"Choosing Atour Hotel Changbaishan North Slope Erdaobaihe Collection Center for our trip to the Changbai Mountain North Slope was an excellent decision. Its location is a major plus. The hotel is very close to the North Slope collection center, just a few minutes' drive away, so there's no rush to get to the mountain early in the morning. Wetland parks and deer parks are within walking distance, making leisure and dining incredibly convenient. It's also very close to the town's food street and market, making getting around hassle-free.
The room was clean and tidy, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, allowing us to rest well after a tiring hike. The smart facilities were complete, the bathroom had a wet/dry separation, hot water was stable, and the humidifier helped with the dry climate of Changbai Mountain. The front desk service was warm and attentive, patiently explaining hiking注意事项 (precautions) and routes. The lobby thoughtfully provided fruit tea, and the self-service laundry and drying facilities were complete, making it easy to wash clothes during our trip. Breakfast offered a rich variety of nutritious options, ensuring we were full and energized for the mountain. The overall environment was quiet and elegant, with complete amenities and great value for money. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Changbai Mountain North Slope, and I would choose to stay here again on my next trip! Five-star recommendation!"

"This is a small, privately-owned hotel. I checked the online reviews before booking, and my stay was… okay. The room wasn't very big, and for the same price, I could have chosen the Lavande Hotel across the street. The facilities were relatively new, but there was a smoky smell when I entered. There are two restaurants downstairs that are open quite late at night. Getting around by taxi from here usually costs about 8 yuan, which is the starting fare. There's basically no one overseeing guests entering or leaving the hotel. Outside, it's a free-for-all for parking. The hotel robot delivered takeout quite quickly, and the front desk staff were responsive. I still recommend choosing a chain hotel; they might be more convenient in all aspects. The food inside Enduli was pretty good, and Tao Xiaochuan had a great taste. Changbai Mountain is mostly just various legends, I guess. Renting clothes at the foot of the mountain is convenient and practical; you don't need to bring your own. Nearby hotels like Puyue are all clustered together; the town isn't big, so you can stay anywhere."

"It's hard to believe this is a five-star hotel. First, upon arrival, we were told that the room we booked didn't include hot springs, and we'd have to pay an extra 198 per person. However, the online booking price was only 2 yuan more. Be sure to check the dropdown list carefully when booking, or you'll be ripped off at the front desk. Second, the hotel environment was frankly disappointing. I've never seen such a shabby and noisy lobby; it was like a marketplace, and I couldn't even hear the front desk staff. The room was so small it was hard to turn around, and everything felt outdated. Plus, the location is extremely remote; only two restaurants showed up on food delivery apps… Finally, since we had no choice but to eat at the hotel, the restaurant prices were exorbitant, clearly designed to fleece customers, with no other options available. The breakfast selection was also very limited and lacked any local specialties. It was crowded, and the service couldn't keep up; I waited 20 minutes in line for noodles. All in all, I do not recommend this hotel!"

"This Vienna Hotel in Changbai Mountain exceeded my expectations, very satisfied! The area where the hotel is located seems to be a relatively new hotel district, clean and tidy, and very quiet. We drove here, and there's parking right in front. It's only a few minutes' drive to the restaurants in Erdaobaihe town center and the Yunding Market. The room was clean, though a small fridge would have been a nice bonus. The breakfast was quite abundant, with both Chinese and Western options, and the variety was decent. The small wontons were pretty good; if you don't set your expectations too high, you should be happy. After we checked out, we accidentally left our child's sandals behind, and the staff proactively contacted us to help mail them, which we really appreciated! A great choice for family travel!"

2. The location is within walking distance of the distribution center, and there are many dining options nearby. There's a BBQ place with pretty good food. The area is very safe, if you know what I mean.
3. The staff are very friendly. My room had a bathtub, which I hadn't seen in the pictures, so I didn't bring anything for a bath – a bit of a shame! The air conditioning was powerful. This room could easily sleep seven people; we only used less than half of the upstairs tatami area. The kids could roll around in bed without fear of falling off.
4. The guy who picked us up from the station was very chatty and gave us a lot of useful tips!"

"An impeccable stay! It rained all day on July 7th in Erdaobaihe, and after getting off the high-speed train, we wanted to experience taking the local bus, so we didn't ask the hotel to arrange a pick-up. However, the bus stop was still a bit of a walk from the hotel. What truly touched us was that the hotel's front desk specially sent staff to pick us up at the bus stop in the rain! The hotel's soft and hard furnishings are all top-notch! As a result, I've already contacted my relatives to come and stay here too. Wishing the hotel a prosperous business and continued success!"

