The environment is serene, surrounded by lush greenery, giving it a strong resort vibe. Downstairs, there's also an outdoor swimming pool suitable for both adults and children. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, patiently explaining local transportation options. The breakfast buffet is extensive, and dinner can be delivered to your room. The Chinese restaurant also has a good reputation. Overall, it's a very comfortable stay."

"The twin room at Galaxy Hotel, though not very spacious, was comfortable. They set up a tent for the kids, allowing both adults and children to rest independently. The room also offered a nice view, and my child, who loves cars, enjoyed watching numerous vehicles from the window every morning. The in-room coffee machine was an Illy, and the coffee smelled wonderful and fragrant. For children, they provided a set of amenities including toothbrushes, slippers, picture books, and bath towels. Breakfast at the hotel was semi-buffet. While the self-service section didn't offer a vast variety, the items were quite exquisite. Having been accustomed to the extensive full buffets at other hotels, I was a little disappointed. However, the dining environment was pleasant. Breakfast hours were from 7 AM to 11 AM, and lunch was from 11:30 AM to 2 PM, so you could choose a time slot. The children's play facilities were exceptionally rich, with outdoor water play, sand play, and an indoor Kids' Club. Keeping the children entertained at the hotel for a whole day was not an issue. Overall, the experience at Galaxy Hotel was quite good, as it's a reputable long-standing hotel. During check-out, the front desk staff, Martin, even gave us a small gift, which was very thoughtful. We checked out the day before the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the hotel mentioned there would be more surprising activities during the festival."

"Overall, I enjoyed my stay, and the breakfast was decent. The hotel has a Portuguese style, but the decor is a bit outdated. Many people mentioned the worn-out towels, and indeed they were... we wondered if it was to prevent them from being stolen. A downside was the lack of disposable slippers; good thing we brought our own. Also, there's no Wi-Fi in the pool and restaurant areas. Housekeeping only comes if you request it; they didn't clean our room, but they did take out the trash and provide new tissues and toilet paper when asked. On the bright side: you can take the stairs through the pool area to reach the bus stop, and there's a great swimming pool. However, sometimes they bring in what seems like a kindergarten group, which can be noisy and make the pool area a bit chaotic. There were no critical downsides, and I would visit this hotel again. After a few days at the casino, I'd recommend this place for a relaxing break. The sea is within walking distance, not super clean, but good enough for a swim."

Among all the hotels in Macau, the hygiene here is exceptionally good. It's not far from Rua do Cunha, just opposite the East Wing Plaza, and within walking distance, offering plenty of specialty food options."
