Despite being in a bustling area, it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The hygiene standards are top-notch; every corner gleams as if new, and the room is spotless – even a clean freak wouldn't find a fault. The staff doesn't bother you unnecessarily, but they are incredibly responsive if you need anything. Check-in at the front desk was super fast, the staff were polite and accommodating, and even enthusiastically recommended some great local eateries. Free parking and fast Wi-Fi are the icing on the cake – perfect! Overall, it feels just like coming home. The basic amenities are all there, the environment is cozy and comfortable, and the warm lighting is incredibly relaxing. Plus, parking is free, and the laundry room is also complimentary and easy to use. I managed to wash a week's worth of clothes in one go, which was incredibly convenient and hassle-free."

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by amazing front desk attendant, Melody. She assisted us through out our stay and made sure we’re comfortable and well taken care of and our tour guide, Eric, who communicated fluently in English, significantly easing our experience as non-Chinese speakers.
The owner was equally gracious, sharing their barbecue with us, creating a sense of homeliness. This hotel is located just 15 minutes from the main tourist attractions, with rooms that are very clean and offer breathtaking views.
I am definitely coming back again."

A taxi from Guilin West Station to the hotel cost 45 yuan. Waiting for a ride-hailing service takes too long, and you often can't even get a booking, which I assume is common at any high-speed rail station. To get to Elephant Trunk Hill, use Entrance 3. Don't waste time going to Entrance 1, as you'll only see the elephant's backside. The one-hour Four Rivers cruise for 80 yuan per person isn't really worth it, unless you have an excess of time and nothing else to do. I recommend visiting Liu Sanjie's Former Residence instead! The cable car offers beautiful views of the 'A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains' scenery."

Since my friend had a child with her, the hotel arranged a car to take us to the high-speed rail station and even gave us a souvenir, which was a very thoughtful touch. "This hotel is genuinely great! I started looking at hotels while still on the high-speed train and browsed through many options before being captivated by the beautiful views this one offered. The front desk even called us in advance to ask about our arrival time and thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning for us. After checking in, a staff member helped carry our luggage to the room. On the way, he explained all the hotel's facilities. The sky garden on the seventh floor is absolutely stunning 🤩, and I even caught the sunrise there the next morning, which was truly breathtaking. Watching the Xiaoyao Tower from the sky garden at night is incredibly beautiful. The hotel's gym and laundry room are well-equipped, and the laundry room even has an ironing machine, which is a big plus! The room's interior has a retro-chic decor style, augmented with smart room controls, giving it a simple yet grand feel. The mini-fridge in the room is a nice touch and stocked with complimentary drinks. It's a pity I overslept and missed breakfast. Lastly, I personally found the room to be very quiet! Not as exaggeratedly noisy as some reviews suggested! Next time I'm in Guilin, or if friends visit Guilin, I will definitely recommend the Xinyu Hotel."

The restaurant of the hotel selects the fresh ingredients of the season, and uses nutritious and delicious Mediterranean food to help health. Both business travelers and families staying in leisure travel can enjoy a leisurely life and embrace a pleasant time. A total of 98 boutique guest rooms facing lake view, river view, etc. are elaborately built. The rooms are spacious and bright, with super large floor glass windows and super wide viewing terrace. "The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! It's right next to Zhengyang Pedestrian Street and all the major attractions like Xiangshan Mountain, all within walking distance, making sightseeing and shopping incredibly convenient. The rooms are clean and tidy, with complete amenities. The rooftop observation deck is the real highlight – you can take in the breathtaking views of the Li River from there, the scenery is absolutely stunning. All the pictures below were taken from the observation deck. The service was warm and meticulous, attentive and thoughtful throughout, making us feel completely at home. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of delicious options. Overall, our stay was super satisfying, and this will be our top choice for future visits to Guilin!"

