"This was my second stay at a Wanda property. Because hotel prices were much higher than usual at Wanda during Chinese New Year, I opted for the Sheraton instead, even though two nights still cost nearly 7,000 RMB. But to my surprise, I was disappointed in every aspect… Firstly, on February 16th, as soon as I entered the lobby, I saw guests arguing with hotel staff. I wasn't sure about the specific reason, but I already had a bad feeling. Secondly, February 16th was Chinese New Year's Eve. My family of three was watching the Spring Festival Gala in the room, and when we tried to pull down the shower curtain, it was broken. After reporting it, we found that even when the curtain was down, it was still see-through… I nearly fainted! This might be okay for couples, but if you're traveling with friends or family with kids, wouldn't that be incredibly awkward? Then, when we were ready to sleep that night, we discovered an issue with the toilet – there was a constant dripping sound, which was driving me crazy. It was Chinese New Year and the middle of the night, so I decided to deal with it the next day. I communicated with the hotel concierge in the morning but never heard back about a resolution. After breakfast, I had to speak to the front desk myself to get a room change… It was a huge hassle, moving from one end of the hotel to the other (a very long walk, dragging suitcases for 10 minutes, and taking two different elevators). The most ridiculous part was that this concierge, after we checked in, enthusiastically recommended various paid activities to us, and we even booked some through him… Ha! During Chinese New Year, I didn't want to ruin our trip or make things difficult for the staff who were still working. So, I tried to keep my negative emotions to myself. However, an old, established hotel, even if it's been open for a long time, isn't excused from all problems. Proper equipment maintenance and staff quality training are just basic operational necessities, aren't they? If they only think about making money from customers' pockets without any sincerity, how far can they really go?"

"This hotel is conveniently located for your trip to Changbai Mountain. It's a 2-3 minute walk to the West Scenic Area and a 7-minute taxi ride to Changbai Mountain West Railway Station, making early morning hikes easy. The rooms are fully equipped with smart home technology, allowing for easy voice control of appliances. The bathrooms feature a separate shower and toilet for a clean and dry feel. The public areas have an LG washer-dryer combo, and a robot can deliver items, solving laundry and meal delivery problems during your trip. The front desk service is patient and attentive, and the breakfast selection is plentiful. Overall, it offers excellent value for money and a worry-free stay."

"The rooms are quite old and outdated. Compared to my first stay three years ago, the facilities and service are simply incomparable. The only upside is that the room is very spacious and has a dedicated kitchen. While there's no electric stove in the kitchen, its large size is great for storing things. The amenities are generally quite old; for instance, the magnifying mirror in the bathroom had come loose from its screws and fallen off. However, after I called, they sent someone to fix it immediately. On the day we checked in, the underfloor heating in both the living room and bedroom wasn't on, making it very cold. It only got slightly better on the second day. The overall heating supply is insufficient, and I had to wear thick clothes indoors. Compared to Wanda, the heating supply is much worse. The service on the night of check-in was good; the front desk even helped receive a package for me, which was convenient. However, after the front desk staff changed on the morning of the 25th, the service became very poor, especially from a female staff member standing on the left side. She answered 'I don't know' to everything. When I asked about the price of ski tickets, how to buy them, and if there were any discounts, she didn't even look up and replied that we needed to go out and find out ourselves, and that these questions were irrelevant to the hotel and she wouldn't answer them. The service in the breakfast restaurant on the first floor of the hotel was quite good, and the complimentary ginseng chicken soup set dinner was also delicious. The restaurant servers provided excellent service. Also, we stayed in a one-bedroom suite, and the living room had a sofa bed that could be pulled out for children, but the living room bathroom had no toiletries whatsoever. I had to call twice to get them delivered, which was very inconvenient."

"The suite was perfect for a family with kids; the sofa could be made into a comfortable bed for one person. The hotel shuttle to the ski resort ran every 10 minutes, and the front desk helped us arrange a coach and rent ski clothes, which was very convenient. We participated in many hotel activities, and the hiking one was excellent!"