The kids said it was the first time they'd had beef noodles that actually looked like the pictures, not just 'images for reference only'! "The actual hotel looks nothing like the pictures online; those are heavily photoshopped to look clean. In reality, the surrounding shops and parked cars outside are a messy sight. The 'hot spring' is just a few pools on the rooftop, and when I went, two of them were being drained, with two or three men and boys already soaking in the others. The hotel breakfast offered very little variety, just enough to fill you up, so don't expect much. The only upside is its proximity to Genting Market and Endou Valley. Erdaobaihe Town itself is quite beautiful, and I visited on the hottest day of the year."

Travel butler service: Butler Da Ling'er provided attentive service and was always responsive. She was thoughtful and considerate; knowing we were immediately heading to Tianchi and our child hadn't eaten yet, she quickly prepared fruits and snacks in a bag for us to eat on the way.
Unlimited access to the Lan Jing Julong Hot Springs for 3 adults and 1 child: After a tiring trip around Tianchi in the heavy rain, the hot springs were a therapeutic and relaxing experience for both body and mind.
Lan Jing is the closest to the Old Mountain Gate, and the hotel's shuttle bus is the first stop, making everything very convenient. Choose Lan Jing if you're going to Tianchi. Highly recommended."

Room: We received an upgrade to a mountain view room, and on clear days, you could see Changbai Mountain. The room was comfortable, and upon entering, there was a pleasant, comforting scent. The butler service was excellent. They communicated with us before check-in, arranged pickup, and proactively checked in after we settled to ensure everything was satisfactory and promptly resolve any issues. Their inquiries weren't just procedural; they genuinely solved problems.
Breakfast and Dinner: Breakfast offered both Chinese and Western options, easily meeting five-star standards. We left feeling full and satisfied. For dinner, we had the hot pot set for two, which was definitely filling. The restaurant staff were all very warm and friendly. We felt one of the hams in the hot pot set had too much starch and asked to swap it for another dish. Although items in the set couldn't be changed, the manager still offered us a fruit platter as an apology.
Environment: The hotel felt very homey and family-friendly. There were small animals for kids to enjoy and a coffee bookstore for business travelers. The attention to detail was impressive. The complimentary bar drink coupon even included a glass of red wine, which my friend said was excellent – an imported Chilean wine.
Activities: Although Changbai Mountain canceled the hotel's VIP park access, we could still use the old mountain gate, which was more convenient than the regular tourist entrance. A tip for everyone: pre-booked tickets cannot be used even a second before your scheduled time, so don't arrive too early.
We booked a stream trekking activity through the hotel and had a fantastic time, so much so that we missed our return bus. We contacted our butler, and they specially dispatched a private car to pick us up from the scenic area.
We had a wonderful time during our two-day stay. All the staff were incredibly friendly. No matter if your request was outside their usual scope of responsibility, they handled it with kindness, actively sought solutions, and did everything they could. My accompanying friend, who has stayed in many high-end hotels both domestically and internationally, was also very impressed. They even said the service was better than some hotels costing ten thousand a day. Upon departure, we were given a small fridge magnet as a souvenir. The service was meticulously attentive.

GGuest UserWe were driving ourselves and had a bit of trouble finding the hotel parking once we arrived in the area near the scenic spot. The front desk staff guided us remotely to the parking, saving us the hassle of driving around in circles. The check-in process was handled with a constant smile, and they proactively recommended authentic local Korean ethnic cuisine. They also thoroughly explained the locations of nearby supermarkets, shopping malls, and gas stations. The check-out process was simple and quick, with no hidden fees. The staff were meticulous and genuinely warm-hearted in their service.

HHannahMErdaobaihe is a really sweet, cozy little town. Although it’s not located in the main town area, it is just opposite the beautiful pine forest, which makes the surroundings very peaceful.
There are free buses available to travel within the town, which is very convenient. However, as we can’t read Chinese, we mostly relied on Didi instead.
Getting a Didi can be a bit challenging due to the limited number of drivers, but as long as you’re willing to wait 5–15 minutes, you should be able to get one. The people in the town are very warm and welcoming.
We visited Enduli, and it was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable. The morning view from our room was magical. The room itself was spacious, and the bathroom was equipped with a smart toilet with a heated seat, which was a nice touch.
There was a small issue where we found a strand of hair on the bed when we opened the bedsheet. We didn’t make a fuss as I had my own disposable bedsheet prepared. Despite this minor incident, the overall stay was wonderful.
What really made this place special was Aunty Wu. She was always there for us and even woke up at 6am just to bid us goodbye. When we were looking for laundry services, she kindly offered to wash our clothes in-house. With my OCD, I was especially touched that she even warmed my laundry bag for me - such a thoughtful gesture.
Will definitely be back

MM35346****Huge thanks to the lovely front desk lady who upgraded my room! One of the staff members was truly amazing, and I really appreciate her efforts and kindness. There's a great 'iron pot stew' restaurant about 200 meters to the left when you exit the hotel – the food was delicious and I'd definitely recommend it. The owner even suggested we try ice fishing! However, apart from the excellent service from that one staff member, the hotel's facilities and room amenities were pretty average. I didn't feel it offered great value for money. The pictures are dedicated to that wonderful lady who brightened our stay.

