"Words are not enough to describe my experience here. Hosts are amazing. They welcomed me in their wonderful local house, and I felt like at home from the beginning. I shared the meals with them, and food was more than delicious and original! There's a garden and all the fruits and vegetables come from there. Eggs, milk, meats and butter are locally sourced. The room was spacious, very comfortable, well decorated with original ******* design. The toilet was clean and hot water was always available. There's a rooftop from where you can admire the stunning landscapes. I miss this place and my friends so much: I'll definitely go back because this place is unique and unforgettable. "We are European tourists and already travelling for more than 50 days in the south part of China. Well, of all the good hotels or homestays we have been, this was the first time that we had a front desk person (Sherry) that spoke good English!!! Arrived at the busstation of Danba, we felt a bit lost and so we decided to phone the homestay knowing already that it would be useless as nobody would speak English... and big surprise!!! The woman answered in good English!!! WOW. She immediately organized a taxi to pick us up. When we arrived the staff took our luggage out of the taxi and took it up the stairs to our room. The homestay was very cosy with an stunning view (not far from viewpoint n.1 but with a much better completely amazing view). The rooms had outside on the balcony a table and a cosy sofa seating corner, protected from sun and rain where you could have soothe calm time while enjoying the beautiful sight; you see the whole mountainside and even the river! As Sherry travels a lot herself, she really knows what are the needs for her customers. She was so helpful with everything for us and she gave us much useful information for our next long itinerary. In the open lobby outside (a nice terras with a roof), there are several maps and we even changed our future route. Sitting on the sofas at the terras, the reception girls offered us tea and cookies and we even had a nice chat with English speaking people from Macao. 😊 The rooms, bed and bathroom are confortable and top clean with AC. As of the normal soap, shampoo and hairconditioner there was even bodylotion and disinfectant spray. There are 3 washing machines and a big place to dry your laundry. Just nearby there is a good restaurant and a little shop. In the night there is no noise. As Sherry was so kind, interesting and helpful, we even invited her to France. Hopefully we can see one day again! My husband and me were so happy to have chosen this homestay!"

"I didn't expect guesthouses to be this good nowadays! A day before arrival, the front desk attendant messaged me on WeChat, sending directions, hotel facility introductions, and more. When checking in, she even upgraded us to a room with a view. The room was spacious and bright, meticulously clean in every corner, and came with plenty of complimentary snacks, pastries, and drinks. The hotel uncle was very kind and helped us with our luggage. Since it's a cliffside hotel, the access road is a bit tricky to drive, so the uncle even helped us drive out the next day. All the staff at the hotel were very enthusiastic. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant; the dishes were fresh and delicious. Although the hotel breakfast wasn't extensive, the chef's rice noodles were absolutely amazing, and the small beef buns were delightful. The hotel's public areas are excellent. From the terrace, you can capture beautiful photos of the ******* village, and the view is much better than from the public observation deck. This guesthouse was definitely the highlight of our trip to Danba."

"It’s really a great hostel with stunning scenery. The breakfast is nice too! It’s a bit pity that we reached the hostel very late and had to leave in the early morning. It will be great to spend more time there to enjoy and relax, as well as to explore the area in order to better understand the culture of the *******."

"The experience at Droma's Home in Danba Suopo was wonderful. The courtyard was surrounded by flowers and fruit trees, and the rooms offered views of ancient watchtowers from the windows. The bedding was soft, and the details were impeccable. The owners were like family, picking fresh fruit, providing directions, and even helping to return any luggage left behind. The wild mushroom soup in the kitchen was incredibly delicious, and in the evenings, we would gather around a hot pot to enjoy stories. Laundry and car washes were free. In the mornings, we would wear ******* clothing to photograph the ancient watchtowers, and at night, we would fall asleep to the sound of the Dadu River—there were no tourists here, only the relaxed feeling of ”coming home.” It's a place worth staying for. "Facilities: Although the exterior architecture is in the local style, the interior decoration blends modern and local styles. There's also a private balcony, making it a very comfortable place. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: The environment is fantastic, located within the scenic area, perfectly integrated with nature and the local village. "After booking the room online, the owner called us in advance to ask if we needed any meals and how long we would arrive. They even preheated the room beforehand – a very thoughtful touch. Upon arrival, there were charging stations available, so those with electric vehicles don't need to worry. The room had a distinct ******* cultural theme, and a humidifier kept the air moist at night. The appliances were of excellent quality, using better materials than many chain hotels, showing the owner's dedication. The view from the window was beautiful; you could wake up early and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine in the courtyard. Finally, there were some ******* cultural books on the table, as well as a notebook for writing messages for yourself or the next guest – a thoughtful little touch."

"My stay at Mushan Yingxue Hotel was absolutely perfect! Located right next to the scenic area, it boasts convenient transportation and stunning mountain or grassland views right from the window. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable latex mattresses for a good night's sleep, and the private hot spring bath was incredibly soothing, washing away travel fatigue. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were warm and attentive, showing great care in every detail. With complete facilities, the tranquil and comfortable atmosphere makes it an excellent choice for a relaxing vacation. I've already recommended it to my friends!"

"The Jipo Shangmo Hotel in Danba is a tastefully decorated establishment that seamlessly blends ******* and modern design elements. It's immediately clear that the owner has poured their heart into running it. Speaking of facilities, the hotel features a charming courtyard. It's beautifully elegant, brimming with fresh flowers and succulents, creating an enchanting and tranquil environment perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. Adding to its unique charm, the courtyard houses an ancient watchtower alongside a Tibetan-style building, giving the hotel a profound sense of history and cultural heritage. The hotel offers two room styles: one is traditionally *******, rich in local aesthetics, and the other is modern, sleek, and contemporary. Our modern room was not only spacious and beautifully designed but also featured a balcony. What truly excited us was witnessing a wild pheasant and its chicks strolling on the balcony late one night – a truly unforgettable moment! I must also commend the hotel's kitchen; it's incredibly spacious and, more importantly, impeccably clean and tidy. I even felt compelled to take a photo! On the service front, the owner's family was incredibly warm and hospitable, providing impeccable service. We arrived at 9:40 PM last night, and the owner was already waiting for us at the entrance, helped us park, and even kindly upgraded both of our rooms. Despite our late arrival, the owner's wife prepared a delicious meal for us. Her cooking was absolutely superb and very reasonably priced – truly great value for money! Today at lunch, she even specially made us a complimentary bowl of spicy noodles. It was not only free but also incredibly delicious; we finished every last bite! In summary, our entire family was exceptionally pleased with our stay at the Jipo Shangmo Hotel. Should we have the opportunity to visit Danba County again, we would undoubtedly choose this hotel once more."
