"I've wanted to visit for over ten years, and this was my first time, bringing my dog along. Right in the lobby, the hotel owner's mixed-breed dog was sprawled in the middle of the entrance, exuding a lazy, 'I'm in charge' vibe. My room was upgraded to a standalone two-bedroom unit with a terrace and living room. With two bedrooms surrounded by lush greenery, I was very pleased. The decor isn't outdated at all. I enjoyed a SPA treatment and had dinner; the crayfish was especially fresh and delicious – truly their signature dish. Xiao Yan at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic and attentive; after adding her on WeChat, she kept sending me updates on hotel activities. It was also my dog's first time seeing big horses and black swans. The hotel feels like a grand estate, and I'll definitely be returning many times. I'm sure it will get even better now that Trip.com has acquired it."

The restaurant is also dog-friendly, and while breakfast wasn't a buffet, it was delicious! When we checked out, they even gave us a cute mug as a souvenir! This is a three-story building full of European style, including seven large bedrooms and ample open space. The hotel also has its own excellent swimming pool, where adults and children can find their own space to relax and enjoy. Adhering to the concept of "environmental protection and sustainability", the large bamboo forest of the La Petronilla Boutique Hotel brings fresh air and allows people to return to the embrace of nature.
"The hotel is right next to a bamboo forest, making it very convenient for walks. The hygiene is excellent; both the room and common areas are spotless. The bedding, bath towels, and bathrobes are all of superb quality – high-thread count, thick, pristine white, and brand new. The hotel restaurant offers both Chinese and Italian cuisine. We dined exclusively at the hotel during our stay and tried the Chinese dishes. It's home-style cooking, and the bamboo chicken soup, braised bamboo shoots in oil, and braised pork belly were all exceptional; highly recommended. Additionally, the hotel offered a pleasant surprise: a choice between red wine, afternoon tea, or pizza making. Lastly, I want to thank the entire service team. Their service was efficient throughout, proactive yet never intrusive. They effortlessly switched between Mandarin, Shanghainese, and English, and were always ready to assist. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable short stay, and we will definitely return."

"第二次來這家酒店入住了，因為上次體驗不錯訂的標房體驗不錯就又來了，這次帶上全家人一起住進豪華雙床房，比標房直接大了一倍，但價格沒有貴很多，房間非常乾淨住的很舒服，非常實惠性價比超高。尤其值得稱讚的是這家店的服務，前台小哥哥小姐姐顏值很高，服務態度超棒，其中有一個小哥哥幫了我們非常多，晚上來幫忙修理廁所，告知我們怎麼取消平台訂單，又帥能力又棒，聲音也好聽，人更nice。除此之外還有方便的機器人幫忙送東西到房間，自助洗衣房也是非常好用，烘乾機也能烘很乾。地理位置更是超絕，直接在庾村散客中心旁邊，直接可以坐大巴上莫干山景區，晚上還能逛逛庾村廣場，一條街上風景很高，吃東西的店也多，肯德基霸王茶姬網紅金魚媽媽都在附近。唯一美中不足的點是電視機投屏功能不太好使，連接上去很容易斷掉，每次看完一集還要重新投屏，另外就是酒店早餐不太好吃品種少了些，其他都很完美啦。"

"After the May Day holiday, and before my maternity leave ended, I finally got to visit naked Castle, a place I'd been dreaming of for a long time. In short: it truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best, if not *the* best, luxury resorts in China! It's not far from Shanghai, so I can definitely see myself going back often!
The biggest highlight is undoubtedly the scenery! Driving up the winding mountain road to the peak, and then stepping into our Cliff Suite to be greeted by breathtaking mountain views – it felt like my soul was instantly liberated from its shackles. All I wanted to do was sit on the bamboo chair on the balcony and simply unwind.
Then there's the famous ancient castle itself. Although it's a renovation, it remarkably captures its original essence, while the interior beautifully blends modern aesthetics with cultural heritage. Every brick, every tile, every door, every window is worth admiring. The path leading from our room to the castle was like something out of a fairytale.
Secondly, the overall service quality was outstanding. From the front desk, shuttle staff, and restaurant servers to the housekeeping team, everyone was highly professional and efficient. Our dedicated guest relations specialist, Xiao Chen, was particularly attentive and thoughtful. We were traveling with our 5-month-old baby, and the hotel had already prepared a crib and assigned us a perfectly located room, making it easy to get to the restaurant and the castle. Despite the hotel having been around for some years, it's incredibly well-maintained and feels as good as new, which is a rare find among domestic resorts!
We've already made plans to return in autumn when the leaves change color, to enjoy the castle's beauty in a different season!"