PPipajiKicking off our spring break, we headed south through Guilin, Yangshuo, Nanning, and Beihai. Yangshuo Wangjianglou Inn was by far the most comfortable and convenient place we stayed. The inn's design and layout exceeded my expectations; the quality was truly impressive. Given the limitations of the building itself, they ingeniously installed a luggage elevator, which was incredibly thoughtful for both guests and staff – big thumbs up! Yangshuo county is quite small, so there's really no need to stay directly in the scenic area (it's inconvenient, overpriced, and you'd need taxis for meals and transportation, adding to costs). Staying in the West Street commercial district was a very smart decision. We stayed and ate at Wangjianglou (for those who know, their restaurant is a super popular, must-try spot in Yangshuo with long queues!). As a guest, you don't have to wait; the front desk concierge helps with reservations directly, and you even get a 10% discount on meals, which is a fantastic deal. I'm already planning to bring my family back after May Day and will definitely be staying at Wangjianglou again!

YYouxiandeyunThe hotel's location right by the Li River is quite peaceful, which I prefer over the noisy West Street area since I'm a light sleeper. I really appreciate that the front desk upgraded my room type. It's not far from West Street pedestrian street either, offering a quiet escape while still being convenient, almost like being on a backstreet in the countryside. The hotel also has its own restaurant where I ate both my meals; the food was delicious and good value for money, plus guests get a 10% discount. After dinner, a stroll along the river is lovely and relaxing, with locals also out for walks. You can get some great photos of the river and mountain views from the hotel's rooftop. They also offer self-service laundry and drying, which is super handy given how rainy and humid the weather can be here. All the staff, including housekeeping and restaurant servers, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

AApilucheeOur stay here was truly one of the highlights of our Yangshuo trip. The hotel is exceptionally family-friendly, with plenty of activities that kept both the kids and adults entertained throughout our stay. It strikes a wonderful balance between relaxation and fun, making it a perfect destination for families.
A special mention goes to the photography service, which exceeded all our expectations. The photographers were professional, patient, and wonderful with children, capturing so many beautiful and natural moments that we will treasure for years to come. The photos turned out absolutely stunning and became one of the most memorable parts of our stay.
The warm hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and thoughtful experiences made our vacation even more special. We would happily recommend this hotel to any family visiting Yangshuo and would love to return again in the future.

This hotel exceeded my expectations by far, and it’s well worth the price. I would like to start by mentioning the breakfast, with plenty of both Chinese and Western options, among which the Guilin rice noodles were the absolute highlight for me! I loved eating this local dish every morning—light yet filling, and so rich in flavor!
Another highlight was, without a doubt, the large pool with stunning views. It was always super clean and never crowded—a must in this weather! Also, the whole outdoor area is perfect for taking lovely pictures.
The room didn’t disappoint—big, bright, and luxurious, with a lovely view of the mountains (opening the curtains every morning was a show!) and a cozy bathtub.
Finally, I would like to thank the hotel staff for being so helpful and kind throughout the stay, and for helping us book a taxi to our next destination.
Honestly, there’s nothing bad I can say about this place, and I would totally recommend it. Can’t wait to be back!

WWeng Lam LaoPerfect stay at Guilin- all of the team members at LS Hotel has gone above and beyond our expectations. We have never experienced such caring and thoughtful individuals- special shout out to Kaysen, Victoria, and photographer Xiao Mo for their excellent service.
I also want to dedicate my thank you to 叶子 for her brilliant service to my husband and I today. We went out for a bike ride and suddenly, a huge storm has hit. We were drenched. We have already checked out at this point but when we arrived back to collect our luggages, she noticed our wet clothes and made sure we were properly taken cared and making sure we are okay before we leave for our train. This deserves a proper recognition.
I’d recommend LS Hotel for anyone who want a fantastic hotel experience. The hotel is beautiful, has many photo spots to taken excellent photos and even served afternoon tea in our package. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to come back to beautiful Yangshou in the future and back to this hotel!

GGuest UserOur stay at Fadai was simply wonderful and one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to China.
The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful settings for photography, surrounded by stunning mountains and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are extremely spacious and feature a huge bathtub facing the views, allowing you to relax while enjoying the magnificent scenery. It was truly unforgettable.
What made our stay even more special was the incredible staff. Everyone was exceptionally kind and always willing to help. They even went out of their way at 10:00 p.m. to find vegetarian food for us, making sure we had dinner despite the late hour.
The staff also helped us organize our visit to the local show and made sure we arrived on time. In my opinion, it was the best show I have ever seen in my life.
One of the most unique experiences offered by the hotel is the traditional Chinese photo session. The hotel provides three complimentary photos and has several beautiful settings within the property where guests can dress as women from ancient China. The staff help with the traditional costumes, makeup, and poses to ensure the photos turn out beautifully. The results are absolutely stunning. The mountain scenery creates an unforgettable backdrop and leaves you with incredible memories.
Our experience at Fadai was truly exceptional, and we recommend this hotel 100%. The location is breathtaking, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the staff are genuinely warm and caring.

