"What a fantastic stay! This hotel boasts a great location, excellent facilities, and top-notch service. We loved it so much that we extended our one-day stay by another three days. **Great Location:** Step out the door and turn left, and you're out of the old town in less than 100 meters. Public transport, tourist lines, taxis, private car hires, and electric scooter rentals are all readily available, making getting around incredibly convenient. Turn right and walk straight, and you're in the heart of the old town. It's super easy to visit attractions during the day and explore the old town at night. **Excellent Facilities:** The hardware facilities are all in pristine condition. The rooms feature smart voice control, and the toiletries provided are very comfortable to use. The hotel has three floors, but there's a large platform on the fourth floor where you can relax, chat, and enjoy the old town's night view and the starry sky. In the mornings, you can take in the views of Cangshan Mountain and catch a glimpse of Erhai Lake from the platform – it's a wonderful feeling. **Top-notch Service:** In short, the owner is thoughtful, the staff are dedicated, and the service is attentive. After check-in, two young ladies kindly helped us carry our large and heavy suitcase up to the third floor – much appreciated! For breakfast, there are three options: Western, Chinese, or rice noodles, or you can mix and match. In the afternoon, there's a lovely afternoon tea set, which our child absolutely adored. I asked the butler for information on Dali's attractions, and they provided me with maps of both the attractions and the old town, along with detailed descriptions. The butler even upgraded our room, which was a pleasant surprise! We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Dali."

"A Wonderful Stay Made Special by the People We are a group of six travelers from Thailand and booked three rooms for two nights at Yuntang Luxury Resort Hotel Dali. Our stay was truly memorable, and we were very impressed with the hotel. The location is excellent, and the rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and have a genuine sense of luxury. However, what impressed us the most was the people. From check-in to breakfast service, the staff were attentive, friendly, and communicated with us very clearly. They took great care of us throughout our stay. Most importantly, they went out of their way to help arrange transportation for our group to Dali Railway Station, which made our departure so much easier. We have also included photos of the two staff members who assisted us throughout our stay. We would especially like the hotel management to recognize them. They are kind-hearted, genuinely caring, and wonderful representatives of the hotel. People like them are truly an asset to the business. "I absolutely have to give this hotel a solid five-star review! My trip to Dali was so smooth, all thanks to the incredibly thoughtful young lady at the hotel. Towards the end of our trip, we wanted to send our luggage ahead, but vehicle access inside the ancient city is restricted, making it really difficult to transport large bags. The hotel staff member proactively stepped up to help. First, she enthusiastically tried to arrange a pickup service for us. After many attempts, we still couldn't find a suitable vehicle. To my surprise, without a moment's hesitation, she lent us her electric scooter and personally helped us transport the luggage all the way to the meeting point with the express delivery driver. She was completely hands-on throughout the entire process, showing no impatience whatsoever. She genuinely helped us solve a huge travel dilemma, saving us so much unnecessary hassle. Besides the heartwarming service, the hotel's location right within the ancient city is super convenient for shopping and finding food, and the room itself was very comfortable. The staff's sincere and warm service truly touched my heart and made the experience absolutely perfect. I sincerely wish the hotel continuous business and prosperity. The next time I come to Dali, I will definitely choose to stay here again without a second thought. I also wholeheartedly recommend this place to any friends visiting the ancient city! 😄😄"

"The first hotel on our Yunnan trip was absolutely fantastic! The moment we stepped into the courtyard, we were instantly charmed by the beautiful flowers and plants, and seeing the adorable cats and dogs just lifted our spirits. The room was very clean, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, which is one of my must-haves when choosing accommodation. The bedding was super comfortable, and the bed was great for sleeping. They even had a direct drinking water dispenser in the room, which felt much safer than an electric kettle. The guesthouse is just over a ten-minute walk to the South Gate of the ancient town. The walk back takes a few minutes longer because there's an uphill slope right before you reach the guesthouse, but if you rent a scooter, it's no problem at all. They even thoughtfully provided a foot bath tub in the room – soaking my feet after a long day was so relaxing. The staff at the guesthouse were all young men, and they were warm and welcoming without being intrusive. If I come back to Dali, I'll definitely choose this guesthouse again."

"This stay was fantastic! The small balcony in the room had a great view, perfect for enjoying a meal while admiring the scenery – very pleasant. The popcorn, cookies, and fruit served at afternoon tea were delicious, and the thick rice noodles with corn, sweet potato, and eggs at breakfast were also very tasty. The room was both modern and clean, and the butler was quick and helpful with any issues during my stay, providing attentive and efficient service. The guesthouse had a quiet and comfortable environment, perfect for a relaxing vacation, and I would definitely stay here again!"

"This homestay feels like it is run by a friendly local aunty and her son, which gives the place a warm and personal touch. Check-in was easy and smooth. Do note that there is no escalator, so if you are carrying big luggage, it may be a little inconvenient. We stayed on the 3rd floor, but luckily the aunty’s son helped us carry our luggage up, which we really appreciated as we were all girls. The location is quite convenient as it is inside Dali Ancient Town. If taking Didi, you may need to get off near Luckin Coffee and walk in for around 3 minutes, since cars may not be able to stop right at the homestay. The room was clean, and the bed came with a heater, which was very useful. However, the room was quite small for 4 people, so it may feel a little tight if everyone has big luggage. But considering it is a budget stay, I think it is still acceptable and good value for the price. One bonus point is that they provide Yunnan-style scarves to borrow, so we didn’t need to buy one just for photos. The aunty was also very friendly and would greet us every night when we came back, sometimes asking about our day. It was sweet, though as introverts, we sometimes just wanted to quietly go back to our room after a long day. But this really depends on personal preference - some travellers may find it very warm and welcoming. Overall, it is a simple, clean and budget-friendly homestay with a good location and kind hosts. Suitable for travellers who don’t mind stairs and prefer a local, homely stay experience."
