"I forgot to take photos, but this hotel is right next to The National Golf Club, one of the world's top 100 courses. The food here is excellent, and you can see the Pacific Ocean directly from the balcony. It was a fantastic experience. The room had a balcony, and you could open the windows."

"I'm not entirely sure, but it definitely felt like a five-star hotel. The facilities have a classic charm, and the decor creates a wonderful ambiance. All the amenities, including the bed and sofa, are of good quality, and the room itself is very spacious. They also provide better complimentary in-room items than most hotels, such as cookies and beverages. However, perhaps because it's a traditional, century-old luxury hotel, the bathroom has an older-style design without a floor drain. This means you need to be careful when showering or using water, as it can easily lead to puddles on the floor. Additionally, there's a large, well-maintained lawn right outside the back door of the room. It looks especially beautiful in the morning and truly reinforces that traditional luxury hotel feel. The staff's overall service quality is excellent, though it's a bit of a shame there isn't a 24-hour front desk. I also found it quite challenging to reach the hotel online; emails went unanswered, and calling the official website number didn't connect me with anyone. Ultimately, I had to use the specific phone number they provided at the door during check-in."

"One of the best stays I had as a couple with my wife! The hotel amenities is immaculate, even the provided filtered tap water have a hint of lemon taste in it. The room overlooks the Yarra river. In room dining is reasonably priced and delicious, perfect for any couple who just want to stay in. Have a cute cafe at the ground floor and well equipped gym and indoor swimming pool. From the warm service provided by Zhai at the front desk before check-in, to the thoughtful gifts given to our kids by the housekeeping team during our stay, our entire family was delighted and deeply touched. "Staying at The Windsor Hotel was the highlight of our Melbourne trip. The hotel, over a hundred years old, exudes a classic British style both inside and out, featuring many antique items and fixtures. Walking through it, you can truly feel the weight of history. The room decor is relatively simple, with exceptionally high ceilings and a separate walk-in closet. The bathroom is quite new, spacious, and bright. The heating in our room wasn't working, so after a staff member checked it, they brought us a small space heater as a temporary solution, which was fine as Melbourne winters aren't too cold. What truly impressed us was the hotel breakfast. While not the most lavish, it was very distinctive, served as an à la carte set menu. It included juice, coffee or tea, and a main course. The server would also bring a bread basket of the day for you to choose from. There were several main course options, and my partner and I tried six different ones over three days, always leaving feeling very full. If you get there early enough, you can snag a window seat with a view of the street pedestrians and Parliament House across the way. The morning sun streaming through the glass made the whole experience golden and warm, bathing us in sunlight as we enjoyed breakfast – pure bliss."

"The hotel is nice and the location is very convenient. Two things were problems. 1. Try running in the gym when the sun rises - you can't without being blinded by the sun. Blinds need to be installed! The rest of the gym was very basic. 2. I tried to go to the rooftop bar a few times. It was advertised as open, but it wasn't. Looks like it could have been a nice place for a drink. Overall, the hotel was ok, but it did feel very impersonal and it lacked attention to detail."

The surroundings are excellent, and the location is convenient. The room was spacious and cleaned promptly. Room service was also very efficient; anything I needed was delivered quickly with just a phone call. I accidentally scraped my leg, and when I asked room service for some disinfectant, the hotel's medical staff came to my room to disinfect and bandage it, even thoughtfully asking how I got the scrape. The breakfast was exquisite, and the flat white truly is my favorite – I had it seven mornings in a row! The restaurant manager and staff were very warm and friendly, and their attire was elegant and neat. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

The hotel staff were welcoming and ready to help. The hotel ammenities and location itself were perfect, from the pool there was a magnificent view of the sunset overlooking the city buildings. The charging ports in the room were practically placed, the beds were comfy, and the bathroom was modernly designed and spacious. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm, inviting, clean and modern, making its shared spaces comfortable to relax. Its convenient location allowed access to ”The District” on Docklands with a range of restaurants and shops alongside public transport. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, modern and enjoyable stay in Melbourne.

The hotel is located on a small street, yet it's incredibly convenient for getting around, close to everything, but far enough from the hustle and bustle to offer a unique sense of tranquility. Most of the staff and management are of Indian descent, and they seemed to lack enthusiasm, although there were some Chinese staff members we didn't interact with much. The breakfast was quite disappointing, especially compared to the much richer options we're used to in China – there was hardly anything to eat here. A heads-up: the entrance is on the ground floor (G), but check-in is on the first floor (which we'd consider the second floor in our country, haha).

