It's a quiet oasis despite being in a bustling area, and the place is kept incredibly clean and tidy every day – highly, highly recommend! You don't have to worry at all if you're traveling solo; most guests are independent travelers, so it's easy to find someone to explore with. As they say, you find your friends on the road here, haha! Many people come here based on recommendations from friends, so if you're reading this, just book it! I'll definitely be recommending this place to my good friends too. Lao Huang offers some unique outdoor activities, and before you know it, everyone gets to know each other really well. "Even during our stay we never saw anybody in reception, they managed to leave us a lovely paper note written in english with our key, that was a very cute detail from them. Most of everything is self service and you pay with wechat if you need a bier o whatever. The cleaning is ok, it needs more deep cleaning but is ok. As other similar hotels in this city, the smell to cigarrete in the room is there sticked to everything. Free towels in the reception (you will need to translate it to realise of it) The air con of our room was working sometimes. just 100 m away you can take a direct bus to the north station. If you dont know how to read chinese, The entrance was quite diffiicult to find it. Just go to the end of the halley and then turn right."

"The last two pictures are of the Youth Hostel. The first one is on the seventh floor with stairs. Those with big boxes should be careful. The takeaway guy actually brought the rice noodles I ordered to me. It might be the off-season. I was the only one in the whole Youth Hostel and didn't see the boss. Guilin is still very fun. I couldn't finish three taels of Guilin rice noodles for 6 yuan. I was so full. The 8.9 yuan I ordered for the two dishes at Pinhao Fan was delicious. The price was reasonable. The Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas and Elephant Trunk Hill were also very nice. After playing for a day, I went to Yangshuo. The prices there were much more expensive than in Guilin. This restaurant has a lot of graffiti and is very sentimental. I will come again, but I am a little scared to be alone."

I feel very lucky to find such a hostel near the high-speed rail station. It really feels like returning home when you stay. Hygiene: Because I also live here on weekdays, my grandmother's hygiene is very good, especially the beds, which really do a change for each guest. I also learned when I chatted with my grandmother that when I usually cleaned the quilt cover, I would add some white vinegar, more expensive but clean washing powder, so the bed when I checked in was very clean, and there was a faint fragrance of washing powder. This is really good, because I personally hate to live in a hotel near the train station, because according to many years of travel experience, the possibility of the hotel near the train station is very high. But the old place of the grandmother's house, there is no need to worry about this problem. It's really like at home, and the hygiene is very clean. Even the bathroom of the public bathroom is very clean. Environment: It is really close to Guilin North Station, and you can enter the station in six minutes after the test. And it is more convenient to find food around. It is inserted here. When I asked my grandmother to help me recommend the rice noodle shop, she took me two people out to find which noodle shop is delicious at night. Basically, the price is basically the normal price in the city. The delicious noodle shop, such as four-eyed rice noodles and Axiu rice noodles, um, the red oil rice noodles in the state are good. I punched in when I caught the high-speed rail in the morning. The four-eyed pot roasted powder tasted really good. When I ate 1/3, my grandmother also paid me a tea egg. And if it is a girl traveling alone, if you want to find a place near the train station, it is recommended to come to the old place homestay of Grandma's house. It is really safe. Grandma feels like she is her granddaughter. If she wants to go out at night, she will propose to accompany her. Service: Not to mention the service, Grandma gave me a feeling really like the elders at home, afraid that I was cold and hungry. Very sincere and simple elderly home, and I just came to Guilin in the off-season, because I had to catch the early high-speed rail the next day. The bed room was originally set to be upgraded to a big bed room by my grandmother. She also opened the three rooms on the second floor intimately and said that I would choose. The photo was taken of three different rooms on the 2nd floor. If the budget is enough, it is recommended that you directly rush to the single room, the price is about 70 or less, you can find a space near the station that is more spacious, the room is clean and bright, and the price is very high. In summary, this store belongs to me who stayed once and will review the homestay. The environment can be clean and bright, the service can be warm and in place, and the location is more convenient. If you are traveling, it is very convenient to live near the station. Going to Yangshuo Scenic Area or indoor scenic area, the traffic is relatively convenient, so it is really forced. Especially Grandma feels really cute, like the old naughty child at home, will patiently ask me, will clean up the house, waiting for guests to stay. If I go to Guilin next spring, I will choose this one."

"Honestly, I was quite disappointed. Based on the photos, the common area looks great: bright, welcoming, with what seems to be a nice social space and a beautiful bar. In reality, when you arrive, you realize that this is just the reception, and it doesn’t look the same at all. It feels like the photos were heavily edited or filtered. There is no bar on the right side as shown; instead, there was a guy sitting at the reception with all his personal belongings, watching TV. There are no bar chairs, no real common space, and no area designed to meet people, which is one of the main reasons for staying in a hostel. I was traveling solo, and I ended up paying more than I would have paid in another hotel, for a lower-quality room and with no pleasant common space or bar at all. On top of that, a guy from the reception entered my room without warning, without knocking, and woke me up during the morning. He was lost and thought I was supposed to check out that day, which was incorrect. He didn’t apologize or warn me before entering. There was no proper heating or air conditioning. Either it was not available or it was turned off to save energy or money, but the room was very cold. My room had no window, and most of the rooms don’t have windows either. Overall, for the price, I was really disappointed."

"The environment of the store is very nice, warm and clean. I originally planned to stay for two nights, but after arriving, I stayed until the end of the trip. I planned to use this as a base for activities in the surrounding areas. Here are some good places where I felt good: 1. The store is not difficult to find. I arrived at three in the morning and took a taxi downstairs. It was easy to find it according to the instructions. 2. It is very close to the scenic spots. Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun and Moon Twin Towers are on the same road. It takes about ten minutes to navigate from where I live. If you walk slowly, it will be counted. In the other direction is East-West Lane, which is really convenient 3. It is located in the business district, with many large supermarkets, and it is very convenient to buy things"

"This hostel deserves five stars! The location is fantastic – right outside the high-speed rail station, making it incredibly convenient to get to attractions and business districts. It's not in the bustling city center, so it's very quiet. The common areas are clean and tidy, with separate sections for male and female guests. The public space is large, and the decor is cozy and stylish. It's super comfortable for chatting with friends or reading in the evening. Plus, there are adorable cats! Playing with them was so much fun. The owner and staff are warm and thoughtful. After a hike, I was running late to pick up my luggage from storage and head to the high-speed rail station, so I just rested on the sofa. The owner even brought me a blanket, saying I could lie down and cover up to avoid catching a cold since I was traveling. That was so heartwarming! The bunk beds are comfy, the mattresses are just right (not too hard, not too soft), and the blankets are clean and odor-free. The soundproofing is also good, ensuring a great night's sleep. The washrooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily, and hot water is available 24/7, which is perfectly sufficient! It offers amazing value for money, and I felt as comfortable as if I were at home. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!"
