This was my second stay, but overall, it wasn't as good as the first time. When I checked in, the front desk told me that the king-size room I originally booked was full and they'd upgraded me to a round bed room. I figured there wouldn't be much difference, so I agreed. However, when I got to the room and tried to use the key card, it wouldn't open. I called the front desk, and they said the card probably hadn't been activated properly. I had to wait a few minutes outside the door, which was quite inconvenient. Also, in the round bed room, the power outlets near the headboard were too far away, making it really hard to charge my devices 😓. These issues were somewhat acceptable, but then around 9 AM the next morning, the landline in the room rang unexpectedly. I'm not sure if it was the front desk or someone else, but it really disrupted my sleep. The soundproofing wasn't great either; I kept hearing loud noises from the hallway. Next time I'm in Tongren, I'll definitely have to reconsider staying at this hotel.

Originally, I just wanted a clean and comfortable place to stay, but I unexpectedly found a whole warm and welcoming experience at Gu Shang Ju. Having stayed in countless hotels and guesthouses, only here did I truly feel what it means to have warmth, kindness, and thoughtfulness. I was reluctant to leave and must give this a positive review—this is my personal experience, and I, Li Hua, am not exaggerating. Upon arriving in Xingyi, the owner's warmth instantly touched me. Knowing that my in-laws were elderly and had difficulty traveling, she immediately drove to the high-speed rail station to pick them up and drop them off, providing meticulous and thoughtful service throughout. She treated them with the patience and care of her own elders, making the elderly couple feel instantly at ease upon arrival. After checking in, we discovered the kitchen lacked proper utensils, making cooking inconvenient. She repeatedly and warmly invited us to her home for meals, where a table was laden with steaming hot Guizhou-style home-cooked dishes, each bite a taste of home. The owner isn't a relative, but she's more than a family member. This sincerity and kindness were especially precious in an unfamiliar city, and they warmed our hearts. The owner was incredibly cheerful and generous, always enthusiastically recommending great attractions in Xingyi to help us avoid any pitfalls. She also absolutely adores animals! I brought my pet along without any worries or inconvenience; she was gentle and loving, exceptionally caring and tolerant of the little guy. We were truly lucky to have such a kind and compassionate pet owner. Being guests here was the greatest blessing of our trip. Gu Shang Ju not only boasts impeccable hospitality, but its facilities and attention to detail are also exceptional, completely exceeding our expectations. The entire house is equipped with smart technology. Just a simple call of ”Xiao Ai” (a smart speaker) upon entering allows you to easily manage everything in the house. No lifting a finger, no hassle—lazy people, the elderly, and children can all enjoy a very comfortable stay. The room design is warm and stylish, the decor exquisite and sophisticated, and the bedding is so soft and comfortable that you won't want to get up, sleeping soundly through the night. The attention to detail is evident throughout: the shower water is softened, with a gentle flow that leaves you feeling relaxed and comfortable after a bath; the in-room drinking fountain is a major highlight, providing sweet, warm drinking water with just the touch of a button—clean, hygienic, convenient, and quick, ensuring safe drinking water for the elderly and children at all times. The room itself is very new, yet completely odorless, clean, tidy, and well-ventilated, demonstrating meticulous daily cleaning and maintenance. Most thoughtfully, it also features an elevator, making it easy for the elderly or those with a lot of luggage to move around—perfect for family trips. The location is also superb, facilitating both travel and daily life! It's a ten-minute walk to the Malinghe Scenic Area, a 20-minute drive to the Wanfenglin 5A Scenic Area, and half an hour to the Fenglin Buyi Scenic Area. Whether you're visiting attractions or enjoying the scenery, everything is within easy reach, saving you time and effort. The surrounding amenities are surprisingly comprehensive: downstairs there's a farmers' market, pharmacy, supermarket, and countless restaurants and snack shops offering authentic flavors and a wide variety of choices. There are also two billiard halls, providing everything you need for leisure and entertainment. Staying here eliminates all the inconvenience of getting around or daily life, making for a truly immersive travel experience. The value for money is so high that I can't help but feel sorry for the owner: the prices are affordable, yet every detail—the decor, service, and everything else—is impeccable. She treats every guest with care, warmth, and sincerity. I often wonder, can such a genuine and dedicated woman really make money? In 2026, my New Year's journey began at Gu Shang Ju. Here, there was a comfortable living environment, meticulous care, and a rare sense of human warmth. Sister Yingzi is very hospitable, sincere and comfortable with others. This time I was traveling with my parents and brother during the National Day. The room I booked was spacious enough to live in, and the facilities were new and clean. The pictures and texts of many B&Bs I have stayed in before are very inconsistent. Sister Yingzi's place is better than the pictures and expectations. Every corner is cleaned well and considered very thoughtfully. The location of the small courtyard is very good. It is right on the road, which is also suitable for friends who drive by themselves. The local driver recommended by Sister Yingzi was also very helpful. Due to a time arrangement error that day, we almost missed the high-speed train. Sister Yingzi helped us deal with it in a timely manner. The decoration of the villa is also very tasteful. The courtyard is also very clean and comfortable. I stayed with my mother for a while in the evening and it was very pleasant. I just forgot to take pictures. My mother said she liked it very much. Unfortunately, the schedule was tight and I couldn't stay a few more days. Next time I will stay here again when I come to Anshun. The bean and rice hotpot and breakfast shop recommended by Sister Yingzi are both delicious, and I particularly like the taste. This is my second time staying at Manhui Sujia Hotel, and I'm not disappointed. The hotel not only provides free coffee, juice, milk tea, facial masks and eye masks, but also free use of washing machines and dryers. The lounge area at the front desk is also very thoughtful. The hotel also has a homemade guide for reference. It is really friendly for foreign tourists. The sanitation is super clean and tidy, even the dead corners are cleaned very well. The service of the lady at the front desk is super good and super enthusiastic. After sending us to the room, she also introduced us how to use the facilities in the room. It's so thoughtful. I highly recommend it, highly recommend it, and I say it three times because it's important. I will bring my friends with me next time.

