"I was really happy with my choice to stay at Ibis for my trip to Changbai Mountain! The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a ten-minute drive to the North Slope scenic area of Changbai Mountain, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it super convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, the hot water was consistent, and the AC kept the whole room cool. They also have a self-service laundry room, which was really handy for washing clothes after sightseeing. The front desk staff were warm, thoughtful, and efficient with check-in. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, enough to fill you up before heading to the mountain. Overall, it's the consistent quality you'd expect from a standard chain hotel, offering great value for money. It's perfect for a short trip to Changbai Mountain, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time."

"Facilities: New Cleanliness: Smart Environment: Similar to Nianhua Bay, parking around the hotel, it should be better once fully built. Service: 3.5, a bit low because of a minor oversight in cleaning on the first day, and some staff seemed unfamiliar with the surroundings. Minibar: Generous Travel worry-free - Changbaishan High-speed Rail Station pick-up/drop-off service: Came by plane, haven't used it yet. First time writing a Ctrip review, doing a task for a good rating. The front desk and breakfast area staff deserve full marks for their patience with the elderly. Others should learn from them (even though it's part of their job). The small self-service restaurant was surprisingly exquisite, delicious, and flavorful. It would be great if they could offer afternoon tea in the future. It doesn't necessarily have to follow other hotels with lunch and dinner. The restaurant across from the hotel window had a Golden Osmanthus fish that was rich and flavorful, just to my liking. Keep up the good work climbing the North Slope! This is a great place for everyone to relax and unwind. Suggestion: Suites could include a coffee capsule machine to enhance the stay experience. If it rains, you can happily stay in the hotel and enjoy a series of activities ^_^ The arcade coin experience was great. Although I didn't win, it would be nice if they offered a small plush toy 🧸, but that's just a personal suggestion."

"This is a great hostel with relatively new facilities. Usually, places with many guests struggle with cleanliness, but this one was remarkably clean compared to other hostels. The functional zones were well-arranged, and the lounge area on the first floor was spacious enough. The only minor issue was that the signal wasn't great in the rooms located on the side. I stayed in either an 8-bed or 6-bed dorm, and surprisingly, there were fewer people in the larger dorms, with others opting for private rooms and smaller. Overall, this town is very pleasant, and this hostel was an excellent choice for my four-night stay."

"1. **Location:** For those visiting the northern slope of Changbai Mountain, I highly recommend staying here. It's very close to the main street, making dining incredibly convenient. It's also a short distance to Edelweiss Park, Scaly-sided Merganser Park, and the Enduri. There's even a small courtyard on the second floor where you can play in the snow. 2. **Environment:** The rooms are clean and tidy, with all-new and complete facilities. Both bedrooms are spacious, and there's even an electric heated 'kang' (bed). 3. **Service:** The owner is very warm and arranged for a car to pick us up from the station. I forgot to take photos of the room, so the picture is of the courtyard downstairs where we played in the snow. As someone from the south, this was my first time seeing snow in the north, and I was truly delighted! Everyone I met in the Northeast was so welcoming, the Northeastern cuisine was delicious, and Erdaobaihe Town itself is beautiful."

"Service: I have to say, the service here is truly excellent. I initially thought having a room on the third floor would be inconvenient, but the staff helped with our luggage and mentioned the great view. Indeed, our small balcony offered magnificent mountain views during the day and spectacular fireworks at night. This is definitely the best spot in Enduri to watch the fireworks! The owner kept repeating, 'If you have any issues, just call the front desk, 24/7.' And true to his word, when we checked out, the owner asked if we'd booked a car. I said I hadn't noticed when booking, and he said again, 'Didn't I tell you to call the front desk if you need anything?' He then immediately drove us to the high-speed rail station, explaining that airport/station transfers are included. It's truly thoughtful. The puppies and bunnies here are also very friendly. If you're coming to the North Slope, you absolutely must experience this place!"