JJasur MavlyanovWe recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation.
For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel.
But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!

I was stunned when I entered the room. It's so beautiful! The door is usually closed, and the privacy is also very good. The owner is very attentive. LleahdingWe booked this B&B because of its high rating of 4.9 and its proximity to Yucun Square and the Yucun Distribution Center.
After a two-day stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the owner's sincerity. On the first day, we had a double room and brought an older child. I asked if we could add breakfast for an extra fee, but the owner said no. For breakfast on both days, the owner and his wife varied the options, offering milk, dim sum, eggs, and salted duck eggs, without repeating anything.
The most touching part of our stay was that we had an elderly resident with limited mobility, and we hadn't arranged lunch for them during our outing. Even though the B&B didn't offer lunch, the owner took the initiative to prepare it for me and brought it to my room, refusing to charge for it.
This B&B is run by a couple who personally manage the breakfast, cleanliness, and service, all worthy of praise. It truly makes travelers feel at home. Only with attentive service can guests feel at ease. It's amazing!

Mogan Ziling Villa focuses on the privacy and humanistic temperature of mountain scenery, especially suitable for family outings or friends gatherings that pursue a sense of quality.
Hidden in the green mountains and bamboo seas of Ziling Village, it is a veritable ”natural forest oxygen bar”. The buildings are mostly single-family villas, some retaining the local earth wall style, but the interior is European-style rural style, with story-filled utensils and art decoration, both wild and exquisite. The room is named after ”Mogan, Ziling, Mountain Village, Reading”, and the details are hidden in ingenuity.
The double bed suite room type, some of which are double loft structures, equipped with large floor-to-ceiling windows, independent balcony and bathtub, and the bamboo sea and mountain view can be seen by pushing the window. The facilities pay attention to comfort.

PPinkGirlExtremely sweet staff who are extremely friendly and welcoming. The check-in process was quick and swift. We got there after 8 pm on a Friday night and the front desk was available and waiting for us. They allowed night swimming and had great a spacious Karaoke facility. This hotel /BnB is pet friendly and so our 2 fur kids were not discriminated against and was treated with a great care. Jinx is the girl at the front desk and she is very kind, always going the extra mile for us, even sending us locations and attractions close by on wechat. They provided us with a DIY barbecue on Saturday night and allowed us to have a party till quite
If I could suggest a few things it would be:
1. The cats in the cat enclosure have not had their space cleaned in weeks. There are feces and spider webs inside the 'space'. The cats never come out and look very unhappy. Please can they be better taken care of.
2. Rooms can be swept and cleaned daily.
3. Breakfast can be less dough based but some more fruit and healthier food options.
Overall, we would definitely visit again and really enjoyed such a warm environment.

