"If you are still looking for a hotel in Guilin, you can stop searching I rarely write such detailed reviews but this place really deserves it Everything here is amazing - from the location to the service. Every little detail is carefully thought out to make your stay comfortable, relaxing, and stress-free The staff impressed me the most. They notice small details and truly care about guests. At first, I was surprised that even staff members I had never met before already knew my room number. It was a little funny and unexpected 😄 But like this you understand the high level of the service Everyone was so kind to me and always ready to help 🥺 Even if someone doesn’t speak English, they quickly use a translator and do their best to solve any problem The room is beautiful and very comfortable. The bed and pillows are probably one of my favorite parts of the stay - I honestly did not want to leave them! The room has everything you need for a relaxing stay, including nice Chinese tea, coffee, and many small details that make you feel at home like bath salt. Another very useful detail for travelers is the free self-service laundry. When you travel for a longer time, having a place where you can easily wash your clothes is a huge advantage The breakfast was also a wonderful surprise. While traveling around China, I often found that hotel breakfasts were mostly focused on Chinese food, which can sometimes be difficult for international travelers. Here, there is also a great Western breakfast with enough choices Another amazing part is the number of complimentary experiences included in the stay. Fresh fruits every day, afternoon drinks with desserts, cultural activities, and more. Sometimes there are so many things to enjoy that you don’t even want to leave the hotel😅 I especially loved the Chinese calligraphy experience. Writing calligraphy while two lovely parrots sometimes came to sit on my shoulder felt like a real journey into traditional Chinese culture. You can also create small handmade souvenirs, which makes the experience even more memorable The location is perfect, with incredible mountain views all around. And one small detail that I really appreciated: the panoramic windows are always perfectly clean. In many hotels, beautiful views are ruined by dirty windows, but here you can fully enjoy the scenery P.S.: just one small suggestion it would be great to have a “Do not disturb” sign. Some guests may want to have some private time and make sure that nobody enters the room"

"We chose this hotel for our summer trip, and it's super convenient for exploring the pedestrian street and Elephant Trunk Hill. The room was clean and the overall service was good. My only concern is that two fire escape doors on our floor were locked, and the windows had safety restrictors, only allowing them to open a tiny crack. That felt very unsafe. Other than that, everything else was great."

"The garden is huge, with six peacocks roaming freely and casually, not shying away from people. The aunt responsible for feeding the peacocks was warm and friendly, proactively sharing interesting facts about them and patiently answering the children's questions. She even gave us some naturally shed peacock feathers, which made the kids incredibly happy. Osmanthus Fragrans is even more worthwhile with people like you!"

"I chose the Qiao CIAO Hotel for my short stay in Guilin, and its riverside location right by the Li River is absolutely fantastic! It's been raining lightly recently, and the infinity pool on the first floor looks incredibly inviting. The pool water seems to blend seamlessly with the outdoor mountain scenery, and a gentle breeze just makes you feel completely relaxed. I booked a twin room, and it was spacious and brand new. The lighting was warm and inviting, and there was a large bathtub – perfect for a relaxing soak after exploring the mountains and rivers, it really helped me unwind. You absolutely must try the Guilin rice noodles for breakfast. A warm bowl of it is incredibly satisfying, and you can add as many toppings as you like. There's also a good variety of fruits and pastries, so you can take your time and enjoy your meal without rushing. The ambiance, rooms, and breakfast were all excellent. This short trip was incredibly comfortable, and I'd definitely recommend considering this hotel if you're visiting Guilin!"

It truly shows genuine understanding and empathy for guests' difficulties, which is particularly rare and comforting during a trip. I highly recommend it for families. Our stay at the Sheraton Guilin far exceeded our expectations. I have to give a huge thumbs-up to the hotel's considerate service! As a family traveling with a child, the hotel was very thoughtful, proactively offering complimentary breakfast vouchers for the little one, making it incredibly family-friendly. When my spouse suddenly developed a fever and felt unwell during our trip, the hotel staff promptly delivered several bottles of drinking water upon learning of the situation. This kind of humanistic care is truly heartwarming when you're far from home. We had a night train, and the normal check-out time would have been quite stressful. However, the hotel was incredibly accommodating, offering us a complimentary late check-out until 6 PM. This allowed my family to rest comfortably without the hassle of rushing with our luggage, solving our biggest problem. The room was clean, hygienic, tidy, and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, the location was excellent, and the service was absolutely outstanding, making sightseeing and getting around very convenient. This established five-star hotel not only provides excellent facilities but, more importantly, offers warm and empathetic service, especially when guests encounter unexpected situations. I sincerely recommend this hotel for family trips. Next time we visit Guilin, the Sheraton will definitely be our top choice."

"Absolutely loved this place! I visited during peak season, and it offered great value for money. It's located right by Rong Lake, and it's just an 8-minute walk to Elephant Trunk Hill, which is practically a landmark from our school textbooks. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and genuinely friendly. I arrived at 10 AM, and they let me check in early, which was a huge plus – no waiting required! The air conditioning in the room was powerful, and the breakfast spread was impressive with a good variety, including douhua (tofu pudding), the local specialty oil tea, and Guilin rice noodles. The room was fully equipped with smart devices; you could control everything just by speaking, which was both novel and incredibly convenient. It truly made for an amazing experience!"
