"The hotel is nestled by mountains and the sea, offering stunning views 👍. Getting to Macau from Hong Kong via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is very convenient. Sitting on the 'Golden Bus' (shuttle bus) and admiring the spectacular bridge and endless ocean is truly a delight. On this trip across the sea, I was lucky enough to spot some dolphins. These sea sprites were incredibly cute, but unfortunately, my hands weren't fast enough to capture them flipping around, so I missed the chance to photograph them. All I can do is wish these sprites a long and happy life 🙏."

"This was my first stay at a Macau hotel where I could check in before 12:00 PM, which is incredibly convenient for families traveling with children! The front desk staff, Monica, was so thoughtful and attentive. I've been to Macau countless times and stayed at many hotels, but Monica deserves a perfect 100! This hotel is also fantastic for kids, with a water park, playground, and other great facilities – it's super comfortable for families with little ones! The hotel even arranged for a tent to be set up, which the kids absolutely loved. Both of them slept in the tent that night 🏕️. I'll definitely be staying here again next time. Thank you! 🙏"

"The location is far from the city center, and it's very quiet around. Downstairs is Cheoc Van Beach, where many locals swim. The swimming area is quite large and not too crowded. Overall, it's pretty clean, but just too quiet. The hallway was particularly creepy, and the blue and white decor made me feel helpless. There's no elevator, so getting up and down is inconvenient; definitely don't bring elderly people to stay here. It's fine with kids, but they should ideally be able to walk on their own. It's good for a relaxing vacation, but I wouldn't recommend it for a first-time tourist as getting around is quite troublesome."

"I've always wanted to stay at Hotel Okura, but it's so hard to get a reservation. I finally managed to book a two-night, three-day stay last week, and I was so impressed by the meticulous and thoughtful service. I have to give it a big thumbs up: 1. Before checking in, I emailed the hotel to let them know it was my husband's birthday in June and asked for some birthday decorations. They replied quickly, and to my surprise, they even sent a delicious matcha cake! [Strong] 2. The hotel lobby is open and airy with a simple, understated design. The bamboo garden courtyard is serene and luxurious, creating a wonderful ambiance. The front desk staff are all attractive and friendly. When we checked in, Johnny thoughtfully extended our check-out time to 1 PM. When we checked out, Alsen proactively asked about our stay and even gave us a hotel fridge magnet. The service from both gentlemen was truly exceptional. 3. The guest room layout is well-designed, comfortable, and practical. The Japanese design details are perfectly executed. The tea set is very practical, and there were also candies and fruit, with complimentary beverages. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job cleaning and thoughtfully organized all my jewelry and cosmetics. It's been years since I've seen such a comprehensive turndown service – water, slippers, and a bathmat were all meticulously placed, and they even provided a sleep spray and paper cranes. Coming back to a tidy room every day after enjoying the Grand Resort Deck was incredibly comforting. 4. I've already decided to bring my mom to Hotel Okura next time, and I hope it will be easier to book then. I do wish the trash can in the bathroom was a bit bigger. All in all, my stay at Hotel Okura was very pleasant and excellent."

"This place has just given us the best hotel experience we’ve had in Asia… quite something, considering Macao is a city-break destination. * The hotel room is utterly superb — from the views, to the huge size, to the classy décor, to the small touches like the complimentary minibar, the massage chair in the bedroom, and the in-room spa service. * The food is exemplary. Even the bar snacks are supremely presented. * The swimming pool is heated — zero shock upon entering — and we didn’t want to get out, as it feels very much like a bath. Perfect. * From butler service through to check-in and concierge alike, this place redefines xenodocheionology (hotel lore). During the flight home, we both sat there blissfully aware that we’d just experienced something very special. We got what we paid for — the very best of world-famous Chinese hospitality and a Valentine’s holiday we’ll never forget."
