The hotel check-in was very fast. The room was very clean, without the smell of mold or the feeling of being old. The whole room was clean and bright. "I've wanted to visit for over ten years, and this was my first time, bringing my dog along. Right in the lobby, the hotel owner's mixed-breed dog was sprawled in the middle of the entrance, exuding a lazy, 'I'm in charge' vibe. My room was upgraded to a standalone two-bedroom unit with a terrace and living room. With two bedrooms surrounded by lush greenery, I was very pleased. The decor isn't outdated at all. I enjoyed a SPA treatment and had dinner; the crayfish was especially fresh and delicious – truly their signature dish. Xiao Yan at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic and attentive; after adding her on WeChat, she kept sending me updates on hotel activities. It was also my dog's first time seeing big horses and black swans. The hotel feels like a grand estate, and I'll definitely be returning many times. JJasur MavlyanovWe recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation. For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel. But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!

Hidden in the green mountains and bamboo seas of Ziling Village, it is a veritable ”natural forest oxygen bar”. The buildings are mostly single-family villas, some retaining the local earth wall style, but the interior is European-style rural style, with story-filled utensils and art decoration, both wild and exquisite. The room is named after ”Mogan, Ziling, Mountain Village, Reading”, and the details are hidden in ingenuity. The double bed suite room type, some of which are double loft structures, equipped with large floor-to-ceiling windows, independent balcony and bathtub, and the bamboo sea and mountain view can be seen by pushing the window. The facilities pay attention to comfort. ”Butler-style intimate” service, will wait in advance to help carry luggage when you check in. Dining is the core highlight. PPinkGirlExtremely sweet staff who are extremely friendly and welcoming. The check-in process was quick and swift. We got there after 8 pm on a Friday night and the front desk was available and waiting for us. They allowed night swimming and had great a spacious Karaoke facility. This hotel /BnB is pet friendly and so our 2 fur kids were not discriminated against and was treated with a great care. Jinx is the girl at the front desk and she is very kind, always going the extra mile for us, even sending us locations and attractions close by on wechat. They provided us with a DIY barbecue on Saturday night and allowed us to have a party till quite If I could suggest a few things it would be: 1. The cats in the cat enclosure have not had their space cleaned in weeks. There are feces and spider webs inside the 'space'. The cats never come out and look very unhappy. Please can they be better taken care of. 2. Rooms can be swept and cleaned daily. 3. Breakfast can be less dough based but some more fruit and healthier food options. Overall, we would definitely visit again and really enjoyed such a warm environment.

__CFT010000001002****Our two-day 'retreat' with my mom and grandma has come to a perfect end! A big thank you to our butler, Xiao Liu, for the thoughtful arrangements. He upgraded our rooms and every meal was delicious. The elders in my family are always so happy when they're in a natural, mountain setting. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed – we didn't have to prepare a thing. Plus, there were charging stations for our electric car, so all we had to do was relax. We'll definitely be back!

I was really impressed by the welcome letter, which showed the owner is cultured and thoughtful, and it immediately heightened my expectations for this 'paradise on earth'... The B&B is nestled amidst mountains and bamboo forests, with a three-story, reddish-orange Tuscan-style exterior that exudes a vintage charm. It feels incredibly exotic being surrounded by the bamboo sea and mountains. The environment here is serene and peaceful, truly a 'paradise away from the hustle and bustle' as described in the welcome letter. The room was clean and elegant, offering mountain views right from the moment you open the door. Every detail exuded a subtle luxury. My favorite part was the artwork in the common areas – several Picasso-esque paintings by Dutch artists, paired with light luxury, simple European furniture, creating a striking visual contrast between modern and vintage that sparks a unique aesthetic romance. Both the Chinese and Western meals here were incredibly delicious, fresh, and exquisitely prepared. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner could all be customized to guests' requests; it truly felt like everyone was a VIP. The service at the B&B was also outstanding. Coffee and mineral water were provided free of charge and unlimited throughout the day! The housekeeper was warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive to every request. This is, without a doubt, the best-serviced B&B I've ever stayed at. I will definitely be back!

