"This hotel is fantastic and fully equipped, truly a resort hotel, and many Japanese guests stay here! First, the hotel will send you an email in advance to confirm your dinner time. We booked dinner for two nights; it was a set menu, and the menu changed daily! The rooms are spacious, and there are many yukata choices! There are two hot springs ♨️, one in the main building and one in the south building. Currently, there are no private baths. We tried both. The main building's is smaller but fully equipped and less crowded. The south building isn't too far to walk to, just a few stairs! Both sides have restaurants. We stayed in the main building and dined there. Breakfast was indeed a bit of a hassle; you usually have to wait. You can go down early to make a reservation, and they'll call your room when it's ready! If you have time, you definitely need to try the hotel's facilities. It has three stops, including a free spa and an indoor water park. We went to the spa, and swimsuits were provided, which was very convenient! The internal shuttle runs until 11 PM, so you can go in the evening too! Be aware that the shuttle to the Kogen Station is the same as the internal shuttle, so make sure to ask when you get on! Both the hotel's dinner and breakfast are high-quality, and breakfast even includes sashimi rice! Plus, the hotel's souvenir shop is cheaper than the one at JR Station! I recommend having dinner at the hotel, as there's absolutely nothing around, no shops! But the hotel itself is so exciting, it's worth it even if you just stay and enjoy the hotel!"

"Perfect! Words can't describe our experience. It was simply beautiful, showcasing the best of Japan: courtesy, cleanliness, meticulous attention to detail, and exquisite cuisine. This is the hometown of the Izu Dancer, and wasabi is cultivated right down the mountain. The hotel told a story about wasabi from beginning to end..."

"I happened to experience a 5.8 magnitude earthquake in the Fuji Five Lakes area. The whole room shook violently, and all the bottles and jars on the table fell to the floor. Surprisingly, the hotel was completely fine after the quake. The earthquake resistance is truly impressive! 👍 If it hadn't been for the earthquake, I'd say this hotel is incredibly convenient. It's easy to get to Gotemba for shopping, and the bus service to and from Tokyo is also very accessible. My only regret is that I didn't get to see Mount Fuji 🗻"

"You may be able to see the beautiful city view. The nearest convenience store is a 7-8 minute walk away. The top floor is a large bathing area and the floor is a bit slippery, so the elderly should be careful when walking. The door of the outdoor hot spring can be easily locked. The outdoor hot spring is dark and the stones can easily scratch your hands. The most praiseworthy thing is the private hot spring, which has a beautiful and high-end environment. "

"This is probably a mistake on the booking site, but the room doesn't have a unit bath (only a toilet). I was surprised because I didn't have that kind of plan. Well, there is a large public bath, so it's not a problem in the winter even if there is no shower in the room, but you have to be careful in the summer. By the way, this is not the hotel's problem, so please don't misunderstand..."

"The quad room was very spacious, allowing each child to have their own double bed. The overall stay was excellent; the facilities were new and clean, the staff friendly, and the amenities superb, all set in a beautiful environment. I highly recommend the half-board option (dinner and breakfast). Both breakfast and dinner are buffet-style with a wide variety of dishes and fresh, sweet sashimi. The complimentary late-night ramen was incredibly fragrant and, in my opinion, even better quality than what you'd find at Dormy Inn. There were two minor downsides: Firstly, while the hotel is close to Atami Station, there's a flight of several dozen steps between the hotel and the station. Walking up these stairs to get to Atami Station or the shopping street can be quite strenuous. Alternatives include a not-so-frequent shuttle bus, a public bus from the hotel's seaside exit to the station (230 yen for adults), or a taxi to the station (around 900 yen). Secondly, we were assigned a room on the fourth floor of the North Wing, and our balcony directly faced the air conditioning units on the roof of the Central Wing. Taking a bath in the outdoor onsen on the balcony was extremely noisy. We had to close and lock the glass door between the balcony and the room to avoid hearing the AC noise inside the room."

"The hotel was very clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. The hot springs were also wonderful, probably because it was a weekday and not crowded. I highly recommend getting the dinner plan. For breakfast, we were able to have it in our room, which allowed for a very relaxed start to the day. As other reviewers mentioned, the坂道 (steep hill) up to the hotel was quite something. We went by car, and at one point, we encountered another car coming down in a curving tunnel. Since uphill traffic has priority, the other car had to back up the hill to let us pass. After arriving, we enjoyed walking to the shopping street in front of the station, but on the way back to the hotel, we took a taxi from the station. Even the taxi driver radioed ahead to another taxi waiting at the top of the hill to hold their position before starting the ascent. It would be great if there were traffic lights at the top and bottom. There aren't many cars coming and going, so we just hoped there wouldn't be any oncoming traffic on our way back."
