I'll say the most important thing three times: highly recommend, highly recommend, highly recommend! Especially for those arriving by cruise ship—the guesthouse is just a 10-minute walk once you disembark. It’s right next door to the police station and diagonally across from the local government building, giving you that ultimate sense of security. It's only a 3-minute walk to the nearest entrance of West Street, perfectly nestled in a quiet spot amid the hustle and bustle. I absolutely love the decor. They have several purebred cats and a dog, all rather aloof—I’d suggest bringing some snacks to win them over. The room is warmly decorated and even features an oversized bathtub. They also provide alcohol spray, laundry detergent, and disinfectant. These thoughtful little touches really touched my heart. The room was super quiet with no strange noises, just the soft hum of the air conditioner, which is very faint. If you are sensitive to noise, you might want to bring a pair of earplugs, and you won't hear a thing. This is honestly the most satisfying guesthouse I've ever stayed at. Highly recommended once again, from the bottom of my heart!

When planning my trip to Yangshuo, I checked out quite a few hotels in advance. The location of (BO·HUI Hotel (Yangshuo West Street& Lijiang River) is quite close to Longtoushan Pier. If you take a cruise to Yangshuo, you can actually walk straight to the hotel with your luggage. Turn right out of the hotel and walk just a few steps to Diecui Road, which puts you right at the edge of West Street. It's super convenient. The service here is also very good. As soon as I booked, a duty manager proactively reached out to add me on WeChat. After check-in, responses were prompt, and they were attentive to our needs. When we arrived, our booked river-view room wasn't ready yet, and the previous guest had smoked inside, leaving a lingering smell of smoke. The front desk proactively informed us about this and offered a complimentary upgrade to a family room, inviting us to take a look before deciding. However, the family room had a corridor on one side and very close residential buildings on the other, and it might have been closed up for a while—while it was more spacious, it felt a bit stuffy. We decided to stick with our original room, and the front desk arranged for smoke deodorization. When we were planning to take a taxi out, the front desk proactively reminded us to set our pin to Friendship Hotel, as Binjiang Road right outside is restricted to vehicles and taxis can't drive up to the entrance, which saved us a lot of unnecessary hassle. Every time we came and went, the front desk staff were very friendly and especially sweet to children. Later, when we tried out the rubbings (block printing) experience, they patiently taught us how to do it; once we got the hang of it, we could do it on our own, which gave us plenty of freedom. The room features a spacious 2-meter king-size bed and a balcony facing the Li River. The bedding was quite comfortable to sleep on, especially the pillows—they seemed to be filled with some kind of granular material, rather than being completely soft and unsupportive. The minibar offers three complimentary drinks, and a jar on the counter was stocked with snowflake crisps and soft candies. For tea, they provide CHALI tea bags and locally featured Luo Han Guo (monk fruit) tea. Slippers included both plastic and disposable options. The bathroom provided oak-scented shower gel that smelled amazing, and shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and hand soap were all fully stocked. The water flow from the shower faucet was quite gentle, but the toggle button between the hand shower and overhead rain shower was a bit faulty—it easily snapped back by itself, switching the water back to the overhead shower. All in all, I chose (BO·HUI Hotel (Yangshuo West Street& Lijiang River) because of its great location, relatively recent opening date, and positive reviews. The actual experience lived up to them. The service was warm and attentive, the breakfast was on the smaller side but tasted good, and while the AC seemed centrally controlled as we couldn't find a control panel in the room, it stayed consistently cool and comfortable. Right downstairs, there's a quiet and nicely decorated bar. Areas for improvement would be that even after the room deodorization treatment, a faint smell of smoke could still be detected when sleeping on the right side of the bed, and the shower faucet toggle wasn't working smoothly.

Everything from the service and environment to the breakfast was simply fantastic. The hotel room is huge—even bigger than many five-star hotels. The butler service was also very thoughtful, sending reminders for breakfast and late-night snacks, and patiently helping with travel inquiries. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Guilin. It is truly wonderful.

I brought my parents to Yangshuo, and we had a very comfortable stay here. The room was quiet, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive, immediately addressing any needs we had. They offer breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening desserts, plus self-service coffee and tea available all day. The rooftop view is amazing, and you can even watch the sunrise on a clear day! Overall, it was a great experience 😊

The location is good, not too far to walk to West Street. Renting an electric scooter from here to visit the Ten-Mile Gallery is a great choice. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, and it's not too noisy. However, I'd recommend traveling during off-peak times, as the area around the hotel gets extremely congested on holidays.

The hotel environment is fantastic. When we first arrived, we thought we might have taken a wrong turn, but the hotel is very thoughtful with plenty of clear directional signs. The staff were also very friendly and patient, answering every question we had. It's a great place for a family vacation with kids. Located right by the river, you can watch bamboo rafts gliding by and enjoy great views of the Li River right from the hotel. The view looking down from the rooftop terrace at night is also breathtaking. We also tried the hotel's travel photography service, and the photos turned out amazing. When I shared them with friends, they thought the background scenery was photoshopped! The photographer was very patient and extremely skilled.

The location is a huge plus, making getting around super easy! It's a 5-minute walk to Guanlian Pier and just 10 minutes to Yangshuo West Street. It's also convenient to rent electric scooters nearby, and for those driving, there's a free parking lot and charging stations. The massive balcony directly faces the Li River, offering panoramic views of the mountains and water, creating an instant luxurious ambiance. The hotel boasts a popular infinity pool and a 'Sky Mirror' that's great for photos, plus a fully equipped gym and a children's play area, making it suitable for both couples and families. The breakfast and dinner experience was excellent. There's a rich selection of both Chinese and Western breakfast options, and upon check-in, we received a complimentary exquisite double welcome afternoon tea, which was both beautiful and delicious. 📍 Shixi Tianyue Riverview Hotel (Yangshuo West Street Li River Branch)
