biggest disappointment, as I had to rely on mobile data. Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides a free transfer from the main pier during check-in and check-out hours. We preferred not to rely on the schedule and used long-tail taxis instead: 120 THB per person during the day and 150 THB in the evening. Around the hotel there are many good cafés; walking to the right side of the beach you can find a small, cozy place where we ate regularly without any issues. I would not recommend eating in the main tourist center, where food hygiene complaints are common. The concierge team helps with luggage upon arrival and departure; when arriving by long-tail boat they meet you at the beach and deliver bags directly to your room. The standard tip is 100 THB, which I found reasonable considering the heat and the distance across the sand. The hotel has a swimming pool, though I chose not to use it, as I wasn’t sure about water replacement frequency. Breakfast offers a wide selection, consistently good coffee, and fresh fruits—usually dragon fruit and watermelon, or pineapple and watermelon. The continental options are solid, with a few Thai dishes available. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until late afternoon. The beach is outstanding, with beautiful water and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend buying water shoes, as sea urchins are present; I saw them while snorkeling. The water quality, sand, and overall environment are exceptional and fully worth the stay. We visited the central area once and immediately understood that it was not for us: loud, crowded, chaotic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying anywhere near the central streets. Long Beach offers everything needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and advise future guests to explore reviews of this specific area, as they will be helpful.

Amazing hotel I highly recommend it. Staff are very friendly and made my stay there even better. I stayed there 3 times on my holiday as it was so good it’s Great for families , couples beautiful views . It’s on the beach and has amazing food on site but also a stroll two minutes up beach and there’s restaurants and bars cafes. I can’t recommend this place enough it’s outstanding.

A porter met us at the port and kindly carried our bags to the hotel, which was a nice and welcoming start to our stay. The rooms were as described; however, the hotel itself feels quite dated and is in need of general maintenance and updating. There was a noticeable mold smell in the room initially, though this disappeared once the air conditioning was turned on. Breakfast was enjoyable, with good coffee and made-to-order eggs. The private beach was a highlight—quiet, calm, and never crowded. The pool water itself was clean, but unfortunately the surrounding area was littered with cigarette butts. While we were relaxing at the pool, another family began smoking. We informed the front desk, but no action was taken, which was disappointing, especially as there were visible no-smoking signs. The view from the fourth floor is truly spectacular. We did have one uncomfortable moment when housekeeping entered our room from the deck around 9 a.m. while we were packing. We greeted her immediately; she apologised and left. There was a Koi pond in the main lobby was sad as the fish in the side pond had insufficient water to swim upright.  This hotel could be amazing. Its peaceful location on an otherwise busy island, along with the dramatic cliffside setting and pool deck, gives it enormous potential. Unfortunately, it feels like the property has passed its peak, leaving a sense of missed opportunity rather than what it could still become.

Overall, it was an amazing stay. We started our vacation here and liked it so much that we decided to extend our vacation and come back after our stay at our second hotel! The hotel definitely has its charm, nice pools and stunning views. Just don’t expect too much from this 4-star hotel, as it is dated and many facilities and interiors require renovation. The breakfast selection was quite limited, especially for European tastes and children. Most options were Asian-style dishes, with no alternatives apart from omelets and fruit. The beach restaurant was rather pricey, so we usually ate at another restaurant further down the beach, which was delicious and better value for money. What made our stay wonderful was our 2-bedroom beachfront pool villa, the calm sea, and, of course, the people. We also celebrated our wedding anniversary with a private beachfront dinner, which was an incredible and delicious experience. 1. The villa The huge villa gave our family of four two bedrooms, a private pool big enough to swim in, and beautiful, tranquil Tubkaek beach right at our doorstep. It was exactly what I was looking for! It was very well equipped, especially the kitchen, with a large refrigerator, microwave, and plenty of tableware. The beds were quite firm, but the pillows were comfortable enough for me. The towels, however, were noticeably old and worn and could definitely use replacing. A new hotel was being built on the neighboring property. Although our villa was at the edge of the resort on that side, the construction didn’t bother us or disturb the tranquility. The location is very peaceful and secluded, but there was no infrastructure nearby - 7-11, currency exchange, laundry services, etc. - you will need a taxi or car to get around. 2. The people and service The staff were great. I’d especially like to highlight the Reservations Manager, Tohn (Pornpimon Inchan), who was very helpful and patient with all my advance inquiries (I had quite a few 😅) and did everything possible to make things happen. Laan was another great employee: incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond. We felt very welcomed by him throughout both stays and he helped us with everything we needed or asked for. He was also our personal assistant at the private dinner and made those special moments even better with his thoughtful, proactive attitude and kind smile. A few things, however, could be improved. Communication in English was sometimes challenging, as quite a few staff members, including some at reception, had rather limited English. The Wi-Fi in our villa was poor. I was told new equipment needed to be installed and was offered another villa, but moving wasn’t an option for us. When we returned 11 days later, the Wi-Fi had not improved, so I used mobile internet instead. Housekeeping was flawless during our first stay. During our second, however, our villa wasn’t serviced one day after we put up the “Please make up my room” sign. We eventually asked for fresh towels and water, but initially received towels for two instead of four. I expected more attention to detail in the hotel’s most expensive villa. The villa also showed its age in places. I liked having separate air-conditioning units in each room, but they were quite noisy, all the doors were rather squeaky, some appliances were dated, and there were a couple of leaks. I reported some of these issues at check-out and asked maintenance to check and fix the villa before our return. However, 11 days later nothing had been fixed, although they knew we were returning to the same villa and it had been empty for at least one day. Without these relatively minor maintenance issues, the villa would have been pretty much perfect for us. That said, none of this changed how much we enjoyed our stay. The villa, incredible beachfront setting, and, above all, some truly wonderful people made our time at Anyavee Tubkaek Beach Resort very special — special enough for us to come back.