This riverside hotel is incredibly quiet, clean, and cozy. The views from the balcony are absolutely stunning, especially the breathtaking night scene. It's only a two-minute walk to the Old Town Pedestrian Street, which is super convenient. Qinglong Cave Scenic Area is directly across from the balcony, just a short walk over a bridge, making it very accessible.

Excellent location adjacent (10 min walk) to bus stops that can get you to the HSR train station, and to the bus station where you can catch a bus to the big waterfall- Huangguoshu Waterfall. Hostel owner was willing to drive me to the big bridge for the bungee jump; for a fee (it's about a 2-hour drive- Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge. Place is otherwise in good walking-distance to the Confucius place, and the Lake, and the main market streets. Living room area is amazing with 20-foot floor to ceiling windows, spiral staircase, and street view. Hardwood floors. Responsive manager.

I read the reviews and said it was very good. After coming here, I was not disappointed. A hotel with a very artistic feel and ethnic characteristics. Seeing that I had a big boy with me, the landlady upgraded us to a double room, loft, and tatami for free. The child was very happy to live upstairs. The proprietress is very nice. Entry and exit are prohibited in the village at 19 o'clock. We got off the high-speed train a little late and could not pick up the car. When we left, the village issued new regulations that did not allow us to pick up tourists. The proprietress found a car to take us off with her own money. She told us along the way to contact us at any time. , give the boss lady a thumbs up!

The room was clean and tidy, with four bottles of water provided per room. The breakfast was also quite good, with a variety of staple foods. The hotel is not far from Libo Ancient Town, but the ancient town is not the town center, so the surrounding area is not very lively.

This river-view room is fantastic, right next to Zhusheng Bridge – a prime spot! Don't let the guesthouse's small facade fool you; the rooms are fully equipped, clean, tidy, and comfortable. Qinglong Cave is just across the river. Within a two-minute walk, you'll find scenic spots, supermarkets, restaurants, breakfast places, and local specialty shops – super convenient! The owner is warm and down-to-earth. He even picked us up from outside town and arranged free parking for my car in his garage, helping us with our luggage. It was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. We had a wonderful time in Zhenyuan Ancient Town, and this guesthouse, 'Zhuimeng Shuixie,' was definitely a big part of that great experience. The hotel is located at the entrance to the road leading to the fanjingshan scenic area. It will take you around a 15mins walk or so to reach the tourist centre where you can purchase your tickets to enter the park. The hotel is mostly aurrounded by fellow hotels and restaurants and a tiny weeny convenience stall just beside the hotel. The plump lady receptionist might sound crude but she is extremely friendly and helpful. The reception area is sparse but the room is defintely okay.not many guests when i was staying there. It is worth a stay though there is nothing much to do around the area and if your aim is just to visit fanjingshan