GGuest UserAfter the May Day holiday, and before my maternity leave ended, I finally got to visit naked Castle, a place I'd been dreaming of for a long time. In short: it truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best, if not *the* best, luxury resorts in China! It's not far from Shanghai, so I can definitely see myself going back often! The biggest highlight is undoubtedly the scenery! Driving up the winding mountain road to the peak, and then stepping into our Cliff Suite to be greeted by breathtaking mountain views – it felt like my soul was instantly liberated from its shackles. All I wanted to do was sit on the bamboo chair on the balcony and simply unwind. Then there's the famous ancient castle itself. Although it's a renovation, it remarkably captures its original essence, while the interior beautifully blends modern aesthetics with cultural heritage. Every brick, every tile, every door, every window is worth admiring. The path leading from our room to the castle was like something out of a fairytale. Secondly, the overall service quality was outstanding. From the front desk, shuttle staff, and restaurant servers to the housekeeping team, everyone was highly professional and efficient. Our dedicated guest relations specialist, Xiao Chen, was particularly attentive and thoughtful. We were traveling with our 5-month-old baby, and the hotel had already prepared a crib and assigned us a perfectly located room, making it easy to get to the restaurant and the castle. Despite the hotel having been around for some years, it's incredibly well-maintained and feels as good as new, which is a rare find among domestic resorts! GGuest UserI’ve been to this place once before for an event at the Moon Lake lawn, and I’ve always wanted to come back and stay. This time, we stayed in a cabin, and I think this kind of weekend getaway is something I could do many more times. I’m really satisfied; it's very French! Everything – dining, accommodation, transportation, and activities – is within this resort. The resort has two restaurants, and we tried both, they were delicious. Their ingredients seem to be locally grown, very fresh, and the flavors were great. For lunch on the second day, we ate at their Western restaurant, and my son absolutely loved their pasta – the taste was so authentic – and the pizza was good too. In the hot afternoon, we went to do some handicrafts. I really have to commend the staff here; they are all kind and patient, and their service is truly superb. We had an elderly lady, over 80, with a wheelchair, and their sightseeing cart was available on call, and they even helped us carry our belongings. We've been to so many 'attraction-style' tours, but this kind of relaxing trip is something we really need to do more often. You can come in all four seasons; it’s truly relaxing for the mind, body, and soul. There are also many water activities, and the kids had so much fun. The rose garden is beautifully maintained. And last but not least, what touched me the most was that we accidentally left a bracelet in the room because we were rushing during check-out. The hotel proactively called us and offered to mail it back to us. I’m so grateful!

GGuest UserI chose this place after seeing many reviews. It's like a sanatorium in Shanghai, and I often heard people speaking Shanghainese among the guests. The location is next to a villa complex, and you can walk to nearby attractions. If you're driving, many sights can be enjoyed right from the road, which is very convenient. A friendly reminder: you can't drive into the attractions themselves, so this location is perfect for self-driving tours. I stayed in the main building, which was built later. The decor has a lovely民國 (Republic of China era) style. It seems some of the pre-liberation villas are also occupied, but I'm not sure if they all belong to Moganshanzhuang. The best part was that during the May Day holiday, Moganshan was rainy and freezing. But the room actually had a heating air conditioner! I spent a wonderfully warm night in the rainy mountain, which was incredibly thoughtful. Two thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

__CFT010000001607****My trip to Moganshan was spurred by a rare good weather weekend and a spontaneous decision. I blindly booked this B&B on Trip.com simply because I liked its name, 'Moshangyin'. I'm just a hopelessly spontaneous person. My suitcase packed clothes for tomorrow, my camera, and a bottle of red wine. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, hoping to get tipsy under a sky full of stars before drifting off to sleep. However, the reality was I ended up sharing that bottle of wine over a staff meal at the B&B. I met the lovely and fun Sister Fen, known as 'Moganshan's Queen', and the incredibly approachable and wise B&B owner, Da Ling. She cooked me delicious shredded pork noodles and helped me take many great photos. I was the only guest who got to join that meal, simply because I was the only solo guest at the whole B&B – how both sad and interesting is that? In my heart, Moshangyin in Moganshan definitely deserves a five-star review.
