The service strikes the perfect balance – gentle yet attentive. If you're looking for a secluded getaway, this is the ideal spot."

"The guesthouse itself was quite nice. It's a bit far from Danba County, located in the mountains within the scenic area. The roads are flat, the environment is tranquil, and the natural scenery is beautiful. The rooms were spacious, the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and it was even a smart toilet. Overall, the cleanliness was very good, except the toilet wasn't cleaned very thoroughly. The air conditioning was controlled by a panel; I fiddled with it for a while but couldn't figure out how to turn it on, and since it was late, I didn't ask. The blankets were quite warm. The nearby restaurants were also good; I ordered yak hot pot, which was delicious and inexpensive. The downside was that the guesthouse was within the scenic area, so you had to buy an extra ticket, which I didn't know beforehand. Many places offer free admission for accommodation. If you're just passing through and need accommodation, you should consider whether the location is within the scenic area. But personally, I found it more comfortable than staying in the county town, which is a bit small and noisy."

The next morning, I woke up at 7 a.m. to see the morning mist on the rooftop. The owner said that while the weather had been cloudy and misty the previous few days, the sun hadn't risen in the last two days! 😞 The ******* village was still stunning in the morning, and I even caught a glimpse of an unknown bird. "This was my second visit to Danba Jiaju ******* Village. Seeing the good reviews, I decided to give this B&B a try. The environment was indeed very nice and clean, with convenient parking at the courtyard entrance and an electric charging station. I ordered a set dinner menu, which was excellent, and the breakfast was also very good. The room was well soundproofed and very quiet at night. It's close to the first and third viewing platforms. The suite didn't have a separate wet and dry area, and the glass door let in too much light, which was awkward. I suggest adding a separate laundry room and drying area."

Worried about altitude sickness upon our arrival, we deliberately slowed down our itinerary, choosing Danba—with its relatively mild altitude—as our first stop. We had also pre-booked a highly-rated, charming boutique hotel. This careful planning and our choice proved incredibly wise; the hotel completely exceeded our expectations. The moment we arrived, we were utterly captivated by the stunning scenery, unable to tear our eyes away. Its location was simply perfect: rolling green mountains outside our window, a clear blue sky above, clouds occasionally swirling around the peaks, and scattered ******* houses nestled amidst the lush greenery. Every single view felt like a meticulously painted oil masterpiece. My girlfriends and I immediately switched into 'photo mode.' From the vibrant flowerbeds in the courtyard to the viewing platform on the terrace, and even the unique decorations adorning the hallways, every corner held a delightful surprise. Every casual shot turned into a stunning photo, perfect for sharing on social media. We spent over two hours snapping pictures, and even with aching arms, we couldn't bring ourselves to stop. What truly warmed our hearts was the exceptional butler service. He wasn't stiff or bound by rigid protocols; instead, he was genuinely friendly and natural, like hosting dear friends. Knowing our love for photography, he proactively suggested 'hidden photo spots' around the hotel. Seeing us with luggage, he immediately offered assistance. In the evenings, he thoughtfully reminded us about the significant temperature drop in the mountains and to dress warmly. Before we left, we had already made plans with the butler to return when Danba is covered in snow during winter, to enjoy the snowy scenery, soak in the warm springs, and relive this wonderful experience."

"To all my friends visiting Zhonglu ******* Village or using it as a layover, book this guesthouse immediately! As a Chinese person, I'm telling you, this is a genuine recommendation! The moment we arrived, the owner enthusiastically helped us with our luggage and even invited us to pick cherries from his two cherry trees! We arrived quite late, so the owner arranged dinner for us. Although it was 40 RMB per person, it was absolutely worth it. We had chicken soup, three meat dishes, and three vegetable dishes. By the end, we kept saying there was still so much food because there was just so much, and it was delicious! The owner's family was also incredibly kind. The grandma had such a warm smile, chatted with us, and encouraged us to eat more, just like a family elder. We woke up late the next morning, and the owner immediately asked if we wanted breakfast – and it was free! While it was a simple breakfast, it was truly heartwarming. When we left, they even warmly gave us a big bag of walnuts! The owner and his family are so lovely, always smiling, and it was a real pleasure to interact with them. As for the facilities, there's air conditioning and electric blankets, so you don't have to worry about being cold at night – it's very effective! The TV even has screen mirroring! It was also very quiet at night, no disturbances. If 100 is a perfect score, I'd give it 99 points. That one point off is for the road leading up to it, which left my legs feeling weak! Friends, just go for this place!"

"I was so impressed with Cherry, the receptionist! I was impressed with everything. 100/10 score! The accommodation was clean, the atmosphere was great, simple, quiet, and peaceful. The room was spacious, the bathroom and toilet were amazing (automatic system). We had the room all to ourselves on the 4th floor. All the staff were cheerful, helpful, and had outfits to wear! Breakfast might be served a little late, but everyone served with genuine care. I was very impressed with this place and highly recommend it! Ben misses Cherry so much!"

The owner and his family were not only warm and welcoming, but also seasoned travelers, offering us first-time visitors to western Sichuan plenty of excellent advice. The owner and his wife especially enjoyed drinking tea and reading, which perfectly matched the B&B's name!"
