"The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I particularly appreciated how the bath and luggage storage areas were separate from the capsule area, which made for a much quieter and more restful stay compared to other similar facilities. There were also plenty of showers, sinks, and hairdryers, so I never felt like it was crowded. Another nice touch was that each guest received their own bath mat. This kept the changing rooms clean and dry, which was a pleasant surprise. My only minor complaint was that my capsule felt a bit cold. Even with thermal underwear under the provided loungewear, I woke up in the middle of the night because of the chill. It would be even more comfortable if blankets were available for rent or if the room temperature could be adjusted."

"Thank you for your help. It was likely to be later than the check-in time, so when I contacted you early, it was good that the response was very pleasant! When I arrived, it was dark and old building, so I thought it was cheap, so I thought it was possible to do it, but it was nice to be cleaned in a comfortable space where the feeling of hospitality was transmitted everyday! It was a good place to want to use it again."

It's the only comprehensive hotel in Shiogama city. This hotel is very convenient, only 3 minutes away on foot from Hon-Shiogama Station.
"酒店乾淨整齊，但裝潢有點舊式。單人房間大小適中。酒店大堂大氣。地點方面，近火車站,附近又有aeon mall，內有大型超市及餐廳。當然附近亦有不少壽司店。 玩松島住塩釜酒店亦是不錯的選擇。塩釜是個舒適小鎮，本身亦有些不錯的景點，秋天上神社，楓葉很漂亮。搭J R去松島很方便，亦可搭觀光船直接由松島，是個不錯的體驗。 酒店前台部份職員英文程度不好，但整體有禮。 酒店後邊有個小山丘，有小神社，不妨上去看看全鎮風景。"

"This place is a rustic ryokan with stories. While it is not luxurious ryokan, but I had great experiences. Room is rather small but that’s all we needed. There are public bath and private baths available. I enjoyed using public bath. Dinner and breakfast were good. Not overwhelming but very tasty. Staffs were nice and very attentive. At the last day, grandma came and greeted us during departure. The ryokan also offered to drop us off at the train station."

"I went to Shiogama many times, but this is the first time I stayed. It is good as the starting point of Shiogama sightseeing because it is immediately after leaving the station and crossing the signal. The facilities are simple, but I don't feel particularly inconvenient. It is a good hotel with a cospa. There is also a convenience store nearby and a famous shop of specialty cherry blossoms is lined up. This time I used sushi Tetsu. The material was fresh and very delicious, but the price is a little tight. . ."

It has an attractive free parking lot without limitation of vehicle height! Located in peaceful area, close to downtown and station.
"We stayed with 3 friends. It was best that the room was large and even 3 people could spend without feeling cramped. It was also helpful that there was a free parking lot, and I was grateful that there was no additional charge even if the check-out extension was extended. The location is a bit far away, but considering the price, it was a hotel that was satisfactory enough and convenient. I still want to use it."

A charming and authentic Japanese experience A charming, Japanese inn, with everything beautifully traditional. Lovely-quality yukatas are provided for guests to wear during their stay — not unusual in Japan, but these were noticeably better quality than we have experienced elsewhere. The ryokan is run by a husband-and-wife team, who were eager to please and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed a delicious Japanese dinner and breakfast, both served in the privacy of our own room. It was wonderfully relaxing and gave us the feeling of being guests in a Japanese home rather than simply staying in a hotel. Our bath was prepared for us as soon as we arrived, which was a lovely welcome after our bike ride. The bathroom is shared, as is common in smaller Japanese guesthouses, but we had no complaints whatsoever. Overall, this was a genuinely authentic experience and one we thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommended — and a lovely place to reach by bicycle!

I had a wonderful stay at Ryokan Tsukasa in Sendai. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. My room was beautifully designed in the style of a traditional Japanese house, and I had the unique experience of sleeping on the floor like a true Japanese. I also loved wearing the traditional robe provided in the room — it added an authentic touch to the stay. Everything was perfect, and I would highly recommend this ryokan to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Sendai!

Nice traditional Japanese hotel. The room was conveniently located on the first floor. The only things to keep in mind there as a foreigner (very broken English at best). Using a translation device or app in your phone is essential for communication. The room we stayed did not have a private shower. If a shower is needed it will be in a communal shower area. The room does have a toilet and sink though.

quite dated hotel, a lot of things are quite old/dated/worn, location is ok, ＜10min walk from station, convenience stores nearby, 10min walk to the ferry and eating places. mostly clean and neat, amenities available. for price, not bad. walls are quite thin, so you hear next door noises. Shower water temp tends to be slightly not too stable. no electric outlets near bed, not convenient
