"The actual hotel looks nothing like the pictures online; those are heavily photoshopped to look clean. In reality, the surrounding shops and parked cars outside are a messy sight. The 'hot spring' is just a few pools on the rooftop, and when I went, two of them were being drained, with two or three men and boys already soaking in the others. The hotel breakfast offered very little variety, just enough to fill you up, so don't expect much. The only upside is its proximity to Genting Market and Endou Valley. Erdaobaihe Town itself is quite beautiful, and I visited on the hottest day of the year."

"Staying at Crowne Plaza Changbaishan Hot Spring Hotel offers a one-stop solution for dining, entertainment, and relaxation! This was my first time in Changbaishan, and choosing a hot spring hotel was an incredibly smart decision 😁 The hotel is right by the North Gate (Old Gate), just a 3-minute walk away, which is super convenient. This gate is exclusively for hotel guests, so there are very few people. You need to book your tickets 7 days in advance via WeChat Mini Program. The hotel front desk will issue a paper voucher, and you can enter at your reserved time. The shuttle bus takes you directly to the transfer center. For the return journey, you'll go to the new North Gate, and the hotel provides a shuttle service there too. All in all, it's extremely convenient! The hotel lobby has direct access to the hot springs, and you can enter as many times as you like during your stay. Soaking in the hot springs after a hike is just incredibly comfortable 😜 The Garden Restaurant on the first floor offers a rich buffet breakfast. For dinner, they have hot pot sets that are great value for money. Coming back from hiking to a warm hot pot is simply delightful! The hotel's back garden has pets for viewing. The alpacas are plump, and the sika deer are very friendly and super cute! Our stay included two activity options: off-road vehicle and cable car sightseeing (at Heping Ski Resort) and adventure溪溯 (at Julong Volcanic Pumice Forest Cold Spring). Both were excellent! You need to book one day in advance, and the hotel provides a paper voucher and arranges transportation. The scenery was stunning, we had a fantastic time, and took many amazing photos 🤗 The hotel assigned us a dedicated butler who was responsible for our entire stay. They communicated with us in advance to arrange high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off, and reminded us of various important details. This made our stay effortless and worry-free, and the overall experience was superb!"

It's right in the bustling heart of Erdaobaihe, within walking distance to the Yunding Market, Enduli, and the North Slope distribution center, which saves a lot on taxi fares. The room isn't huge, but it's spotless. When I checked in, I wiped everything down with alcohol, and there wasn't a speck of dust. However, for daily room cleaning, you need to inform the front desk. If you need the trash changed or the bathroom cleaned, remember to message the front desk via WeChat. My track record for choosing hotels is impeccable, and here's a tip I'd like to share: when picking a hotel, always check its opening date, the ratio of positive to negative reviews, and the content of the negative reviews. If negative reviews mention hygiene issues or pests, 80% of the time it's the hotel's fault, and I wouldn't recommend staying there. If the negative reviews are about service, 80% of the time it's the customer's issue. Before booking Banshan · Yubai, I saw negative reviews mostly about poor service, but honestly, the guesthouse owner is very amiable. The owner is probably an introvert; he speaks slowly and doesn't initiate conversations, but if you bring up an issue, he'll resolve it immediately. On the day I checked in, the toilet in my room was leaking, and the maintenance worker hadn't arrived. The owner himself squatted down to help us stop the leak. When there was a typhoon and we had nowhere to go, we asked the owner, and he readily offered suggestions. Personally, even as a paying customer, I believe basic human courtesy and respect should be present. As long as you don't think that just because you're spending money, you're the absolute center of the universe, I highly recommend Banshan · Yubai. On a side note, the breakfast is good, and the two ladies in the kitchen are also very nice!"

"My best friend and I came to Dynasty Holy Land Hot Spring for a relaxing getaway, and the experience truly exceeded our expectations! The hotel environment is elegant and clean, with a great atmosphere, perfect for girls to take photos. The hot springs offer a rich variety, and after soaking, all the fatigue in my body was soothed away. It was very pleasant whether we were chatting or just relaxing. The room was tidy and comfortable, with complete facilities, so we rested exceptionally well. The staff were warm, polite, and provided attentive and thoughtful service, responding promptly to our needs. "The room was incredibly spacious, which I really appreciated! Especially when the afternoon sun streamed in upon arrival, it felt wonderful. The small bed's mattress was a bit firm but perfectly fine for sleeping. The hot springs were very crowded, so soaking in the room's bathtub was a good alternative. The staff were all very welcoming. The breakfast selection wasn't super extensive, but it depends on your taste; you'll definitely get enough to eat. The only issue was the weak air conditioning in the breakfast area, though the room's AC was excellent. The coffee in the lobby was quite good, worth trying. Parking was convenient, with plenty of space right out front."

"I was a bit hesitant about booking this hotel after reading so many reviews and Redbook posts, but in the end, I decided to go for it because the hotel environment seemed good, and with a 1.5-year-old baby, we'd spend a lot of time at the hotel. When we first arrived, it was indeed a bit old, as other guests had mentioned, which was a slight disappointment. However, it wasn't as bad as some made it out to be, and of course, it can't compare to five-star hotels from major chain groups. What truly stood out was the incredibly warm service. Unlike the somewhat cold and formal guidance you sometimes get at other five-star hotels, the staff here were genuinely enthusiastic. They reminded me to schedule the private hot spring, provided hot tea every day, and were available to answer any travel questions via WeChat. The driver they arranged was also exceptionally helpful and enthusiastic – highly recommend! The breakfast selection was indeed small, but the taste was genuinely excellent. The Cantonese dim sum was even better than what I've had at some restaurants in Guangzhou! Plus, the restaurant is situated right above the river, offering fantastic views. The complimentary dinner was also delicious. Ordering additional items might be a bit pricey, but the food here was definitely the best we'd had during our stay in Erdaobaihe Town. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends next time."

"The location is nice, right next to the door about 200m is the slope to 恩都里. The staff is hospitable. The “lake” mentioned in the introduction is actually part of the park. I guess there would be ducks and flowers in other seasons. Yet, the bathroom and toilet in our room are not separated by a proper wall, but instead by glass doors and walls, so you literally shxt in front of the bed if you do not close the door. But well, you get what you paid… ："

"Love the homestay! Glad to have a very warm hearted & helpful house keeper. She provided a very good service & travel suggestions during our stay. The boss was very kind & friendly as well. We were truly enjoy our stay, big room with comfy double beds that suits for a family of 4 like us. The room we booked includes a big living room, kitchen & washing machine that really brought us convenience. The automated system in the room impressed us as well & my kids enjoy calling Xiao Du. "The room was clean and spacious, with a huge tatami area. The location is excellent, with restaurants and supermarkets just a few hundred meters away, easily accessible on foot. It's only a few minutes by taxi to the Chi Bei Distribution Center, and also very close to Enduli and Qiushuiya Park. They also offer pick-up and drop-off services to the high-speed rail station. When we left, I scheduled a pick-up for 6:20 AM, and the boss was already waiting before 6 AM. We had a very comfortable stay. Erdaobaihe is a place worth taking your time to experience."