"Stayed from September 1st-3rd with friends. Room: We received an upgrade to a mountain view room, and on clear days, you could see Changbai Mountain. The room was comfortable, and upon entering, there was a pleasant, comforting scent. The butler service was excellent. They communicated with us before check-in, arranged pickup, and proactively checked in after we settled to ensure everything was satisfactory and promptly resolve any issues. Their inquiries weren't just procedural; they genuinely solved problems. Breakfast and Dinner: Breakfast offered both Chinese and Western options, easily meeting five-star standards. We left feeling full and satisfied. For dinner, we had the hot pot set for two, which was definitely filling. The restaurant staff were all very warm and friendly. We felt one of the hams in the hot pot set had too much starch and asked to swap it for another dish. Although items in the set couldn't be changed, the manager still offered us a fruit platter as an apology. Environment: The hotel felt very homey and family-friendly. There were small animals for kids to enjoy and a coffee bookstore for business travelers. The attention to detail was impressive. The complimentary bar drink coupon even included a glass of red wine, which my friend said was excellent – an imported Chilean wine. Activities: Although Changbai Mountain canceled the hotel's VIP park access, we could still use the old mountain gate, which was more convenient than the regular tourist entrance. A tip for everyone: pre-booked tickets cannot be used even a second before your scheduled time, so don't arrive too early. We booked a stream trekking activity through the hotel and had a fantastic time, so much so that we missed our return bus. We contacted our butler, and they specially dispatched a private car to pick us up from the scenic area. We had a wonderful time during our two-day stay. All the staff were incredibly friendly. No matter if your request was outside their usual scope of responsibility, they handled it with kindness, actively sought solutions, and did everything they could. My accompanying friend, who has stayed in many high-end hotels both domestically and internationally, was also very impressed. They even said the service was better than some hotels costing ten thousand a day. Upon departure, we were given a small fridge magnet as a souvenir. The service was meticulously attentive. "If you are traveling during winter, it's a lovely place to stay, it's like a condo rent out of that sort, during the snow season does look like a santa town, a small village with decor surrounded with lights, very christmasy. Big apartment, we booked 2 bedrooms room type, heat, hot water etc all equipped. Cleanliness is great the first day, sloppy afterwards, stains on floors from day 2 til the day we left. We stayed for 5 nights. Service wise still quite good, 阳阳 is very responsive, 5 stars for her. But it's noisy every morning, there were 3 morning straight I got woken up by the noises at like 6am, other guests or staffs loud chats, banging sounds, furnitures moving around etc.... usually from 6-8 am. Breakfast is horrible though 😆 Overall, it's still a good option."

"Traveling during the off-peak season, the hotel was excellent, and the front desk was incredibly responsible, taking care of everything. The hotel even has its own shuttle service with drivers who pick you up and drop you off wherever you need to go, and they even help you bargain! Much appreciated. Soaking in the hot springs while it snowed, then hitting the slopes at 8:30 AM – it was a fantastic experience."

"Pleasantly surprised! I never expected to find a hotel with such excellent design in the North. It really exceeded my expectations. Here's a hidden gem for photos: check out the corridor in their hot spring changing room – it's incredibly futuristic. Remember the lab corridor where the female protagonist wakes up in Resident Evil? It's just like that!"

"I had always wanted to stay at Jiuzhai Yongguichuan, and since Changbaishan had just opened, I specifically chose to come to the North Slope this time, forgoing the West Slope resort. If this review had been written yesterday, it might not even have received a three-star rating, but since the hotel made an effort to adjust yesterday, I'm giving it four stars overall. From an environmental perspective, there's nothing to fault; the decor and design are excellent, and I really liked the room. However, my check-in experience on the first day was: The service attitude was very good, but they were incompetent at actually getting things done. The problems included: absolutely no turndown service (I had asked the front desk about this during check-in, and they said someone would come find us upon arrival, which never happened); The so-called welcome ceremony was just two glasses of water and three pieces of *dagaos* (rice cakes), with no ladies in traditional attire as advertised; My stored luggage couldn't be found by the front desk; There were no coffee beans for breakfast 😂; The curtain in the room was broken, and I was woken up by the light at 5 AM...; There were only mineral water bottles, no soft drinks as listed; And all services were incredibly slow, giving me the impression that the service was more like a private guesthouse than a hotel – very chaotic. Because the check-in experience was so unsatisfactory, I provided feedback yesterday. After yesterday's feedback, today's breakfast had coffee, and the room was also changed. This was quite good :) For a hotel at this price point, my experience at Yongguichuan this time was still a bit disappointing, mainly regarding breakfast and service."
