"Honestly, the stay at Almont Inland Resort was a highlight of our Butuan trip. My friend and I booked a two-bedroom suite, and having that extra space for privacy while still having a spot to hang out together made all the difference. You can tell the building has been around for a while, and I loved that they kept the old-fashioned door — it gives the place a lot of character and charm. The suite was spacious and very clean, and the hot shower with a bathtub was such a nice touch after a long day. Everything was comfortable and well looked after. The location was perfect for us. We stayed Saturday night into Sunday morning, and the church was just a short walk away, which made things so easy. Service was friendly and good, with just a little room to be a touch more attentive — but it didn't take away from the experience at all. All in all, a comfortable and pleasant stay. Although there was some ongoing construction during our stay, it wasn't a major issue since we were out most of the day for our island activities, and the work had already stopped by the time we returned each afternoon. We also enjoyed dining at their restaurant. The food was delicious, and we appreciated that the chef personally came over to ask how we liked our meals. My only suggestion would be to add more menu options, as the resort is quite far from restaurants and convenience stores. Having a wider selection would be especially helpful for guests staying several days. The staff were all friendly, accommodating, and approachable. They assisted us with everything we needed before, during, and even after our stay, making us feel well taken care of. Overall, I highly recommend Ferra Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and private getaway.
