"I booked a slightly more expensive room type (twin beds with a small balcony), thinking it would be better in all aspects, but I was very disappointed. 1. Location: The room is right above a pedestrian street, which is very noisy. Even with the windows fully closed, it didn't help. Plus, it's directly opposite a Mixue Ice Cream & Tea store that plays promotional songs constantly until 10 PM. See picture one. 2. Room Type: The bathroom design in this room is completely illogical. After you shower and step out, naked, you're directly face-to-face with your companion lying in bed watching TV. It's really awkward. (I don't know if other room types are like this.) Anyway, the designer clearly wasn't thinking. See picture two. Also, the window next to the bathroom has no curtain, so it gets incredibly bright in the morning. The photo was taken at 6 AM, see picture two. Furthermore, the so-called balcony advertised is small and cramped, offering no view – you can only look up at the sky. 3. Service: It's terrible! There's no mini-fridge! People traveling in the summer should seriously reconsider. And the electric kettle was broken, full of cold water (likely left by the previous guest). The cleaning staff was very perfunctory. Seeing that we were staying for two days, they didn't replenish the tissues and didn't even want to take out the regular trash. Ugh, I'll be polite and grudgingly give it a 4-star rating."

"The hotel is conveniently located close to the ancient city, just a short walk away. However, getting around the hotel can be a bit inconvenient. The lobby is on the 4th floor, and the parking is on the -2nd floor, accessible by a different elevator. After parking, you have to take the elevator up to the 4th floor, and there's a section where you have to carry your luggage down stairs without a ramp, which isn't ideal. After checking in at the 4th-floor lobby, you then need to take another elevator to your room. If you want to leave the hotel, you first have to take an elevator to the 4th-floor lobby, and then take a different elevator from the 4th-floor lobby down to the 1st floor. This constant switching of elevators, especially if you need to go back to your car to get something, is quite cumbersome and not very practical."

"We drove from Chengdu to the hotel... The journey was smooth, and the hotel was easy to find (just follow the navigation). I booked two king-size rooms with breakfast on Trip.com for around 560 RMB (checking in on Friday, checking out on Saturday). At check-in, the staff upgraded our room to an executive room! ♥️♥️♥️♥️ The hotel is huge and beautifully decorated inside. There's a bookstore, tea house, KTV, and gym (I saw it advertised but didn't go). There are also plenty of dining options: a buffet and Chinese restaurants (Deyuan and another one). You really don't need to leave the hotel to have a good time. 😉 Of course, our main reason for choosing this hotel was the outdoor hot springs. (It's a bit crazy to go to hot springs in this weather, to be honest 😅). Their hot springs don't open in the morning 😔, only from 2 PM (I thought it would be like Huashuiwan, where you can soak in the morning) until 10 PM. There are many outdoor pools to choose from, such as tangerine peel, rose, ginger, and mineral water pools... quite a lot (the names might not be 100% accurate, but they're close enough). The water temperatures also vary, from 35-40℃. I really think soaking in the hot springs here would be incredibly comfortable in spring or autumn. 👍 Soaking in the summer is definitely quite an experience! 😅 Another great thing about the hotel's hot springs is that you can change in your room or near the pools. It's very convenient to shower, wash your hair, and blow dry after soaking. The hotel even thoughtfully provides spin-dryers (so your swimwear isn't dripping wet) and plenty of disposable bags for wet clothes. Overall, these small details were very well considered (there's even warm water or lemon water available near the hot spring pools). The hotel's breakfast is from 7 AM to 10 AM, and the variety is incredibly rich! Super delicious! 🤩👍 All of the above was positive... now for some suggestions! 😂 1. The hotel doesn't have an indoor heated swimming pool, or even a deeper outdoor pool for swimming. Most of the pools are more like splash pads for children. 2. The 'robot delivery for in-room amenities' service is basically just for show. It's a nice idea, providing convenience for guests to scan a QR code and order daily necessities like water (4 complimentary bottles daily), slippers (2 complimentary pairs), etc. It seemed like a fantastic service, something I hadn't seen in a hotel before. But after you scan and place an order, it just says 'preparing' and stays that way until you check out. When you try to cancel, worrying the robot made a wasted trip, and call the customer service number provided, no one answers. 📞 I think the hotel's intention and creativity are good, but they should follow through. Or, as the front desk suggested, perhaps sometimes too many items are ordered for the robot to deliver. If that's the case, they could put a notice on their mini-program interface, so guests would be aware when placing additional orders. 😂 From initial excitement... to 24 hours later with no news. 😂"