"The Changbaishan Meijingge Resort Hotel is quite good. Every casual photo turns into a stunning snowy landscape. Enjoying the beautiful Changbai Mountains from the balcony is fantastic. The ski resort has excellent snow quality and isn't crowded. After skiing, you can head straight to the outdoor hot springs. Soaking in the hot springs at -20℃ while watching the snow fall is an amazing experience. In the evening, you can also go to the town to watch the iron flower show. Manager Coco provided thoughtful and timely service, and the shuttle arrangements were perfect. Skiing, hot springs, and delicious food—it's a one-stop shop for a winter getaway in Changbai Mountains. You can't go wrong, just go for it!"

"This hotel is in an excellent location, just a few hundred meters from the Wanda Resort, with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, and beautiful scenery. The owner is incredibly welcoming, always smiling with a warm, honest expression. Their travel itinerary suggestions are exceptionally professional; they planned our three-day trip perfectly, ensuring we saw everything without feeling rushed or tired. It truly felt like coming home, and it significantly improved my impression of Northeast China. Definitely a full-mark recommendation!"

"This guesthouse has such a great vibe! The front desk area itself was already lovely, very Western European in style, and the rooms also had a fantastic atmosphere. The concierge messaged me on WeChat beforehand and gave me tons of tips and recommendations. It's only about a 15-minute walk from the guesthouse to the visitor center, which is super convenient. They also offer activities like handicrafts, sutra copying,溪溯, and ginseng digging – so many experiences to enjoy! 🤩 Another pleasant surprise was getting a room upgrade, which also included breakfast. "Our group of 11 carefully selected this hotel after much deliberation. Since it was very close to the ticket gate, we didn't expect anything special. However, the staff at the front desk were incredibly attentive and welcoming upon check-in, quickly assigning us room numbers. When we entered the room, we were all astonished by its spaciousness, smart toilet, and enormous smart bathroom. The bed was exceptionally white and felt luxurious to lie on. Air conditioning and a TV were all functional, not just for show. For this price, everything here was incredibly affordable. The front desk staff and owner explained the attractions and suggested alternative places to visit and eat. We tried them out, and they were indeed excellent. One of my companions even lost her phone at a foot massage parlor in the city, and the owner helped her find it – a truly heartwarming gesture. Having traveled independently for years, I never leave positive or negative reviews; everything comes and goes naturally. But after staying at Jintang, I couldn't help but write something. In short, for hotels in the Changbai Mountain West Scenic Area tourist distribution center, Jintang is definitely the top choice."

"First off, the hotel was very cheap. Getting around wasn't convenient. Since I visited during the hotel's off-season, there weren't many guests. However, precisely because there weren't many guests, I wish the hotel would pay more attention to room maintenance. When I first entered the room, it felt very run-down, with many stains. There was a large stain visible by the bed, and the floor had obvious moldy black spots. I reported this to the front desk, and they offered a few other rooms to switch to, but after looking at them, none were much better, so I didn't bother changing. At night, when I turned on the TV, there was no signal. And even funnier, when I picked up the remote control, its battery cover was missing, and the batteries were exposed. There were two phones in the room, and one of them was broken. When I turned on the lights at night, the switch panel felt very stiff and jammed when pressed. After pressing it, the switch cover fell off. Can you imagine me staying in an international brand hotel with room conditions like this? The air conditioning was also very loud, humming away. Because there were so few people, breakfast was served as a set menu. While a set menu isn't inherently a problem, if there's less food, couldn't it at least be made better? The sausages were starchy, the bread was very dry, the fried noodles were inedible, and the Chinese pastries were just lukewarm, not hot at all. I hope the hotel can improve, otherwise, it will only get worse and worse."

"We had a very satisfying holiday experience. Even though it was a public holiday, it didn't feel crowded at all. The hotel's pool and hot spring baths were practically empty during the day, so we had them all to ourselves. Breakfast offered a great variety of options. The boardwalk behind the hotel made it very convenient to walk to the cable car and food street. Most importantly, the service throughout our stay was excellent. I rarely encounter such attentive service, especially from our duty manager, Joy. A huge thank you to her!"
