"This hotel offers exceptional service for its price point. Upon arrival, someone immediately assisted us with our luggage, and the lovely front desk staff escorted us to our room. The service was effortlessly attentive whenever we needed anything. I also have to commend the breakfast – the live kitchen cooked fresh dishes on the spot, with no shortcuts taken, and refills were prompt. We visited on a weekday, and they didn't compromise on food quality just because there were fewer guests. The rice noodles were delicious! Every breakfast item showcased local specialties while maintaining great flavor. They even had freshly grilled steaks, and the chefs were all smiles, which really brightened our day. It was very hot in Guilin in July, and my child spent an hour in the 5th-floor pool. They thoughtfully activated the wave machine for us! Even though the pool is small, it was perfectly adequate for kids to have fun, and they provided inner tubes and kickboards. The room itself was even better – we had a direct view of the Twin Pagodas. It rained that evening in Guilin, and the Twin Pagodas in the rain were absolutely stunning. I must praise the sofa on the balcony; it was incredibly comfortable! You could practically sleep on it – not those stiff, uncomfortable types of sofas, which shows real attention to detail. The room offered views of the Twin Pagodas, the lake, and the surrounding mountains in the distance; the scenery was breathtaking! This will definitely be our first choice next time we visit Guilin!"

The room was clean and tidy, with complete and perfect facilities, and comfortable bedding. The staff were warm and attentive. It was a fantastic experience traveling with kids. "If you are still looking for a hotel in Guilin, you can stop searching I rarely write such detailed reviews but this place really deserves it Everything here is amazing - from the location to the service. Every little detail is carefully thought out to make your stay comfortable, relaxing, and stress-free The staff impressed me the most. They notice small details and truly care about guests. At first, I was surprised that even staff members I had never met before already knew my room number. It was a little funny and unexpected 😄 But like this you understand the high level of the service Everyone was so kind to me and always ready to help 🥺 Even if someone doesn’t speak English, they quickly use a translator and do their best to solve any problem The room is beautiful and very comfortable. The bed and pillows are probably one of my favorite parts of the stay - I honestly did not want to leave them! The room has everything you need for a relaxing stay, including nice Chinese tea, coffee, and many small details that make you feel at home like bath salt. Another very useful detail for travelers is the free self-service laundry. When you travel for a longer time, having a place where you can easily wash your clothes is a huge advantage The breakfast was also a wonderful surprise. While traveling around China, I often found that hotel breakfasts were mostly focused on Chinese food, which can sometimes be difficult for international travelers. Here, there is also a great Western breakfast with enough choices Another amazing part is the number of complimentary experiences included in the stay. Fresh fruits every day, afternoon drinks with desserts, cultural activities, and more. Sometimes there are so many things to enjoy that you don’t even want to leave the hotel😅 I especially loved the Chinese calligraphy experience. Writing calligraphy while two lovely parrots sometimes came to sit on my shoulder felt like a real journey into traditional Chinese culture. You can also create small handmade souvenirs, which makes the experience even more memorable The location is perfect, with incredible mountain views all around. And one small detail that I really appreciated: the panoramic windows are always perfectly clean. In many hotels, beautiful views are ruined by dirty windows, but here you can fully enjoy the scenery P.S.: just one small suggestion it would be great to have a “Do not disturb” sign. Some guests may want to have some private time and make sure that nobody enters the room"

The hotel is right by the river, with a snack street just downstairs, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. What I was most impressed with was the hotel's service. There was iced lemon water in the lobby, and a complimentary afternoon tea where I could enjoy tea while taking in the views from the terrace. The staff were very helpful, bringing my luggage to the room. When I left, they even gave me a thoughtful fridge magnet, which was incredibly touching. I highly recommend staying here."

"The front desk lady was super friendly. She thoughtfully arranged for our five rooms to be on the same floor, in a row, which made it really convenient for us to look after our family. The hotel's location is excellent, and the decor has a lovely Mediterranean style. It offers great value for money, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The breakfast was abundant and featured Guilin rice noodles – you could have them in soup or mixed – along with crispy roast pork and a generous self-serve selection of condiments. Turn right when you leave the hotel, and you'll find Gate 3 of Elephant Trunk Hill Park and the Sun and Moon Pagodas right there. Turn left, and you're at the pedestrian street. Getting around is incredibly easy. Highly recommend for exploring Guilin city!👍🏻"

"Kind staff. Very helpful, I would stay here again. The room was great. They had an opening and upgraded us for free. We paid for an extra day on accident and they refunded us. They took packages for us. They were great. The hotel was pretty great. The room was cute and the 5th floor had a patio that had a beautiful view of the mountains to sit and eat food or work at. I wish we got to stay longer One of my favorite hotels yet."

"I chose the Qiao CIAO Hotel for my short stay in Guilin, and its riverside location right by the Li River is absolutely fantastic! It's been raining lightly recently, and the infinity pool on the first floor looks incredibly inviting. The pool water seems to blend seamlessly with the outdoor mountain scenery, and a gentle breeze just makes you feel completely relaxed. I booked a twin room, and it was spacious and brand new. The lighting was warm and inviting, and there was a large bathtub – perfect for a relaxing soak after exploring the mountains and rivers, it really helped me unwind. You absolutely must try the Guilin rice noodles for breakfast. A warm bowl of it is incredibly satisfying, and you can add as many toppings as you like. There's also a good variety of fruits and pastries, so you can take your time and enjoy your meal without rushing. The ambiance, rooms, and breakfast were all excellent. This short trip was incredibly comfortable, and I'd definitely recommend considering this hotel if you're visiting Guilin!"
