"The B&B is located within Ideal Village, and you can park your car in the designated parking area. The B&B arranges for a sightseeing cart to pick you up and drop you off, and your luggage is delivered directly to your room. They also help with luggage when you're checking out. It's very convenient to contact them for pick-up and drop-off whenever you leave or return. However, the parking lot is not free. We also received a complimentary souvenir upon check-out. We booked a round bed room. The room was clean and equipped with free beverages, mineral water, and drip coffee bags, which were replenished daily. Breakfast included rice noodles, regular noodles, milk, eggs, and coffee, catering to a basic range of tastes and ages. Our room had a small balcony with a partial sea view and was in a very quiet location. Enjoying the scenery from the balcony in the morning was lovely. The staff were very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. The only potential drawback is that there's a public cemetery on the opposite mountain, and we could see rows of gravestones from our room's balcony. So, we generally avoided the balcony at night, especially since we were traveling with children. Overall, I'm personally quite satisfied with the B&B. We spent most of our days out and about, and the balcony would have been chilly at night anyway, so staying indoors was perfectly fine!"

"This hotel is super close to the ancient city, you can just walk there. Plus, it's right next to the scenic area shuttle bus and the long-distance bus station, so transportation is incredibly convenient. There's a snack street nearby with tons of restaurants and BBQ stalls to choose from. The hotel environment and service are both excellent. They even have a kids' pool on the first floor, which is perfect for families traveling with children. The best part is the price is really affordable. The staff also helped us book the most practical tour groups based on our travel needs, which saved us a lot of money. Highly recommend staying here!"

"Afternoon Tea: There's afternoon tea every day, and it's not just a perfunctory offering – they have really delicious cakes and such. Welcome Fruit: Freshly washed fruit is provided daily. Service: The service is truly excellent. As someone who used to work as a server, I can say the attitude here is outstanding. Environment: It's exceptionally clean and tidy, and the staff are very friendly and never superficial. Hygiene: Superb. I'll definitely recommend this to my friends and family next time! 👍"

"This is by far the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in Dali. It's designed with a beautiful garden aesthetic, and the air is just amazing. The whole hotel feels like a grand estate. The staff are so warm and attentive. The facilities are incredibly comprehensive: a book bar, a regular bar, a sports hall, a restaurant, and a gym (with tons of equipment, which I, as someone who works out daily, absolutely loved!). What I want to praise most about the room is the incredibly spacious shower area, with excellent wet/dry separation. I really love this room type. The breakfast selection is rich and varied, and they even have卡通餐盘 (cartoon-themed plates) – so thoughtful for families traveling with children!"

"Songyun Banshan Hotel is an absolute gem in Dali! Its hillside location offers incredible advantages, boasting stunning mountain and sea views. The infinity pool and observation decks provide picturesque scenery everywhere you look, with the sunset being particularly breathtaking. A special shout-out to our butler, Allen; his service was meticulous and attentive. He made check-in efficient, thoroughly explained the hotel's amenities, and gave us many practical travel tips. The room was clean and bright, and the panoramic floor-toceiling windows offered a fantastic viewing experience. The overall atmosphere was tranquil and comfortable, and the captivating scenery combined with Allen's warm service significantly enhanced our travel happiness. It's great value for money and I've already recommended it to friends. The only minor drawback is that the toilet needs an upgrade."

"The hotel staff was extremely welcomimg and caring. We truly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious. I especially enjoyed the fresh Soy Bean Milk and their local delicious fresh corn every morning. We were offered a ride around the lake by the hotel manager, he showed us the best places to buy authentic Yunnan Tea outside of the main tourist traps and received a small gift on our departure. It felt more like staying with friends than being just another customer at the hotel. The room was super nice, clean and we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The owner upgraded our room, which was very clean. Both the owner and staff provided excellent and warm service. Coffee and herbal tea were complimentary to the room, and breakfast was delivered to our room at our requested time. The rice noodles were delicious. They also offer free shuttle service to the ancient city until 10 PM. Overall, it was a good stay, though it's a shame the pool wasn't open. Still, if I come back to stay near the ancient city, I'd choose this place again."

"A hidden gem of a sea-view guesthouse! The terrace offers a perfect view, directly facing Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain. The room is clean and airy, making for a very relaxing stay. The breakfast selection is rich, with authentic local flavors, and the afternoon tea is also quite a ritual. The service is gentle and attentive, and the location is convenient, very close to Ideal State. Sitting on the terrace, enjoying the sea breeze and watching the sunset, the ambiance is absolutely incredible. It's truly the top choice for a Dali vacation!"
