"The hotel's硬件 facilities are genuinely impressive. The lobby is opulent and incredibly luxurious, and the rooms are well-equipped. However, the soft services are truly disappointing. From check-in at the front desk to breakfast, the service attitude wasn't even polite. My family of three arrived for breakfast just 5 minutes before closing, and the front desk insisted we pay immediately before entering. Couldn't they just charge it to the room card, or let us sit down and pay a little later? Also, they strictly ration Nongfu Spring water in the rooms, providing only two bottles per day. If you want more, you get a different brand of bottled water. Is this really the service for a 1.5k room? I had already chosen to extend my stay in the same room at 11 PM on the day of check-in, yet no one contacted me about renewing the room card until 6:27 PM the next day. Good service should be seamless and unobtrusive, but every little thing here made us uncomfortable. I hope the experience improves if I have a chance to visit again."

Shenghua Hotel

Ξενοδοχείο κοντά σε The Mountain Resort Scenic Area/Erxianju Commercial Street,Τσενγκντέ
The hotel is affiliated to Chengde Transportation Group and is located in the center of the urban area, about ten minutes' drive from the Mountain Resort Scenic Area. The hotel integrates accommodation, catering, conferences, travel agencies and other service functions, and is equipped with a dedicated parking lot; it has various guest rooms, which are spacious and bright, and have a wide field of vision; the hotel's catering, which integrates local dishes and four-season health mushroom banquets, is deeply loved by guests; The 7 mid-to-high-end conference rooms are fully functional and are ideal places to hold various meetings and trainings. The hotel is a good choice for you to undertake tourism, leisure and business travel.
"The most surprising thing about this hotel was its prime location. A large shopping mall is just a 5-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for dining and shopping. There are also several local specialty restaurants nearby, allowing you to enjoy authentic local flavors without having to search for guides. The Summer Palace is also just a few minutes' drive away, saving you the hassle of traveling long distances. Although the hotel isn't new, it's well-maintained, and the rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable. The front desk staff (Team 801) were particularly friendly and helpful. They proactively provided directions to nearby attractions upon check-in and responded promptly to any inquiries. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was generally quite good, with a focus on Chinese cuisine. Also, the hotel has its own parking lot, making it extremely convenient for those driving, eliminating the need to worry about finding a spot. Overall, it's a great value and I'll definitely stay here again!"

Hilton Garden Inn Chengde Mountain Resort

Ξενοδοχείο κοντά σε The Mountain Resort Scenic Area/Erxianju Commercial Street,Τσενγκντέ
"The Hilton Garden Inn Chengde Summer Palace is perfectly located. It's a ten-minute walk to the Summer Palace, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and there's a gym and self-service laundry room. The hotel is a converted building, so the rooms are a bit small, there are few elevators, and street-facing rooms can be noisy. There's no executive lounge or in-room mini-fridge, and parking can be tight during peak season. It's ideal for travelers primarily visiting the Summer Palace and prioritizing convenience."

"Out of all the places we stayed during our self-drive trip through Inner Mongolia, this was by far the best! Both the owner and the staff were incredibly genuine and welcoming. The attention to detail in their service was exceptional, you can tell they truly put their heart into running the place. The room was clean and spacious, with excellent facilities, making for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. I absolutely have to rave about the owner's freshly roasted lamb leg – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and absolutely delicious. It was genuinely amazing. What truly impressed me was how pet-friendly they are. Bringing our two small dogs was absolutely no hassle, and the owners were incredibly accommodating. It's so rare to find such a wonderful pet-friendly guesthouse when you're traveling with pets. The courtyard was peaceful and quiet, providing a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day of driving. I wish them all the best!"

The bathroom is also clean. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful. The decoration is a bit old, but there is nothing else to complain about."

Hongluan Xingju Homestay (Chengde Dingsheng Dynasty Kangxi Ceremony Performance)

Ξενοδοχείο κοντά σε Kangxi Ceremony/Dingsheng Yuanbao Street,Τσενγκντέ
"[An Amazingly High-Quality Stay! This Hotel is Absolutely Legendary!] Choosing this hotel for my business trip was pure luck! The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the spacious and bright room—large windows offered mountain views, sunlight streamed warmly onto the wooden floors, and the low-saturation wood tones created a sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere. What impressed me most were the details: ✅ The bedding was so soft, like being wrapped in a cloud; a good night's sleep instantly relieved the fatigue of my journey. ✅ The bathroom featured a dark theme and a smart toilet; the shower pressure was so strong it felt like a spa treatment, and the vanity lighting was so bright you didn't even need extra light for makeup. ✅ The room even had a projector and a large screen! Drawing the curtains instantly transformed it into a private cinema—perfect for binge-watching shows from bed! ✅ The mini-bar offered complimentary bottled water and tea sets, and even plenty of clothes hangers, creating a truly relaxing ”home away from home” feel. The service was also excellent throughout; check-in at the front desk was incredibly fast, and any questions were answered instantly. The price-performance ratio is far superior to hotels in the same price range. I will definitely choose it again next time I come here for business or tourism!"
