"An unexpected stay that exceeded our expectations, really appreciating the owner's attention to detail. Before check-in, the owner called us in advance, letting us know we could call them with any questions during our trip. On the day of arrival, since it was off-season, they upgraded our room for free and enthusiastically helped us with our luggage. Most importantly, the views from the B&B were fantastic! There were little tips everywhere in the room, showing how thoughtfully the owner runs the place. For instance, the shampoo and shower gel weren't some unknown brands like in other guesthouses. When we left, the owner's sister asked me to leave a review. It just occurred to me today that their place definitely deserves a good review. It was a wonderful part of our trip to Western Sichuan!"

"We had beautiful room for 7 people with a nice view. You get discount to the ticket to village if you stay here. It is simple accomodation in nice village. It was hard to communicate even with translator but it is normal in China."

"The B&B is located in the village, offering expansive views. You can enjoy the swirling morning mist early in the day and the golden peaks illuminated by the sunset later. From any angle within the hotel, you get a perfect view of Mount Moltordo. Perched on a cliff, the rooms are quiet and boast unbeatable views from every direction. The restaurant serves delicious and clean food. A small incident occurred when my husband developed a fever at night, and the kind receptionist immediately found a thermometer and arranged for a driver to take us to the clinic. Beautiful scenery, but even more beautiful people!"

"We arrived late in the afternoon and enjoyed the beautiful view from the terrace looking out over the Zhonglu village and valley floor below. We were greeted by two golden labs that accompanied us as we strolled through the village experiencing the local culture and cuisine. Dinner was excellent, with a hot pot chicken soup with fresh vegetables as well as a delicious egg dish cook cooked in a rich, savory tomato sauce. In the morning, we enjoyed exploring the village and chatting with the locals as well as watching a local fellow building a new house. It was interesting to watch him work, carving the wood into ceiling panels that he hung without any nails or glue. We were also invited to pick as many plums as we could eat from a tree that was simply exploding with ripe juicy plums!"

"The family who runs this gem in Zhonglu is adorable. I was treated like a guest, with every care. I didn't feel like a mere tourist. The village atmosphere and the exquisite, authentic hospitality of this family are among the most beautiful things I remember from my travels. The facility is very clean. Waking up to a view of the mountain swept by swirling clouds is magical. The set dinner (40 yuan) is plentiful and amazing. Thank you!"

"An absolutely wonderful stay! If you love a quiet, pastoral life, you absolutely must consider this place! The owner is incredibly kind, helping with luggage, bringing fresh fruit, and the breakfast was healthy and delicious. Our room was very bright and airy, with several large windows. Opening them at night to enjoy the breeze and fresh air felt like time had slowed down. The B&B has its own parking lot, complete with charging stations. If you stay here, I highly recommend dining in; the ingredients are fresh and tasty, and the dining environment is very comfortable. There are many thoughtful details throughout the property, such as wind chimes hanging in the tree next to the dining area, which create a delightful, crisp sound in the breeze; small bells on the room doors that jingle every time you open them; and a special guestbook for visitors' messages. I read through all the entries – turns out, the previous guests who stayed in this room were quite interesting… My husband and I were both sad to leave before check-out; we truly felt at home here. Next time, we'll pick a sunny day and come back for another stay, and hopefully catch a glimpse of the starry sky over the village."

"The room was bright and airy, and the garden was beautiful. The room had a large balcony and even a water purifier – a pleasant surprise at this high altitude. The owner was very welcoming and helped with our luggage. The barley cakes for breakfast were incredibly delicious, and the yak meat soup with local organic vegetables for dinner was truly wonderful. Parking was also convenient. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay."

"The location of the hotel is excellent, not far from Danba County, just opened in 26 years, the interior is clean and the boss is very enthusiastic. The scenery room, the scenery is excellent, the windows are closed well, and the night is quiet. There is also a projector, which feels similar to the five-star level, so you can stay at ease."

"The butler upgraded us to a loft room with a bathtub. It's a Tibetan-style building, and the interior decor also has a ******* flair. You can step directly from the second floor onto a huge outdoor terrace to enjoy the views. The room was very comfortable, the service was excellent, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. The scenery of the ******* village is beautiful, and the food was delicious. This was the best place to stay during our entire trip through Western Sichuan with no altitude sickness. Highly recommended!"

"We are a couple from the Netherlands, and we had an absolutely wonderful stay at Zhuolonglinka Homestay — an experience we will always remember! From the moment we arrived, we received the warmest and most heartfelt welcome. We were invited to enjoy tea in the beautiful courtyard, where the meals are also served, and immediately felt completely at home. Our room was incredibly spacious, the beds were heavenly comfortable, and the modern bathroom was spotless. In fact, the entire homestay was exceptionally clean. The owners are not only incredibly friendly, but also genuinely caring and attentive to their guests. Every day, we looked forward to breakfast and dinner. The food was delicious, healthy and wonderfully varied, with different dishes prepared each day. As vegetarians, we were especially touched by how thoughtfully they adapted the meals to our wishes. Whenever we mentioned that we would not be returning for lunch, they kindly prepared homemade cakes and bread rolls for us to take along, and even gave us apples from their own orchard. What incredible service and hospitality! They also helped arrange transportation for us and were always happy to think along with us when planning our day. You can clearly see that they have built this beautiful place with so much care and love, and that they are genuinely proud to share their home with their guests. What made our stay even more special was the sincere personal interest they showed in us. Our conversations and the warmth of their hospitality made this feel like much more than simply staying at a homestay — it felt like a truly special and meaningful human connection. The sea of flowers surrounding the homestay was absolutely stunning, just like our entire experience here. Without a doubt, this place deserves a full five stars — and even more! We wholeheartedly recommend Zhuolonglinka Homestay to anyone visiting the area.
