The hotel has been open for many years. While the lobby is beautiful, some of the in-room facilities are outdated. 😂 Even the Qinghai-Gansu Loop hotels now have smart toilets as standard. There's no air conditioning in the room (I'm not sure if this is typical for all of Xining), and it felt quite stuffy, so they sent a fan up. However, the service from the front desk, concierge, and even the room attendants was excellent – very polite and professional. Every morning, I'd see a senior manager on the first floor who would proactively greet guests and hold the elevator. The restaurant also has a good variety of dishes, but the chef wasn't very polite and seemed impatient when answering questions, and this was the case both days 🙃. The beef offal soup on the first day was even cold 🙃. The hotel's location is great, in the bustling Chenxi district, surrounded by shopping malls, making it very convenient for dining and shopping.

The service provided by the front desk lady is very good, proactive, enthusiastic, and very friendly. The room is clean and has no odor. The bathroom is also very clean. There is hot water all day long and the water comes out quickly. It is a good place to stay on a business trip

I was truly touched by the hotel's warm and inviting atmosphere, and I really appreciated the comfortable stay. The room was clean and tidy with great natural light, creating a soft and soothing ambiance. It was perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The bedding was soft, ensuring a very restful sleep, and the hotel environment was quiet, free from any noisy disturbances. My entire stay was incredibly pleasant. It's reassuring to know I can have such a delightful and relaxing experience again, and I'll definitely prioritize staying here for future trips.

Let's start with the positives: the location is excellent, with many restaurants nearby making dining convenient, and there's an airport shuttle stop right outside. The higher floors offer a panoramic view of the city's nightscape, which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel for my last stop in Xining before flying home. However, on the second day, breakfast was a bizarre experience. They had simply set up a few tables with food in the second-floor hallway, and strangers were squeezed together at large round tables to eat. It was incredibly awkward. There were only two or three unresponsive servers who showed no service awareness. On the third day, we were informed that breakfast had returned to the first-floor restaurant, and the food and environment were finally up to a normal hotel standard. Since my flight was in the afternoon, I called the front desk and was granted a late check-out until 3 PM, which shows the hotel's consideration for guests and good service. This is also why I gave a higher rating.

Staying at the Qaidam International Hotel in Xining was such a breeze! The room was clean and even had a humidifier, which is perfect for the high-altitude climate. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and efficient, and the soundproofing was excellent. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm here.

The hotel opened this year. The room is large and the decoration is very high-end, which meets my aesthetic taste. The whole house is smart, the lights and curtains can be voice-controlled, there is also a smart toilet, the projection image quality is very clear, and we also watched a movie at night. The bed is very clean and soft, and there are washing machines, refrigerators, and induction cookers. The hotel is only a few minutes' walk from Wanda. There are also many delicious foods around the hotel, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. Maybe because of the altitude, the bath water is a little small, and the full-body mirror at the door of the bathroom is a funhouse mirror, which makes me happy. Everything else is great! It's a pity that we have to rush the schedule, otherwise we will definitely stay a few more nights.

The hotel breakfast was very rich, and the environment and hygiene were excellent. Less than half an hour after checking out, I received a call from housekeeper Xiaoqi. My child had left a charger in the room, and there wasn't enough time to go back and get it. Xiaoqi then arranged for it to be mailed, which I greatly appreciate.

Let's start with the positives: 1. The hotel is a convenient 10-minute walk to Wanda Plaza. The breakfast variety and taste are both excellent. They have everything from mini wontons, noodles, bread, cakes, yogurt, stir-fries, congee, cereal, and juices (of course, it can't compare to a five-star hotel, but it's very good for a hotel of its caliber). 2. The hotel offers a self-service laundry room with complimentary washers and dryers. There are even sticky notes and magnets next to them, so you can write your room number on a note and attach it. If you can't pick up your laundry promptly, the staff can retrieve it, put it into a laundry bag, and deliver it to your room. This is absolutely fantastic! Now for the downsides: 1. The room I booked was advertised as having a smart toilet, but the bidet function didn't work; the water sprayed downwards instead of upwards. 2. The mini-fridge in the room was very noisy, clearly old and due for replacement. Plus, it was unplugged, and I had to pull it out to plug it in (I'm guessing the previous guest unplugged it because of the noise, but it should have been plugged back in during room cleaning, otherwise the next guest can't get cold drinks). Finally, a positive note on the service: I left in a hurry and forgot my charger in the room. After I called, the staff immediately verified they found it and promptly couriered it to the specified address. The response time was very quick! I have to give them high praise for the service.

Traveling to Xining for the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, our twin room at Atour S Hotel SDIC Plaza Haihu New District Xining far exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and bright, with two generously sized beds and soft, clean bedding. The humidifier, essential for high-altitude travel, was provided. The bathroom was separated into wet and dry areas, and the toiletries were of good quality. The front desk service was efficient and thoughtful, and the self-service laundry room was very practical for long-distance road trippers. The soundproofing was excellent, allowing us to rest well after a tiring day.

Long-distance self-driving is exhausted, arriving at the hotel, want to have a good rest, the bedding in the room is soft, and you can relax soon after lying down. The electric curtains in the whole house are simple to operate and the light is freely adjusted. There are paid parking spaces on the ground and underground, and parking is convenient. There are many night snack shops in Antai Pedestrian Street behind the building, and you don't have to worry about eating late. It takes a long time to drive to the safari park. You don't have to get up early to travel the next day. The staff is gentle and friendly.
