She was thoughtful and considerate; knowing we were immediately heading to Tianchi and our child hadn't eaten yet, she quickly prepared fruits and snacks in a bag for us to eat on the way. Unlimited access to the Lan Jing Julong Hot Springs for 3 adults and 1 child: After a tiring trip around Tianchi in the heavy rain, the hot springs were a therapeutic and relaxing experience for both body and mind. Lan Jing is the closest to the Old Mountain Gate, and the hotel's shuttle bus is the first stop, making everything very convenient. Choose Lan Jing if you're going to Tianchi. Highly recommended."

"The high temperatures persisted, so we came to Changbai Mountain to escape the heat and stayed at the Yunshuilanting Hotel. Upon check-in, Manager Dong, knowing we were two seniors over 70, provided us with the warmest service imaginable. She patiently explained the surrounding area, important considerations, and evening activities, and even brought us local seasonal blueberries. It felt like home, with the warmth of children around us. Despite it being peak tourist season and the hotel being fully booked, the cleanliness and dining were still top-notch. Of all the places we've stayed in Changbai Mountain over the past few days, this was by far the best experience. Manager Dong is an excellent leader, managing an outstanding service team."

"Location: It's near Changbaishan Station and offers a shuttle service, but during peak season, three people squeezed into the back row was quite uncomfortable. Room: The room was spacious, and the sofa bed was made up. The split-level setup was relatively comfortable. The hot springs were great. Breakfast variety and taste were just average. The 'Little Explorer' activity turned out to be just hotel staff leading a craft session. There was no public notice or mention at check-in. It was only when I asked at the front desk upon checkout that I was able to get two craft kits."

"Stayed from September 1st-3rd with friends. Room: We received an upgrade to a mountain view room, and on clear days, you could see Changbai Mountain. The room was comfortable, and upon entering, there was a pleasant, comforting scent. The butler service was excellent. They communicated with us before check-in, arranged pickup, and proactively checked in after we settled to ensure everything was satisfactory and promptly resolve any issues. Their inquiries weren't just procedural; they genuinely solved problems. Breakfast and Dinner: Breakfast offered both Chinese and Western options, easily meeting five-star standards. We left feeling full and satisfied. For dinner, we had the hot pot set for two, which was definitely filling. The restaurant staff were all very warm and friendly. We felt one of the hams in the hot pot set had too much starch and asked to swap it for another dish. Although items in the set couldn't be changed, the manager still offered us a fruit platter as an apology. Environment: The hotel felt very homey and family-friendly. There were small animals for kids to enjoy and a coffee bookstore for business travelers. The attention to detail was impressive. The complimentary bar drink coupon even included a glass of red wine, which my friend said was excellent – an imported Chilean wine. Activities: Although Changbai Mountain canceled the hotel's VIP park access, we could still use the old mountain gate, which was more convenient than the regular tourist entrance. A tip for everyone: pre-booked tickets cannot be used even a second before your scheduled time, so don't arrive too early. We booked a stream trekking activity through the hotel and had a fantastic time, so much so that we missed our return bus. We contacted our butler, and they specially dispatched a private car to pick us up from the scenic area. We had a wonderful time during our two-day stay. All the staff were incredibly friendly. No matter if your request was outside their usual scope of responsibility, they handled it with kindness, actively sought solutions, and did everything they could. My accompanying friend, who has stayed in many high-end hotels both domestically and internationally, was also very impressed. They even said the service was better than some hotels costing ten thousand a day. Upon departure, we were given a small fridge magnet as a souvenir. The service was meticulously attentive. "Right at check-in, we were given two warm bottles of Changbai Mountain mineral water. The room was standard, and the heating was very strong – we had to sleep with the window open. The hot springs, however, are in a separate building, and you have to walk through the lobby on the ground floor to get to them. The lobby and the breakfast area on the second floor weren't warm enough, making it easy to catch a cold after coming back from the hot springs. The hot springs themselves are communal and only have a few small pools; it's not really worth going unless you just want a quick taste of Changbai Mountain's hot springs."

"Check-in Dates: December 7th (Check-in) to December 10th (Check-out) Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, they were well-maintained, and the rooms were clean and tidy, making me feel very comfortable. The hotel staff deserves the most praise; everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. We had originally planned to visit Changbai Mountain, but the mountain was closed due to weather, disrupting our plans. We are very grateful to the hotel manager, Fang Lin, and our driver, Zhang Ming, for proactively helping us rearrange our itinerary. They recommended and assisted us with activities such as snowmobile rides, horse-drawn sleigh rides, skiing, and ice fishing, ensuring our trip was still exciting and fulfilling. We are from the south and this was our first time in Northeast China, and we had never tried frozen pears before. When Zhang Ming saw this, he specially treated us to frozen pears, making us feel incredibly thoughtful and cared for. Throughout the entire trip, the staff promptly helped resolve any problems we encountered; their service was truly excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel."

"I had always wanted to stay at Jiuzhai Yongguichuan, and since Changbaishan had just opened, I specifically chose to come to the North Slope this time, forgoing the West Slope resort. If this review had been written yesterday, it might not even have received a three-star rating, but since the hotel made an effort to adjust yesterday, I'm giving it four stars overall. From an environmental perspective, there's nothing to fault; the decor and design are excellent, and I really liked the room. However, my check-in experience on the first day was: The service attitude was very good, but they were incompetent at actually getting things done. The problems included: absolutely no turndown service (I had asked the front desk about this during check-in, and they said someone would come find us upon arrival, which never happened); The so-called welcome ceremony was just two glasses of water and three pieces of *dagaos* (rice cakes), with no ladies in traditional attire as advertised; My stored luggage couldn't be found by the front desk; There were no coffee beans for breakfast 😂; The curtain in the room was broken, and I was woken up by the light at 5 AM...; There were only mineral water bottles, no soft drinks as listed; And all services were incredibly slow, giving me the impression that the service was more like a private guesthouse than a hotel – very chaotic. Because the check-in experience was so unsatisfactory, I provided feedback yesterday. After yesterday's feedback, today's breakfast had coffee, and the room was also changed. This was quite good :) For a hotel at this price point, my experience at Yongguichuan this time was still a bit disappointing, mainly regarding breakfast and service."
