"The location is quite good, very convenient for taking public transport. The room is small, but it has everything you need, and the little balcony is very comfortable. The surroundings are very quiet, as it's a residential area. The room is a bit old, and the hallway is quiet, but the floors feel too thin between levels; you can hear chairs being dragged around. There's no noise at night though. The front desk staff are friendly. You can refill free water daily."

"I was very pleased with my stay. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and even let us check in early. A nice bonus was the free ice available on the ground floor. "The hotel's decor is quite new and the front desk staff are friendly. However, the building itself is a bit old. The soundproofing in the street-facing rooms is poor; it's very noisy, and you can easily hear passing vehicles. There's no screen on the window, and there were several mosquitoes in the room. Furthermore, because my travel companion fell ill and needed surgery, I tried to cancel my reservation twice, five days before check-in, but the hotel refused both times. It felt a bit unaccommodating. In terms of location, while it's not too far from the train station, it's not convenient to walk there if you have luggage. Florence's public transport system is quite bad, often experiencing traffic jams and delays. Also, the hotel is much further from the tram stop than the bus stop, so the location is just mediocre. Regarding cleanliness, the room wasn't cleaned during my two-night stay, which was disappointing. I hope this helps others."

"These are really good apartments. The room has a kitchen, a capsule coffee machine, glasses, a safe, and everything you need for an overnight stay, because you'll spend all your time wandering the amazing streets of Florence, going from bar to bar, from gelato shop to super sandwiches. By the way, I highly recommend Vivoli gelato – definitely try their pistachio ice cream with espresso. And for huge, delicious sandwiches, check out Schiacciateria de Neri. Personally, we didn't like the mattress and pillows in the room; they were too soft, and the Wi-Fi was very poor. Maybe it was just us, or just at that time. We are very grateful to the staff; they were very welcoming and friendly."

"The location is excellent. The room was not very big but comfortable and very clean. The breakfast buffet was good and they serve it on the terrace on the 6th floor where you can enjoy nice views of the city. Environment: Very close to the train station and the city center, both within walking distance. If you're coming from the airport by tram, you can get off at the ROSSELLI stop, which is directly behind the hotel. You don't even need to cross any traffic lights; just follow the map to the hotel. If you get off at the train station, you'll have to drag your luggage over cobblestones, which is quite a workout for your arms. Service: The staff were all very friendly, and attractive too!"

GGuest UserA Hidden Gem in Tuscany – Truly Special We absolutely loved our stay at I Parigi Corbinelli Residenze. This place is truly something special. The residence itself is a charming historic property that has been passed down through generations since the 1500s, and you can feel that beautiful sense of heritage the moment you arrive. The entire compound is incredibly gorgeous, peaceful, and full of character — it feels like a private Tuscan retreat. We arrived later than the official check-in time, but the owner was extremely kind and welcoming. He even called his son to come and help check us in despite the late hour. That level of hospitality really touched us. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The hot water was excellent, the heating system worked perfectly, and we had a beautiful terrace to enjoy the surroundings. Everything felt cozy yet elegant. One of the highlights is the garden and breakfast area. Breakfast is simple but perfect — everything you need for a wonderful start to the day, and enjoying it while looking out over the peaceful garden made the morning feel magical. Another big plus is the very safe parking inside the property, which gave us great peace of mind while traveling. Honestly, the value for money here is incredible. The price they charge is almost underrated for such a beautiful place — it truly deserves more recognition. We also loved that there is a resident dog who played with our dog, which made the stay even more special for us. If our itinerary hadn’t been so packed, we would absolutely have stayed another night. This place is the perfect Tuscan getaway, and we will definitely return next time we are in the area. MMarcos 305Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

AAnonymous UserPros: While we checking in there was someone carrying luggage for us to our room, there was a bottle of wine and two small bottle of water as complimentary for the first night. Location is near to S.M. Novella Station and bus station so it's a perfect. Breakfast was a 4 star standard and the taste more or less the same throughout my trips in 3 different hotels so no complain. Cons: the shower pressure was really small and the heater inside the room was not working, after the first night experience we asked the front desk the next morning if they could check for us but ended up the shower pressure was really small, if there is a measurement lowest from 1 to highest 5, the pressure was definitely 1. So we aren't sure if they did send someone to check or not but one thing for sure they never update us after that and the heater switch remains the same as before I complained. It was really cold. One evening around 7pm - 8pm as the hotel is actually located kinda like an alley and bit darker so a guy was suspiciously following us at our back and we have to almost run back to our hotel and while we ran he speed up as well so it's really scary better not to be alone walk back hotel. Overall, location and breakfast are good. Service could be improved imo.

MM9906****I arrived early on the day of check-in, and even though it was before the official check-in time, the front desk staff proactively helped me get into my room early, which I really appreciated. However, the room I was assigned had a noticeable issue: not only was it right next to a storage room (for some reason, I always get these kinds of rooms in Italy), but there was also a strong sewer smell inside. I initially thought that since they had already accommodated my early check-in, I should just put up with it. But after I showered, the odor got even worse, making it impossible to endure for three consecutive nights. Upon returning later, I went to the front desk to request a room change. This time, a different female staff member was on duty. She seemed very reluctant, her expression showing annoyance and a lack of professionalism. Although she eventually did change my room, the bathroom in the new room was almost half the size of the previous one, and I'm not sure if it was even the same room category. It wasn't until the next day that another front desk attendant proactively apologized for the previous room issues and acknowledged the bad smell. Overall, this stay was a mixed bag, with inconsistent service quality.

MMaria MDAmazing stay. 10 min drive to a parking in the City Center in Florence. Kids loved it, they were tired of hotels, this is a tiny house, lots of families around, camper vans, playground, shop, pool, laundry. The tiny house is super clean, spotless, probably brand new. Very efficient, well organised. We took a premium one, it is already not large for a family. Spotless linen and towels, all duvets were sealed in a bag, looks dry cleaned, fresh. All tableware, cooking ware and cutlery provided. Air conditioner in both rooms, mosquito nets, proper water pressure and hot water. Very nice attentive staff. We checking late in the evening, which was a plus for us, we saw a checking queue in the morning it looked very long. All the best to this place and the team!

GGuest UserOn arrival it felt a bit dated. Furniture is vintage, but once you settle in it adds to the charm. Welcome was great and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Room had a great balcony (4th floor). Bathroom very clean, but shower was small. TV was badly positioned and limited programs due to weak signal. No English news channel. Extremely convenient for station and city sites. I would stay there again.

A well-stocked supermarket is conveniently located just 300 meters away, so we were able to buy steak and fish and cook them ourselves in the apartment. The apartment also features a small garden, perfect for unwinding with an evening drink – it was incredibly relaxing! The embassy is also very close by, which is worth a quick visit. Along the way, there's a charming small park where you can sit and feed the pigeons, which was truly delightful!

GGuest UserExcellent location, excellent treatment and service by all the staff, especially by the receptionist who is there in the mornings and who knows how to speak Spanish. Their kindness and attention: exceptional, the fact that it has a swimming pool, even if it is small, to take a dip especially in summer, with the heat that it is, is an important point to take into account, and although I have read that they do not warn that it does not have an elevator and that in many cases, like us, they send you to the second floor with many steps, it is true, but they also take your suitcases up and down. Without a doubt, I will stay at this hotel again on my next trip to Florence.
