"A great hotel for families - quiet and peaceful. The suite was very large with 2 separate rooms and a nice balcony. The ”panda theme” was a big hit with my kids. They loved it. There were free water bottles, coffee and tea in the room. The overall cleanliness was excellent - a very clean bathroom and shower, sparkling white linens and towels. The only negative in regards to cleaning was the floor - it was mopped but visibly not clean. My kids' feet were black after walking on the floor for just half an hour. That could be an improvement. The beds are pretty hard - good for those who enjoy it. The staff service was great. We overslept breakfast time and the front desk called the restaurant and asked them to wait for us so we could eat. The location is also very convenient with free car parking. We would definitely stay again."

"The hygiene is impeccable, and the daily cleaning is thorough. Even the remote control is meticulous and quiet, making people live in awe. There are two kinds of slippers in the room, hair dryer, more particular hotels, the most important thing is that the room sound is good, the bedding is skin-friendly, and it is obviously cleaned and disinfected. The room feels refreshing as soon as it comes in, full marks. The theme of the room is too suitable for our young people, and it is too comfortable to watch a movie."

"Seriously recommending this to anyone looking for a place to unwind! It truly exceeded expectations! The owner, a kind uncle, was wonderful. He even gave me two glasses of his homemade aged liquor during dinner, which was incredibly mellow and delicious – thank you! He mentioned that after some guests last year commented on outdated facilities, they invested heavily in a full renovation, and asked me to be sure to pass that on to the review section, hahaha. Here's my genuine stay experience: I was initially worried about the road, but it was paved all the way, and we drove directly from the highway to the guesthouse, so the location is excellent. The room had an amazing view. During the day, you could see the courtyard and mountains, and in the evening, the sunset glow, with village smoke rising – it was incredibly picturesque! We hiked around the village, passing streams, farmlands, and sheep. Strolling leisurely to the wellhead, I felt completely refreshed. Both old and young would have a great time here. Food and service were also completely on point. Portions were generous, and the food tasted great, with thoughtfulness evident in every detail. Escaping the city's hustle and bustle and spending a couple of days here felt like being completely recharged. It was so comfortable! Absolutely great value for money."

"Brilliant location for visiting the Chengde Mountain Resort. The hotel is located just on the other side of the wall of the park and is at a quiet corner 200m from the entrance. Very convenient for an early start to avoid the crowds. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff at hotel. Room is good size and spotlessly clean. Many good local eateries within a short walking distance for excellent food at very reasonable prices"

"The hotel is directly opposite the Bifengmen parking lot, and it's about a 20-minute walk to Lizheng Gate of the Mountain Resort. The quad room with bunk beds was very family-friendly for our family with two children. While the hotel's facilities are fairly basic, I must particularly praise their excellent 9.9 Mountain Resort day tour and the front desk staff. First, regarding the Mountain Resort day tour: it lasted a full 5 hours, and our guide, Xiao Qi, didn't waste a single minute. He provided thorough explanations, meticulously planned our route, and there were absolutely no sales pitches or additional charges. For such an honest and dedicated guide, the hotel deserves a huge commendation! And then there's the front desk staff – every single person was beaming with smiles. They offered detailed information, provided attentive service, and went above and beyond to assist with any request. They even helped us cut a watermelon we bought, booked tickets for a show, and thoughtfully provided cushions for us as we were heading out. Truly heartwarming service! Hidden gem: Just down the stairs next to the hotel is the Temple of Confucius. Plus, there's a highly popular lamb soup spot nearby, serving delicious *shaobing* (sesame flatbreads)!"

"The sanitary environment is very good, the bed is soft and comfortable to lie on and relax. The special intimate point is that the hotel has a laundry room. It is really convenient to wash clothes. After exercising, you can wash the sweaty clothes directly, and you don't have to carry them home. Many hotels of the same grade can't do this, it's really a special bonus."

"I recently visited the Chengde Mountain Resort and stayed at the Guanrong Holiday Hotel. The experience was fantastic, and I had to share my thoughts. Location and Transportation: The hotel is perfectly situated, right next to the Mountain Resort and not far from Erxianju Commercial Street. It's very convenient for exploring the Mountain Resort, dining, and shopping on the commercial street. Taxis and driving are both convenient. Parking is available, but there are currently no charging stations. Hotel Facilities: The bedding was soft and comfortable, with the mattress and pillows having the perfect firmness, allowing for a good night's sleep. There is a public restroom on the first floor. The breakfast selection was quite good, with basic fare like bread, fried dough sticks, coffee, milk, and soy milk, as well as some simple stir-fries and fried rice, which basically satisfied my breakfast needs. Service: I received a free room upgrade, and the hotel staff were warm and friendly. From check-in to check-out, their professionalism and attentiveness were evident in every aspect. The front desk staff handled the process quickly and efficiently, and they also proactively provided information about nearby tourist attractions and transportation. Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel. If you're visiting the Chengde Mountain Resort, this is a great choice."

"It's really excellent, far exceeding my expectations. The environment is great, and it's convenient to get around. Most importantly, the owner is incredibly helpful. The stay was very comfortable, the room was spacious and even had smart technology – a lazy person's dream! The owner promptly resolved any issues and was very thoughtful, even providing small gifts during exams. It's truly unbeatable value for money and has become my top choice for hotels. The bedding was also very comfortable, and hot water was always available."

"Excellent! The location is fantastic, very close to the Mountain Resort and easily walkable. Crucially, they have parking available, which is a huge plus, especially when all other nearby lots are full. I was even offered a complimentary room upgrade by the staff. For just over 100 RMB, I got a mountain view room, which was incredible value. I could lie in bed in the morning and watch the sunrise, with beautiful mountain and water views right outside my window. On the downside, the facilities are quite dated. The main issue was a strong, unpleasant sewage smell emanating from the drain."