"Facilities: The room amenities are decent, but the smart curtain is a bit silly. You can't control it individually, meaning if you want to close it, you have to close everything. There's no screen on the street-facing side, and it's very close to the building opposite, so you can see everything happening in their rooms (and they can see everything happening in yours). Service: This isn't my first stay here. The first time, after receiving the booking, the host promptly contacted us to tell us where the free parking was, and the entire check-in and check-out process was very smooth. The contact person at the time was also very enthusiastic and helped with everything. This time, after booking, I didn't receive a confirmation call or parking information from the host until around 5 PM when I checked in. So we drove straight to the same parking lot we used last time. There was even a poster in the parking lot with the accommodation's name on it. But when we checked out, we were told we had to pay for parking before leaving. We were like, 'What?????' We called the host, and they said, 'Oh, we're no longer partnered with that parking lot.' ???? If you're no longer partnered, why didn't you say something beforehand? If you're no longer partnered, why didn't you contact your customers in advance to inform them of the new parking location? If you're no longer partnered, why didn't you take down the poster with your accommodation's name in that parking lot? Just because you're no longer partnered, you can't just assume old customers will know, right? You can't provide detailed service the first time and then start to get perfunctory, right? Why not just write in your policy changes: 'As of [date], this establishment no longer provides free parking service'? Running a hotel or guesthouse can't just be about being disorganized and then just saying 'sorry,' can it? Repeat customers come back because they approved of their first experience. Aren't you just cutting off your own repeat business? Other aspects were okay. This time, it might be approaching peak season, and the accommodation seems less soundproof. Wearing earplugs at night can still solve the problem. Breakfast is dumplings, noodles, and tangyuan (sweet glutinous rice balls). If you don't like it, you can walk around the street; there are plenty of places to eat, but the prices are random. Double refined afternoon tea: The afternoon tea was also pretty good. [Exclusive for guests] Slow-cooked old fire stew ● Goodnight sweet soup: This was hot milk."

"A truly satisfying and warm experience! The owner was incredibly welcoming, personally picking us up and dropping us off. They even treated us to afternoon tea, so we could immediately relax with some local specialty fruits and 'xiaomahua' (small fried dough twists) upon arrival. They also shared some really helpful travel tips. The room itself was clean and cozy."

"Location: It's inside the scenic area but not noisy, very quiet. Cleanliness: It's clean but could use more attention to detail. Service: I arrived late at night, after midnight, and the front desk staff were resting. They woke up as soon as I called and their service attitude was excellent. Facilities: Honestly, I found having a direct drinking water dispenser in the room a bit underwhelming. It felt a bit too much like cost-cutting. Environment: Super comfortable!"

"I came to Dujiangyan to relax, and after comparing several hotels, I finally chose this one – and it definitely didn't disappoint! The location is incredibly convenient; it's just a few minutes' walk to Nanqiao to see the 'blue tears.' Downstairs, there are tons of local snacks, so whatever you're craving is just a short stroll away. The room is fully smart, and the private in-room hot spring was spotlessly clean. They even provided disposable bathtub liners and toilet seat covers. There's an underground parking lot, which is super convenient, and the front desk was quick to respond to any requests. After exploring the scenic area, coming back to soak in the hot spring really helped me unwind."

"Very warm, friendly, and helpful reception. Room is extremely spacious. Thanks to a complimentary upgrade, we’ve enjoyed the private hot spring (tub). The host also helped us with booking of tickets to Panda Valley. We left our luggage to visit Qingcheng Shan, and when we returned to pick them up before heading to Chengdu, we were gifted oranges and water for the ride. Breakfast is very food - the widest spread of selection amongst the many hotels and guesthouses we have stayed in Sichuan. A good base to explore Qingcheng. Highly recommended."

"Visiting Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain was truly a great experience, and the hotel stay was fantastic. It's just a one-minute walk from the high-speed rail station, which is perfect for out-of-town visitors. The service was also very good; they were always ready to help with anything. The decor has a great vibe, and I imagine the owner is a cultured person. The bamboo-woven 'green mountain' at the entrance of the lobby is especially the highlight of the entire hotel. Highly recommend it! The price is also reasonable. I'll definitely choose Yue Shang Qing Xiang again if I get the chance."

"Out of all the places we stayed during our trip, this was by far the most comfortable. The garden landscaping is incredibly well-designed, with all the plants and trees meticulously cared for. They have a pool and a hot spring, and I even discovered a mahjong room! All sorts of flowers are in full bloom, and waking up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning was delightful. I really wish we could have stayed a few more nights. It's close to the Panda Valley, and the owner was so thoughtful, driving us to the scenic area and dinner spots. I'm already planning to bring my family back to stay here next time."
