"This hotel is located right at an entrance to the old town, easily accessible by taxi or public transport, and not too far from Lanzhou West Station. My kids loved the antique-style door at the room's entrance. The children's playground is right next door, and there are also paid kids' entertainment options nearby. The soundproofing in the rooms isn't great; you can hear the sound of water being used in the next room. The old town is bustling at night but pretty quiet during the day."

"First of all somebody need to find a solution for having different hotels unders IBIS TRAIN STATION with different location. This one was close to the train station but taxi driver brought us to the wrong one... We asked to prepare some breakfast because we left hotel before opening time and was not possible. To go there again for us it is only reaon being close to train: 7 minutes walking. But relation price quality is fair-good."

Plus, the location is great, right next to the old town street. For this price, it's really good. I'll definitely come back. Overall, it's very nice and I recommend staying here."

"This hotel is located in Lanzhou Old Street, offering a quiet retreat amidst a bustling area. We were upgraded to a quieter room, which really made for a comfortable night's sleep. The facilities are good too; it would be even more convenient if there was a coffee table to place things on. What truly impressed me the most was the hotel's service. All the staff members were warm and friendly, including the cleaning aunties, who provided timely and attentive service. They even thoughtfully prepared a 'cheer-up' kit for us participants of the Lanzhou Marathon, which included various snacks, cooling patches, and band-aids – something I've never encountered before! There was also a special backdrop in the hotel lobby, showing how much effort Lanzhou as a city put into making this event a success. It was truly touching. The hotel is conveniently located less than a 10-minute walk from Matan Metro Station, with plenty of bus routes nearby. I really enjoyed Lanzhou Old Street; it has everything for dining, lodging, and entertainment. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Lanzhou."

"Read this before booking this hotel! Think carefully! Be prepared! The biggest problem is that the photos are vastly different from reality, and I personally don't recommend staying long! First, this hotel doesn't have an elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up to your room on the second floor. Although hotel staff can help, it's still inconvenient, especially for people with mobility issues. The reception area is also tiny, just a corner next to the stairs. Besides the regular room types, this hotel also offers ”clock rooms.” There's even a black box on the table in the room selling lingerie; the overall feeling is that of a ”love hotel,” completely different from the expected discounted double room. Furthermore, the hotel doesn't provide any photos of the rooms. I don't know if other room types are the same as in the pictures, but compared to the two photos of the toilet provided by the hotel, it's a serious discrepancy. The toilet and bathroom are actually in the same space, not separated, and the showerhead is very dirty and unhygienic. The shampoo and shower gel provided are also small and cluttered. The magnifying mirror in the bathroom, as advertised by the hotel, is nowhere to be found; there's only one large mirror in the room. In addition, some hotel facilities were damaged. A major concern was that the security lock was broken and unusable; the only way to lock the door was by using the door lock itself. The soundproofing wasn't very good either; I could frequently hear noises from the hallway, making me feel unsafe. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel for women! Therefore, please consider this carefully! Photos of the room are provided here, but please don't trust the photos of this particular room type. If the photos are acceptable and you're mentally prepared, then you can book it, as it is undeniably very close to the high-speed rail station. On a side note, when I went from the bridge outside the high-speed rail station to the hotel, I couldn't find the elevator and had to carry my luggage down the stairs myself, so please be aware of that."

"The Sheraton Lanzhou has been the best hotel experience on my Qinghai-Gansu grand loop trip so far! The hotel boasts top-notch facilities and a beautifully designed, comfortable atmosphere. The scenic rooms offer stunning views of the Yellow River banks, encompassing the entire Lanzhou skyline. Moreover, the hotel's breakfast spread is incredibly rich, with specialty dishes like beef noodles made fresh on the spot. The cakes from the in-house bakery are especially delicious, easily rivaling those found in Shanghai. In the past, whenever I visited Lanzhou, I always stayed downtown, where traffic was incredibly congested and parking was a hassle. This Sheraton, being away from the bustling city center, is much quieter. Plus, getting to the city center is super convenient with a metro transfer right on B1. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Lanzhou."

"This trip is really the right choice for this hotel! First of all, the location is very good to find and the traffic is convenient. The front desk lady/brother service is particularly warm, and when checking in, he also sent hot tea intimately, and instantly swept away all the way tired. The room was more spacious than expected, the bedding was very clean and comfortable, and I slept until dawn. The most pleasant surprise is that the sound insulation effect is great, which is a boon for me who sleeps lightly. The bathroom is well separated from wet and dry, the hot water is out in seconds, and the water pressure is also sufficient. "Great location, just a 5-minute drive from West Station, and they offer a shuttle service to and from the station. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the shower in the bathroom had excellent water pressure. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, even assisting with luggage. "The hotel's location is fantastic. It's just around the corner from Exit A of the Provincial Government Station on Metro Line 1. If you walk straight across from the hotel, it's about a 1-kilometer stroll to the Zhongshan Bridge by the Yellow River. Since it's in the city center, the rooms aren't huge, which is understandable. What really stood out were the thoughtful touches, like the steam eye mask already placed on my nightstand when I returned in the evening – perfect for a good night's sleep!"
