"This guesthouse was a real gem, easily a full five-star rating! The entire place is an elegant Bai-style courtyard, with quaint bridges and flowing water, creating a serene and refined atmosphere. Despite being right inside Dali Ancient City, it's completely shielded from the street noise, offering a rare sense of tranquility amidst the bustling area. It's incredibly convenient for exploring the ancient city on foot. We booked a mountain-view room with an exclusive terrace, and sitting there in the evening, enjoying the breeze, the view was so relaxing and truly set the perfect mood. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was neat and fresh, and the smart bathroom amenities were convenient and easy to use; all the hardware was very well-maintained. The owner was kind and thoughtful, and the check-in process was simple and smooth. They weren't intrusive at all, but were always quick to respond if we had any questions. Overall, the guesthouse has a strong ancient charm, quiet and healing. After a day of exploring the ancient city, returning to the courtyard was incredibly stress-relieving. The stay far exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in the ancient city."

"The beauty of Dali is never about rushing to tourist attractions, but about sitting and watching the clouds drift by on a quiet morning or afternoon. This time, I chose the Xise·Hai Dongfang Cliffside Seaview Hotel and experienced different rooms. Sitting on the sofa, watching the light and shadow dance on Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, Dali truly embodies a relaxed and free spirit. At the Xise·Hai Dongfang Villa, you can enjoy a slow-paced life facing the sea without even leaving the villa – incredibly pleasant and comfortable! The butler was super welcoming, bringing a large plate of fruit and snacks. The room was very clean and stylish! The housekeeper even thoughtfully brought breakfast to the room. Sitting at the dining table with my husband, enjoying a nutritious breakfast while admiring the stunning scenery of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake was truly delightful. Xise also offers car rental services. My husband and I had so much fun driving around Erhai Lake in my favorite pink BMW convertible! Next time I come to Dali, I'll definitely choose Xise again, to enjoy the wonderful slow life of Dali with my loved ones…"

"Close to the airport and facing Erhai Lake, you can watch the sunrise and sunset, which is quite relaxing. The hotel has a cat and a dog, both very gentle. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with great views."

"Xiao Mei and Bei Bei provided excellent butler service. The hotel offers 24-hour butler service, and the afternoon tea and other amenities are quite innovative. The hotel's Baroque style decor is very thoughtful. For extended stays, the butler contacts you every morning to arrange housekeeping, which is very considerate. The hotel also provides laundry service; the butler picks up the clothes, washes them, and returns them, so you don't have to worry about it. Special praise to the butler service! I really liked it; it was very thoughtful. The hotel staff were all very polite, professional, and communicated smoothly!"

"The room is big and clean. We have 6 people in one room. The bath is very comfortable. There is no hot water supply at the same time. There are many condiments in the kitchen. You can cook by yourself. The yard door is opened to the lotus pond. You can stay here for a few more days."

He also provided guides and tips on how to travel around the Erhai Lake. The view from our accommodations was also facing the Erhai Lake directly, as per the photo guides while booking. 10 out of 10 will recommend to anybody looking to stay around East side of Erhai Lake."

"One day in Haidong, as if living in a picture frame I stayed in Kunming for two days on the weekend to escape from work Originally, I planned to stay in Haixi for two nights. By coincidence, I had dinner with an old friend at this hotel. I was shocked by the sunset in the restaurant. The key is that such a beautiful restaurant tastes good, so I decisively checked out of the room in Haixi and decided to stay immediately I booked a family room. The room is very large and the bed is super comfortable. The room is in a single-family villa with a large and beautiful terrace garden for taking pictures and watching the sea. There is also a function area downstairs where you can cook and play mahjong. It is very suitable for families or sisters to travel together The afternoon tea served in the sea view restaurant is also very exquisite. Sitting in the restaurant, you can overlook the 19 peaks and 18 streams of Cangshan Mountain. The unpredictable clouds cover the top of the mountain like snow. After a while, they slowly roll over and coil between the mountains like jade belts. Columns of light pass through the sky like crystals. I sat and watched the clouds for an afternoon, and I felt that I couldn’t see enough."

"The room actually looks better than the photos. The layout is very reasonable and the facilities are very new. It is very clean and the community management is very good. It is very quiet at night and I have a good sleep all night. The landlord is extremely reliable. Every time I ask her, she replies instantly. I am very close. The ancient city is also very close, a few hundred meters away. When I rented a tram, the landlord helped me negotiate the price.
