"Everything about this hotel was great, with the sole exception of the room size. Truly, it was all positives! Being a Japanese chain hotel, I expected the rooms to be small, but it was perfectly adequate for two people and didn't hinder our activities at all. The location is absolutely fantastic, incredibly close to the train station – literally just across the street. You can even see the train station from the hotel, and the tracks from our room. The staff were all wonderful. The front desk attendant was enthusiastic and attentive. The ladies in the second-floor breakfast restaurant were constantly greeting guests and thanking them. When we discovered the kettle in our room was broken, we called the front desk, and they immediately apologized. A staff member then promptly knocked on our door to deliver a brand-new, still-boxed kettle, again apologizing for the inconvenience. We were so grateful! There's also a self-service laundry machine on the first floor. When we first struggled to use it, a staff member came right over to show us how. This washing machine was amazing – shirts came out completely dry, perfectly spun, and incredibly crisp, without a single wrinkle. They looked as good as new, as if they'd just been ironed. This machine is truly magical. The breakfast on the second floor was also excellent. Even though it was busy every day, there were always empty seats, and the food variety changed daily, including some Korean specialties. We left breakfast feeling very full and satisfied. The location is convenient for getting anywhere; we could reach Nampo and Seomyeon by subway in no time. We had a perfect two days here and slept very comfortably. We messed up the room as soon as we checked in, so I didn't take any photos. All in all, this hotel is flawless, with no downsides except for the slightly small room."

"We love the location, it is close to Haeundae Subway Station where the day tour meeting point is, and also a short walk to the beach and Haeundae market. The Blueline Park Mipo Station is about 25min walk along the beach. We booked this accommodation for the washing machine in the room. There is no service provided so to speak as we checked in on our own with the door passcode and there was no one at the reception throughout our entire stay. One thing to improve on is to provide more hangers and laundry rack at the balcony as we have trouble finding places to hang dry the washed clothes."

"Staying at 'Mugeum Gwangalli' during my Busan trip was truly the best decision ever! LOL. I didn't expect much since it was a dormitory, but I was relieved throughout my stay because it was much cleaner and more pleasant than I anticipated. Most importantly, the location is amazing. It's close to the subway station, and as soon as you step out of the alley, you're right at Gwangalli Beach, making getting around super convenient. The strict separation of male and female dorms allowed me to relax comfortably, and the independent single-person cabin structure meant I could sleep cozily without feeling self-conscious. The view was also so beautiful that I enjoyed a relaxing time watching the night scenery. If I had known the value for money was this good, I would have come sooner. Thanks to this, I'm romantically wrapping up the beauty of Busan at Mugeum. I will definitely revisit if I come to Busan again!"

"The hotel is next to the subway station just about 5 mins walk. There are convenient stores and restaurants nearby. It is not close to the tourist spot but the transportation is convenient. The staff is patient and helpful during my whole trip. The hotel has a high cost performance ratio. Recommended to traveler likes quite place."

"This hotel is walking distance from Busan KTX exit 1. You will see Tokyo Inn, is behind the alley. Very convenient. The bathtub is outside the bathroom. There are shampoo, shower gel, hair condition. There is no toothbrush, need to bring your own. If not 2,000won to buy at counter. Generally quite ok, need to shift here and there for 2 luggages. Sound proof, didnt hear any noise at all."

"Facilities: It has all the basic amenities, and for a three-night stay, it offers good value for money. It's relatively smart, with key card access for the elevator. Cleanliness: The room cleaning was a bit rough (they would ring the doorbell at 11 AM to rush cleaning, which was a bit annoying 🙄). Plus, there was a used razor left in the bathroom from the previous guest. Environment: It's only a 3-5 minute walk from Gupo subway station. There's a G25 convenience store right outside the station with a good selection of items. The restaurant has a great view. Being on a high floor, the strong wind and rain during my stay made the windows quite noisy at night, which was a bit unsettling. There's a communal bath on the 3rd floor 🛀 where you can soak and relax after a day of sightseeing 😪. Service: The front desk staff handled both check-in and check-out smoothly. Downstairs:"

"We stayed in the Deluxe Double room (with terrace and loft). The high ceilings, abundant natural light, and in-room amenities like the LG Styler and washing machine were absolutely fantastic. However, since the appliance instructions were all in Korean, I had to search Google to figure out how to use them. It would be great if there were Japanese manuals available. I'd read reviews saying there was shampoo but no conditioner, but to my pleasant surprise, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all provided. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, and even though there wasn't a bathtub, the shower booth was very convenient to use. The room was immaculately clean, and I especially loved having a closet to store my suitcase. The front desk staff spoke Japanese and were very friendly, which was reassuring. The location was also superb. I definitely want to stay at Newcz Nampo again on my next trip to Busan. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality this time."

Songdo Beach Hotel City truly felt like a perfect home during my Busan trip, and it absolutely deserves a full five-star rating! Unbeatable Sea View, Love at First Sight The hotel's view is an absolute top-tier experience! The enormous floor-to-ceiling windows in the room act like a giant screen, showcasing the Songdo Marine Cable Car, the azure sea, and the sprawling coastline without obstruction. I loved watching the sunrise from my bed, admiring the sky and the bridge painted red by the sunset in the evening, and then immersing myself in the twinkling lights and neon glow along the coastline at night. What's even better is that it's just a few minutes' walk from the hotel to Songdo Beach, truly realizing the dream of 'sea views from the window, and sand underfoot downstairs.' This close connection with nature was one of the most cherished memories of my trip. Excellent Location, Convenient Travel The convenience of the location was a pleasant surprise! I took a taxi directly from Busan Station and arrived at the hotel smoothly and quickly. The hotel is surrounded by a well-developed bus network, making it incredibly easy to get to major attractions like Nampo-dong, Jagalchi Market, and Taejongdae. The internal layout of the hotel is well-designed, and both check-in and check-out were efficient. The room layout was cozy and practical, with new and smart facilities that added a lot of peace of mind and comfort to the entire trip. Feeling at Home, Thanks for Your Efforts What touched me most was the enthusiasm of all the staff. From the front desk's fluent and friendly Chinese greetings and proactive, detailed explanations of attractions, to the polite and meticulous service from the housekeeping staff, and the warm smiles in the restaurant – everyone made me feel like I was being cared for by family. Their professionalism and kindness were the warmest scenery of my journey. Here, I especially want to express my most sincere gratitude as a Chinese guest to the hotel's Chinese staff and all the hard-working employees! Your efforts dispelled all our fatigue from being in a foreign land and made us feel the warmth of home. Thank you for making this Busan trip so complete and wonderful. Songdo Beach Hotel City will definitely be my first choice when I return to Busan!"

"Over the past few days, I've stayed at three Toyoko Inn hotels: Daegu, Busan Station, and Haeundae. Haeundae's breakfast offered the most variety. The service was pretty consistent across all of them, and the room types, cleanliness, and locations were all excellent. There aren't many chain hotels in Korea, and I've stayed at Toyoko Inn in Japan before too – they're generally a safe bet."
