"My husband and I are photography enthusiasts. We have always wanted to go to Kanas to take pictures of the scenery. We stayed in the Fairy Tale Castle by chance. First of all, the room theme on the page attracted me. It was very unique. After checking in, I found that it was like a treasure house. After all, I chose this hotel/B&B based on reviews, so I feel obligated to share my experience. 1. **Hotel Location:** It's conveniently located right at the first transfer center when you enter the scenic area, making check-in very easy. However, it's still a one-stop bus ride to the village, and this section isn't walkable – it's very dark at night. So, after having dinner in the village on our first night, it was quite inconvenient getting back. Every bus was packed like sardines. We tried to scan and rent e-scooters, but they suddenly ran out of power outside the village (apparently, there's a designated range). We felt pretty desperate then. Luckily, we had added the housekeeper on WeChat, and they guided us on how to get back, but the experience wasn't great. (Suggest staying near 'Food Street' or 'Bridge Head'). 2. **Room:** This is a relatively large hotel. There are over a dozen rooms in one building, and perhaps a dozen buildings in total. They aren't the traditional small wooden cabin type. The room was clean and tidy, but there was no air conditioning. It was extremely hot in Hemu on the day we arrived. Although a fan was provided, the room was still stuffy and humid, so be cautious if you're visiting Hemu in the summer. (Of course, this isn't the hotel's fault). 3. **Service:** They offered complimentary drinks, meal vouchers, coffee vouchers, etc., and the housekeeper's service was quite good. However, compared to B&Bs in Kanas, there's still a bit of a gap. I suggest adding guests on WeChat a day in advance to explain the check-in route and how to get back to the hotel after going out to explore."