The hotel is located in the heart of the Ten-Mile Gallery, far from the hustle and bustle of West Street, enjoying its own tranquil space.
Our room featured a floor-to-ceiling glass window spanning an entire wall. Honestly, photos don't capture even a tenth of its beauty! The misty green hills of the Yulong River unfold before you like a dynamic IMAX movie. It truly lives up to 'open the window to a view, sleep under the moon, and wake with the sunrise'. The service here could easily be a textbook example for the industry. If 10 is a perfect score, I'd give it 100 points.
From the butler's proactive contact after booking to the warm reception upon arrival, the entire process was smiling and efficient. When the Li River was flooding, the butler constantly reminded us to be safe. When our child wanted local fruit, the butler thoughtfully provided some. After playing in the water, our clothes got wet, and there's a self-service laundry room. We even forgot our clothes in the laundry, and the butler kindly delivered them to our room. This feeling of 'everything is handled, every need is met' is truly more touching than the standardized service of a five-star hotel.

Regarding dining, the Chinese breakfast offered authentic Guilin rice noodles, while the Western breakfast perfectly blended with Lipu taro and pumpkin. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and the coffee at Cloud Restaurant was top-notch, with the Basque cheesecake being unforgettable. The lighting in the restaurant also helps for great photos.
In terms of amenities, the hotel spared no expense: King Koil mattresses, Kohler sanitary ware, Dyson hairdryers, and even a thoughtful self-service laundry room. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, showing attention to detail. It offers the warmth of a guesthouse while maintaining five-star hotel hardware standards.
Reason for a perfect score four: Immersive local cultural experiences.
This place isn't just selling scenery; it's dedicated to sharing culture. The hotel is filled with Zhuang elements. Beyond beautiful decor, you can also enjoy free photo shoots in traditional Zhuang attire. Against the backdrop of the infinity pool and the mountains, every shot looks like a magazine cover.
Furthermore, activities like hand-sewing embroidered balls and making oil tea kept both adults and children engaged. Families with kids don't need to worry about boredom, as the children's playground and pool are enough to tire out the little 'beasts'.

Our stay happened during heavy rain, but after the rain cleared, the scenery was even more beautiful. Regardless of the weather, Jiyun possesses a different charm. We even felt a little reluctant to leave. Just like its name suggests, there's an ethereal, otherworldly quality here, yet it's filled with the warmth of home.
If you come to Yangshuo, you must 'waste' your time at Jiyun Shangyuan.
Tips:
· We recommend booking a panoramic room type or a family room for the best views.
· Definitely try the hotel's electric bicycle rental; the Ten-Mile Gallery is right at the doorstep.
· The hotel is very close to the Yulong River rafting (Shuidi section), within walking distance, which is very convenient.

YYanyumenglongzxqThe room was clean and comfortable, the overall environment was elegant, and the location was excellent. Right outside the door were West Street Pedestrian Street and the Xiao Lijiang River. The view from the hotel terrace was beautiful. You could rent a scooter and explore for a whole day. Plus, the service was warm and attentive. I was very satisfied with my stay.

EelbartoThis was the start of our 2-week journey through southern China by train from HK. It rained incredibly hard the most we stepped off the train, so we were very happy to arrive at the Shangri-La and enjoy their wonderful service and amenities.
We enjoyed an early evening couple's massage on an offer of buy-one-get-one-free, which was absolutely wonderful.
Breakfast buffet was good, not amazing, but had a wide selection of foods available.
The gym was better equipped than most hotel gyms I've encountered.
Our bed was enormous! I'm around 190cm but even I felt small in this bed 😂
Would definitely stay here again! 💯