Great location for the theatre. We could see the Michael Jackson show sign from our room. Car park is off site and horrible to try and get a park in but only 5min walk from the hotel and $25/ day. Close to parliament station. China town and easily accessible to all city areas. Check-in and check-out were easy, staff were polite, and the happy hour was a nice touch. The room itself was compact but quiet, even being right by the lift. The bathroom, however, was tiny. No way two people could fit at once. The fan didn’t work so the mirror fogged completely, and the shower glass wasn’t long enough, leaving the floor soaked after every use. The bottom of the door showed water damage. Blinds let in light around the edges, and while the air conditioner was noisy, it didn’t really bother us. The luggage space wasn’t big enough to hold a hard case flat without tipping, which was a bit annoying but manageable. Breakfast was unfortunately the biggest low point. Service felt disorganised and slow. We waited almost 20 minutes for the rabke we were sat at to be cleared. The continental breakfast was uninspiring and pastries didn’t seem fresh. We paid an additional $5 per person for menu items since continental breakfast was included in our booking, but if I had paid the full $30–$35 separately, I would’ve been disappointed. Bacon was American-style (crispy), and they did do well offering coffee and tea promptly on arrival. However, the juice service was confusing. No glasses, limited plates, and unclear service flow. Amenities were almost non-existent. The “gym” was about the size of the bathroom with no treadmill or bike, and the rooftop could be much more inviting if it had a covered area or bar. Overall, the location saves it. Ok for a short city stay if you’re here for convenience, but not somewhere I’d choose for comfort or amenities. Unfortunately wouldn’t stay again and not great value for money in my opinion.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Crown Towers. The location is very convenient, and the rooms were comfortable and generally in line with what I would expect for this price range and hotel category. That said, there were a few service issues that could be improved. At around 8:00am, we tried to order breakfast through the in-room tablet, but the room service system was no longer accepting orders. The tablet itself was also not particularly user-friendly. The restaurant reservation experience was more frustrating. We called to book Koko for three adults and three children and were told the earliest available time was around 8:15–8:20pm. We also asked about other hotel restaurants and were told everything was fully booked, with McDonald’s suggested as an alternative. However, when we went downstairs ourselves just before 7:00pm, Koko was able to seat us immediately without any issue. The restaurant service itself was very good, but there clearly seemed to be a disconnect between the central reservation system and the restaurant’s actual availability. We also booked two rooms, and both bathtubs had drainage problems and required staff assistance. Overall, the stay was still enjoyable, and the location and restaurant experience were good. However, compared with other five-star hotels we have stayed at, the service coordination and attention to detail could be improved.

The room was spacious, bright, and very new. It came fully equipped with a washing machine, microwave, and induction hob. The hotel is conveniently located just 200 meters from a tram stop and 300 meters from a bus stop. It's also very close to Chinatown, making it an excellent location overall. If you plan to stay, remember to book in advance, as it's often fully booked.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Pullman Melbourne, particularly with the housekeeping service and the way an unauthorised charge was handled. Although the hotel staff were generally friendly and pleasant, I was extremely concerned to discover that my credit card had been charged an additional amount without any prior notice or explanation at checkout. The hotel claimed that my sister had ordered a drink at 6:38 am. We strongly disputed this, as both of us were still asleep in the room at that time. I asked the hotel to check the CCTV footage and the electronic swipe-card records to verify whether our room door had actually been opened before 9:00 am. Given that the room uses an electronic key-card system, it should have been relatively straightforward for the hotel to establish whether anyone had entered or left the room. More importantly, this raises serious questions about the hotel’s billing and security procedures. Can someone simply provide a room number and order food or drinks without the hotel verifying the guest’s name or identity? If so, this is a significant weakness in the hotel’s procedures. Guests should not be held responsible for charges that they did not authorise, especially when the hotel has electronic records that could potentially verify what happened. I was particularly disappointed that the matter was not handled with greater care and transparency. An unexpected charge to a guest’s credit card should never be taken lightly. For a hotel of the Pullman standard, I expected much better attention to detail, billing accuracy and guest security. I hope management takes this incident seriously and reviews its procedures so that other guests do not experience the same issue.
