"The bustling downtown and market are just a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Nearly all the staff were incredibly friendly and professional in answering our questions. This trip marked our seven-month anniversary, and it added so many wonderful memories as we head towards our eighth month together. Upon check-in, the hotel learned we were celebrating our anniversary and thoughtfully upgraded us to a mountain-view room. The in-room welcome drinks were incredibly generous, featuring mini beers, plum wine, coke, and Pocari Sweat – essential for rehydration after a soak; they even included face masks to pamper us while we enjoyed the in-room hot spring bath. All the room's fixtures and fittings were new and high-quality: a Toto washlet, a Panasonic 1400 nanoe hairdryer, a thoughtful wooden gua sha massage comb, and hyaluronic acid-infused shower gel that left skin feeling smooth and soft. What truly amazed me were the double-layered automatic curtains (even in the room's private hot spring area!). The double room's bathtub was spacious enough for up to four people – a very comfortable size. In the afternoon, the lobby offered preserved fruits and freshly brewed tea, perfect for a relaxing break after a dip in the outdoor public hot spring. After dinner, they provided handmade kumquat-flavored tofu pudding, and it was unlimited – so generous! (There's a lovely staff member in the lobby, Tina, who's a treasure trove of recommendations for local food and sights; don't hesitate to ask her for her secret list of must-try places!) Last but not least, I highly recommend trying the hotel's breakfast, especially the freshly blanched beef soup. Even my boyfriend, who grew up in Tainan, the home of beef soup, couldn't stop raving about it. *If you're planning a weekday visit like we did and want to try some local famous eateries, be sure to check their opening hours in advance. Many popular spots are only open from Friday to Sunday or during specific hours, like mornings until 2 PM. (Luckily, you can find a lot of food on Uber Eats!) Heartily recommend!"

"We stayed in the Japanese-style mountain view room. The mattress was a bit thin and firm, so it took some getting used to. However, the view from the window was excellent, and we could even catch glimpses of the Lanyang Plain night view from the side of the balcony. This was a one-night, two-meal package. Dinner was at the Yuntian buffet, which offered a wide and delicious selection. The next day, we chose the brunch at Yanboting, which allowed us to sleep in and then head to the meal at our leisure – very relaxing. The brunch was a set menu, but it was very filling. The outdoor hot spring area had an essential oil pool, a fish spa (for pedicures!), and an outdoor swimming pool. The kids had a blast. Overall, it was a happy and comfortable trip."

"The room is of good quality, the bed is comfortable to sleep in, there is no peculiar smell, the sound insulation is acceptable, and it is equipped with air conditioning and heating; the breakfast is rich (there are Chinese and Western meals to choose from), and the meals have changed a little after staying for three consecutive days!"

"Third visit to the Landis Resort & Spa for a family trip! Every time, my family eagerly requests to celebrate birthdays at this wonderful place. My parents can relax in the hot springs, and the kids can happily splash around in the pool. Special thanks to the attentive hotel service and the professional lifeguards for their care. Everyone had a fantastic time! There's also a stunning beach nearby for a lovely stroll. And I highly recommend Fumei Seafood Restaurant. It was another relaxing and perfect trip! ❤️❤️"

"I really wanted to love this hotel because it has some great features, especially for families. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made a positive impression right away. However, there were several downsides that made the experience disappointing. The location feels quite isolated—almost like you’re in the middle of nowhere. While there is a train station about 10 minutes away, getting there with a stroller was difficult and inconvenient due to the lack of sidewalks. Unfortunately, our room had a leaking ceiling that appeared moldy, which was concerning and definitely not what you expect from a hotel of this caliber. On top of that, you can hear trains passing by every so often, which can be disruptive. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was for the kids’ playground and the buffet. While the playground was a nice feature, the buffet did not meet expectations as it was disappointing for a fancy hotel. Overall, the friendly staff were a highlight, but the issues with the room, location, and dining made the stay fall short of expectations."

"This was my second stay at the Wellspring Suite with a King bed at Hotel MU Jiaoxi, and it continues to maintain an excellent standard. The room's layout and flow are well-designed, the king bed is comfortable, and the in-room hot spring bath is incredibly convenient. The water temperature is stable, making for a truly relaxing soak, which is the main reason I chose to stay here again. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; it felt fresh and spotless upon check-in. The hotel's public facilities and environment are still well-maintained. During peak times, some facilities require a short wait, but the overall management is orderly. The staff are friendly and always ready to assist with any issues promptly. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options and is replenished quickly, maintaining a good standard even on this second visit. The hotel's location in Jiaoxi town is very convenient for transportation, making it easy to go out for meals or shopping. Overall, both of my stays have been excellent experiences, making it a great choice for travelers looking to relax and enjoy hot springs in Jiaoxi. I would definitely consider returning in the future."

"The quad room we stayed in had its own bathroom, which was convenient. However, there was some hair on the bathroom floor that hadn't been cleaned. Shortly after we checked in, another guest mistakenly tried to open our door with their key, thinking it was their room, which was a bit startling. I hope there could be more security measures for the room doors to enhance safety. On another note, parking nearby was very convenient."

"This was the first hotel for our family trip, traveling with my 80-year-old grandmother. During our stay, an unexpected emergency occurred with my grandmother, but thanks to the hotel's quick and proactive support, we were able to resolve the situation safely. I was deeply touched by their thoughtful consideration, especially when they proactively offered a 'late check-out' so that my elderly grandmother could rest comfortably and depart at her own pace. This allowed our family, who were quite flustered at the time, to compose ourselves and continue our trip. Beyond just providing accommodation, the service, which prioritized the safety of its guests, ensured that Taiwan's first impression for our entire family was one of 'warmth' and 'trust'. We are truly grateful."

"A friendly hotel, with polite, welcoming staff. The rooms had great WiFi, large TV and as others have said an amazing Japanese style hot spring bath. We thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi pool, snacks during the day (including wine)and trekking nearby. The rooms unfortunately had thin walls/doors so you could hear people around you, beds were small and quite uncomfortable and the ac in the room did not provide heating so we found it quite cold. The dehumidifier in the room was also very loud. Breakfast was good, but would be nice if they made it clear of egg options available. I found it strange the local hot springs were public right outside, this made it seem less secure that anyone can walk in the hotel."