SSmilexiaojiebuaipashanErdaobaihe Town is about 2 kilometers away from the bustling downtown area with many restaurants, making it convenient to get to Enduoli and Yunding Market. Food delivery is also easy to order, with robots delivering right to your door.
Mermaid Pine Park is just across the street. The room facilities and decor are quite good, and the hygiene is excellent. The breakfast looks abundant, but in reality, the variety isn't particularly wide, though the taste is decent.
A highlight of the hotel is its hot springs. Besides being free for guests, they also welcome external visitors, so there's a fair amount of foot traffic.
The hot springs feature indoor pools on the first and second floors. On the third or fourth floor (I can't recall which), there are many saunas and various themed relaxation rooms, including stone, mugwort, and traditional Chinese medicine saunas with different temperatures. The fifth floor has an outdoor swimming pool area.
The management is quite mature; the whole process of getting a hand tag, changing shoes, changing clothes, and returning the tag is very smooth and convenient. Visually, the hygiene also seems good. There are several attentive aunties in the changing rooms who actively guide you.
There are small spin dryers in the changing rooms, which are handy. If you rinse your swimsuit and use the dryer, it will dry much faster.
Overall, the experience was very good. If you choose to stay in Erdaobaihe, this place offers good facilities and hot springs to enjoy.

Zzhai_liliThe high temperatures persisted, so we came to Changbai Mountain to escape the heat and stayed at the Yunshuilanting Hotel. Upon check-in, Manager Dong, knowing we were two seniors over 70, provided us with the warmest service imaginable. She patiently explained the surrounding area, important considerations, and evening activities, and even brought us local seasonal blueberries. It felt like home, with the warmth of children around us. Despite it being peak tourist season and the hotel being fully booked, the cleanliness and dining were still top-notch. Of all the places we've stayed in Changbai Mountain over the past few days, this was by far the best experience. Manager Dong is an excellent leader, managing an outstanding service team.

DDongdazhiziRight at check-in, we were given two warm bottles of Changbai Mountain mineral water. The room was standard, and the heating was very strong – we had to sleep with the window open. The hot springs, however, are in a separate building, and you have to walk through the lobby on the ground floor to get to them. The lobby and the breakfast area on the second floor weren't warm enough, making it easy to catch a cold after coming back from the hot springs. The hot springs themselves are communal and only have a few small pools; it's not really worth going unless you just want a quick taste of Changbai Mountain's hot springs.

When we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and offered us a free room upgrade, which was a wonderful surprise. The hotel is located away from the noisy commercial areas, making it exceptionally quiet and ideal for resting before heading up the mountain. Our room was spotless, the bedding was soft, the facilities were comprehensive, and there was plenty of hot water. It also has its own private parking, which is very convenient if you're driving, and it's a short distance to the North Scenic Area of Changbai Mountain. The staff were gentle and polite, responding promptly to any requests, and there were no hidden charges. Overall, it's excellent value for money. We had a peaceful night's sleep and were full of energy for our hike the next day. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Changbai Mountain!

SSunflower917Here’This resort hotel was the most satisfying stay of our entire 8-day China trip across Harbin, Changbaishan, Xuexiang, and Yabuli. We stayed in a family residence unit, which allowed all of us to live together comfortably under one household.
The resort is extremely clean and well-maintained. Our unit even included a mahjong table and a private hot spring, which made the stay very enjoyable. Although the price is not cheap, it is definitely worth the money.
The butler service was excellent — the staff were attentive and always did their best to accommodate our requests.
Highly recommended. I’m confident you will have a pleasant and memorable stay here.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, they were well-maintained, and the rooms were clean and tidy, making me feel very comfortable.
The hotel staff deserves the most praise; everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. We had originally planned to visit Changbai Mountain, but the mountain was closed due to weather, disrupting our plans. We are very grateful to the hotel manager, Fang Lin, and our driver, Zhang Ming, for proactively helping us rearrange our itinerary. They recommended and assisted us with activities such as snowmobile rides, horse-drawn sleigh rides, skiing, and ice fishing, ensuring our trip was still exciting and fulfilling.
We are from the south and this was our first time in Northeast China, and we had never tried frozen pears before. When Zhang Ming saw this, he specially treated us to frozen pears, making us feel incredibly thoughtful and cared for.
Throughout the entire trip, the staff promptly helped resolve any problems we encountered; their service was truly excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel.
