I'm so glad I started my Xi'an trip here. It really hit all the right spots, to the point where I seriously considered extending my stay for another day… but in the end, I decided to experience other hotels as well. [Location] It's right by Yongning Gate, next to the city wall, perfectly avoiding the city's traffic jams, which is super convenient for those who rely on taxis for getting around. There's also a subway station nearby. Plus, there are tons of delivery options and amazing places to eat, from breakfast to dinner, snacks, bubble tea, BBQ, and late-night eats – you could literally spend all day just eating! It's also a pleasant walk to the Bell Tower. [View] Pull back the curtains and there's the city wall. Whether it's the grandeur of the day or the dazzling lights at night, I could never get enough of it. [Service] The service was absolutely fantastic! It's been a long time since I've experienced such heartwarming service. Every staff member was so enthusiastic and friendly, from the front desk ladies to the aunties in the restaurant. Everyone served with a smile and went out of their way to provide help within their means. [Environment] (1) The decor, design, and murals really resonated with everyone; there are so many photo opportunities within the hotel itself. (2) Even if you don't have a city wall view room, the outdoor bar offers a spectacular view of the city wall. Sitting there watching the sunset, scrolling on your phone, and enjoying afternoon tea – it's incredibly cozy. (3) The small table in the triple room was perfect for ordering takeout with friends, happily eating and chatting, with Xi'an's city wall right outside the window. After a full meal, you can just lean back and feel completely content without even stepping out. However, if you're a workaholic and need to work overtime, the restaurant might be a more convenient spot. (4) The beds, pillows, and bath products were all very well-received. [Facilities] The pillows, bedding, and toiletries were all highly praised. [Activities] They offer airport pick-up and drop-off, a rubbings activity, free Hanfu rental, and there are many foreign guests as well. [Heads-up] For city wall view rooms facing the road, because they primarily feature glass curtain walls and windows, you might hear the sound of motorcycles with loud exhausts. However, since it's not continuous, it didn't affect our sleep. But it could be a concern for those who are sensitive to noise or are very light sleepers. BUT! The front desk thoughtfully provides earplugs! [Other] When I checked in, it felt like there weren't many guests. Perhaps it's because the price is relatively higher? Or maybe there are too many hotels in the vicinity, leading to intense competition and diverting some guests. However, with the amazing view + cultural experience + airport transfer + excellent service + great location + wonderful ambiance, I feel like it's hard to beat.

This hotel really captures the essence of Xi'an. The rooms are spacious and have a cool, post-modern punk vibe, though the bathroom facilities could use an update. The hotel breakfast restaurant is huge, with a fantastic selection of made-to-order dishes, including many Xi'an specialties like Biang Biang noodles, Qishan臊子面 (Qishan saozi noodles), and Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger). However, I do wish the staff would help maintain some order, especially with so many children around. Definitely worth mentioning is their 'Jinghong Travel Photography' service – the photos turn out amazing and it's absolutely worth trying!

Facilities: The facilities are very complete and of high quality. The sofa, TV, and other amenities were all very comfortable to use. The lighting and curtains are fully automated and smart, and the switches are well-placed for practical use, showing a great sense of design. Cleanliness: The service staff cleaned daily. The bed, floor, and desk were all very clean, and even the bathroom floor was wiped dry by the staff, removing any water stains. Service: The staff were very friendly and helpful. During my stay, I had an issue with my internet connection. After calling the front desk, they immediately arranged for an IT department staff member to assist me, and my internet problem was quickly resolved. Additionally, I'm very grateful to Jennifer for helping me with my room extension and upgrade. Overall, my stay was excellent. Many thanks!

Cleanliness was acceptable and breakfast options atypical of Chinese hotels. My room was facing the afternoon sun and it was really warm and had no ventilation. Unfortunately, there isn't a vent built into the Windows as well, hence the heat built up quickly. Centralised heating was turned on and the AC cooling was turned off which is typical of most hotels during Winter. Had trouble sleeping at night as it was too stuffy and warm.

The hotel's location is excellent, making travel very convenient. There's a direct subway line to the Grand Tang Everbright City and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The Hanshen Shopping Center next to the hotel offers a fantastic variety of food options, so dining is a breeze. Monica from guest relations reached out beforehand and provided warm and thoughtful service. The surrounding area is also very quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. My child absolutely loved the heated swimming pool on the 24th floor. We'll definitely be bringing the family back for the National Day holiday.

The hotel's location is excellent. Just around the corner is the Grand Tang Everbright City, and directly opposite is the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. You can walk to the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to catch the subway, and it's also not far from the Shaanxi History Museum. There are large shopping malls and many restaurants nearby. The hotel's executive lounge primarily serves Western cuisine, and the food is quite good. All the staff are enthusiastic and provide a very welcoming atmosphere.

The location alone makes this place worth booking -- walkable to nearly everything, which is rare and genuinely valuable The room had a few surprises compared to the listing photos, including carpet rather than the hard floors shown, and a smaller window than expected. For guests with sensitivities, worth noting ahead of time. The room ran a little dark, but the quiet of a high floor at the end of the hall more than made up for it. Bathroom is functional with standard toiletries. Would love to see better ventilation and a bidet added in a future update -- we are in Asia after all. Wi-Fi was inconsistent during my stay, which was the one real frustration. The wins were real though: guest-controlled AC (a genuine rarity in China), a comfortable bed, impressively soft towels, linen slippers, a proper tea set, and an air purifier. As an English-speaking guest I appreciated the card with key hotel information in English and the one English news channel -- small gestures that meant a lot after weeks without hearing the language. The Blue Mountain instant coffee was a welcome touch. Housekeeping leaves a daily note with who cleaned and the next day's weather -- small detail, big impression. My housekeeper was especially warm during a stretch when I wasn't feeling well. The front desk and reception staff were consistently kind throughout my stay. Solid stay with a location that's hard to beat.

Exceeded my expectations! The hotel staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, fulfilling all our requests promptly. The location is excellent, right within the scenic area, allowing us to re-enter Changqing Palace daily. It's also very close to the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance, and the hotel can even help with booking tickets. On our first day, the staff disinfected the room right in front of us. They even filled the hot spring bath for us around 7 PM and drained it after we finished. Plus, they served a delicious white fungus soup in the evening. My child absolutely loved our two nights here and found it very comfortable. I'll definitely return when my child is a bit older, perhaps in winter, to experience Changqing Palace in a different light. By then, my child should also be able to appreciate the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow.' (Attached is a photo of the small cake my child made with the hotel staff's guidance).

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful. I'm sensitive to the cold, and they thoughtfully moved me to a room on a higher floor, which I really appreciated! The room itself was unique, with a cave-style *kang* (heated bed) that was a full three meters long. Our balcony overlooked Red Street, and at night, we could watch the illuminated Ferris wheel 🎡. I'll definitely stay here again next summer! 👍👍👍

I brought my little one to Xi'an for a trip. We visited the Terracotta Army, Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell and Drum Towers, Xi'an City Wall, and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City, among other places. We stayed at this hotel for all five days. The hotel's location in the old city is excellent, making it convenient to get to all the attractions. There are also many Xi'an specialty snack shops nearby, so dining out was easy. As an established five-star hotel, both the facilities and service were top-notch. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, and the heated pool was lovely!
