"It's a river view room, and it came with hot springs and complimentary tea, so overall it was pretty good value for money. You can tell it's an older, more traditional hotel in the area. The breakfast is 40 yuan per person, which I personally found a bit pricey. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but they are clean and tidy. The 'Blue Tears' on the 19th floor was fantastic! The complimentary tea was also very good, and the service was excellent."

"The villa is very spacious, and there's a sofa bed downstairs that can be opened up. There's also a plunge pool in the courtyard, though I don't think it's hot spring water. It's right across from Sunac (Rongchuang), and in the evenings, the roadside is bustling with small food stalls. A bit further down, there's also a very long food street."

"This guesthouse-like accommodation offers very warm service. The surroundings are quiet and comfortable, and the room is clean and spacious. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide a great view, with mountains visible right outside. The buffet breakfast is delicious and varied; although there aren't many options in each category, everything tastes great. The front desk service is excellent – they are very generous with giving out Nongfu Spring bottled water and 1.5-liter small barrels of water. They can help arrange transportation to Panda Valley, and it's convenient to get a ride-hailing car from the entrance to Dujiangyan and Mount Qingcheng. The only thing that could be improved is the quality of the disposable toiletries. The hot springs aren't ideal in summer, and the pool is quite small, more suitable for kids to splash around in; I didn't see any guests using it this time. I forgot my sun hat when checking out, and the owner kindly mailed it to me in Chengdu city for free, which I really appreciate!"

"We stayed for 3 days as a relaxing getaway and spent a lot of time in the hotel. The smart home features were very modern, and we really liked the room. Since we were traveling with a child, the 1.5m twin beds were very spacious, and the room itself was large. The vanity was wide with a big mirror, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. The air conditioning was excellent; it would cool the room down significantly within 10 minutes of turning it on after coming back from outside. The hotel is conveniently located on the main street, making it easy to access food, shopping, and transportation, yet it still felt peaceful. The third floor had an elegant ambiance with a lovely courtyard, perfect for relaxing outdoors. We'll definitely come back again."

"A Hidden Treasure This guesthouse was one of the best surprises of our trip. Its location is perfect—right in the heart of the ancient town on the pedestrian street, making it easy to explore, find great food, and access the nearby hiking trails. From the outside, the entrance looks like a small, unassuming restaurant, so we weren't expecting much. However, the room completely exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The large tatami-style bed was soft, and the bedding was of excellent quality, making for a wonderful night's sleep. The restaurant is also worth trying. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the chicken soup with ginkgo nuts. It was so flavorful that I even ate all the chicken skin—something I never do! The biggest highlight was the exceptional service. The staff created a dedicated WeChat group for each guest, so any questions or requests were answered almost instantly. Every evening, the owner also prepared a freshly made sweet dessert soup for every guest, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel truly welcomed. This place combines a great location, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and genuine hospitality. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again."

"This hotel is absolutely, incredibly, exceptionally good!!!! I'm genuinely impressed, and I rarely leave reviews. This was my first staycation experience, and it was a fantastic one. I can only say that the hotel owner has both great taste and a lot of heart. I hope they can maintain this standard; I'll definitely be back. Here are a few highlights: 1. The bed was incredibly comfortable; I slept so soundly. The room had a lot of wooden furniture, which felt very high-end and smelled wonderful. You even get to choose a scent before checking in! Plus, it was exceptionally clean. So many small details made my stay satisfying 🥹. 2. I came specifically for the activities and tried calligraphy meditation (I thought it would be an hour, but it turned out to be two and a half! It felt very much like meditation) and singing bowl meditation (the instructor was so gentle and professional, a truly wonderful experience, like being in Chiang Mai). I also did some Baduanjin (after breakfast, I did a session and worked up a good sweat, which felt great). 3. The service was excellent, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. Next time, I want to come back with a group of friends and stay in a villa!!!"

Everything felt peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for escaping the busy city life for a while. The hotel staff were extremely kind and welcoming throughout our entire stay. A special thank you for always helping us with transportation. Since it can sometimes be a little difficult to get a taxi in the area, they even drove us down personally whenever needed. She drove so well, it was actually really fun, and she was incredibly sweet and helpful. We truly felt comfortable, safe, and cared for the entire time. There are also many beautiful places and spots nearby that are easy to reach and perfect for exploring. "I specifically came for the 'blue tears' phenomenon, and choosing this accommodation in Guanxian Ancient City really made things easy. It was just a few minutes' walk from my room to the South Bridge, and seeing the 'blue tears' after dark made it all worthwhile. On the way back, I passed a lively night market, bought some skewers, and ate them as I walked. The room itself was nice, the bedding was clean, and after a long day of exploring, I could just shower and fall right asleep. I woke up refreshed the next day, ready to continue exploring the ancient city! 🌟"

A truly satisfying and warm experience! The owner was incredibly welcoming, personally picking us up and dropping us off. They even treated us to afternoon tea, so we could immediately relax with some local specialty fruits and 'xiaomahua' (small fried dough twists) upon arrival. They also shared some really helpful travel tips. The room itself was clean and cozy.

The room was very tidy; it's a shame I didn't get any photos because my little one immediately ran to the tent ⛺️. There's a buffet breakfast every morning, which I think ends before 10 AM – not very friendly for late risers like me! 🥳 There's also afternoon tea 🫖 every day. (Just a side note: since our child is quite young, we had both lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant every day), and the food was really delicious. There's also a play area for children on the first floor, and you can even get game tokens from the front desk! (Our child was too young, so mom and dad played for him). On the day we checked in, the lady at the front desk gave our baby a mosquito repellent bracelet, which we absolutely loved. All I can say is: we'll meet again soon! (literally: 'Mountains and rivers will meet, we'll see each other again.')

Went during a low season. The hotel was virtually empty except for us, but the staff remained professional. The rooms were a slight letdown on a few points - BUT overall it was extremely enjoyable and downright luxurious in other areas. Overall, a definite recommend. We had a great stay and a great time. Amazing - it's a working tea farm. We woke early to pluck tea leaves for the experience (free but worth 68 yuan) and if you collect enough you can take it to the tea master to then experience frying the tea in a wok to turn the fresh leaves into dry green tea. The tea sachets in the rooms are made by the hotel themselves and taste great. More free experiences are included with the stay, including tea brewing classes and wearing hanfu. I thought it to be incredibly value for money. The private onsen is great and came with a homemade herbal pouch to throw in for a medicinal bath. The rooms are spacious with an excellent view - and I MUST commend the incredible number of light switches which let you have any combination of light ambience. Minor letdowns - mosquitoes will come to you at the alfresco area during mealtimes, I would sit indoors next time. We also had to run the shower for a long while before hot water could come out. The charging sockets are a little iffy with lots of dust in the sockets and some outlets might not be working depending on your luck. The standard sockets mostly work but USB sockets might not. The smart W/C is also slightly malfunctioning but largely works as intended.