__CFT010000001002****Our two-day 'retreat' with my mom and grandma has come to a perfect end! A big thank you to our butler, Xiao Liu, for the thoughtful arrangements. He upgraded our rooms and every meal was delicious. The elders in my family are always so happy when they're in a natural, mountain setting. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed – we didn't have to prepare a thing. Plus, there were charging stations for our electric car, so all we had to do was relax. We'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserThis was my first time visiting Moganshan, and I booked the Shangpo B&B based on Ctrip's ratings and reviews. I was really impressed by the welcome letter, which showed the owner is cultured and thoughtful, and it immediately heightened my expectations for this 'paradise on earth'...
The B&B is nestled amidst mountains and bamboo forests, with a three-story, reddish-orange Tuscan-style exterior that exudes a vintage charm. It feels incredibly exotic being surrounded by the bamboo sea and mountains. The environment here is serene and peaceful, truly a 'paradise away from the hustle and bustle' as described in the welcome letter.
The room was clean and elegant, offering mountain views right from the moment you open the door. Every detail exuded a subtle luxury. My favorite part was the artwork in the common areas – several Picasso-esque paintings by Dutch artists, paired with light luxury, simple European furniture, creating a striking visual contrast between modern and vintage that sparks a unique aesthetic romance.
Both the Chinese and Western meals here were incredibly delicious, fresh, and exquisitely prepared. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner could all be customized to guests' requests; it truly felt like everyone was a VIP.
The service at the B&B was also outstanding. Coffee and mineral water were provided free of charge and unlimited throughout the day! The housekeeper was warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive to every request. This is, without a doubt, the best-serviced B&B I've ever stayed at. I will definitely be back!

GGuest UserI’ve been to this place once before for an event at the Moon Lake lawn, and I’ve always wanted to come back and stay. This time, we stayed in a cabin, and I think this kind of weekend getaway is something I could do many more times. I’m really satisfied; it's very French! Everything – dining, accommodation, transportation, and activities – is within this resort. The resort has two restaurants, and we tried both, they were delicious. Their ingredients seem to be locally grown, very fresh, and the flavors were great. For lunch on the second day, we ate at their Western restaurant, and my son absolutely loved their pasta – the taste was so authentic – and the pizza was good too. In the hot afternoon, we went to do some handicrafts. I really have to commend the staff here; they are all kind and patient, and their service is truly superb. We had an elderly lady, over 80, with a wheelchair, and their sightseeing cart was available on call, and they even helped us carry our belongings. We've been to so many 'attraction-style' tours, but this kind of relaxing trip is something we really need to do more often. You can come in all four seasons; it’s truly relaxing for the mind, body, and soul. There are also many water activities, and the kids had so much fun. The rose garden is beautifully maintained. And last but not least, what touched me the most was that we accidentally left a bracelet in the room because we were rushing during check-out. The hotel proactively called us and offered to mail it back to us. I’m so grateful!

GGuest UserI chose this place after seeing many reviews. It's like a sanatorium in Shanghai, and I often heard people speaking Shanghainese among the guests.
The location is next to a villa complex, and you can walk to nearby attractions. If you're driving, many sights can be enjoyed right from the road, which is very convenient. A friendly reminder: you can't drive into the attractions themselves, so this location is perfect for self-driving tours.
I stayed in the main building, which was built later. The decor has a lovely民國 (Republic of China era) style. It seems some of the pre-liberation villas are also occupied, but I'm not sure if they all belong to Moganshanzhuang.
The best part was that during the May Day holiday, Moganshan was rainy and freezing. But the room actually had a heating air conditioner! I spent a wonderfully warm night in the rainy mountain, which was incredibly thoughtful. Two thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

__CFT010000001607****My trip to Moganshan was spurred by a rare good weather weekend and a spontaneous decision. I blindly booked this B&B on Trip.com simply because I liked its name, 'Moshangyin'. I'm just a hopelessly spontaneous person. My suitcase packed clothes for tomorrow, my camera, and a bottle of red wine. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, hoping to get tipsy under a sky full of stars before drifting off to sleep.
However, the reality was I ended up sharing that bottle of wine over a staff meal at the B&B. I met the lovely and fun Sister Fen, known as 'Moganshan's Queen', and the incredibly approachable and wise B&B owner, Da Ling. She cooked me delicious shredded pork noodles and helped me take many great photos. I was the only guest who got to join that meal, simply because I was the only solo guest at the whole B&B – how both sad and interesting is that? In my heart, Moshangyin in Moganshan definitely deserves a five-star review.
